Well af arrived for me today, and I am now gearing up to talking dh into some eager action next week....

roque - here's hoping we can find energy to get into action soon and get results!

Nemo - anynews from you?

angrypixi - are you managing to seduce your hubby yet!!!!

waves to everyone else here....

roquefortlover · 29/09/2008 13:44

Hi all!

Welll, AF came for me last Friday - just after I had caved and weed on a stick of course! Only a cheap one though .

Starting to gear up for this month - like Diege have ordered preseed and also cutting out caffeine, cutting down on alcohol, drinking grapefruit juice and trying to remember to take vitamins!! Just need to BD at the right times now and not feel too tired/have a cold/etc...

How's it going with everyone else? Have you tested rainbow days? Nemo, any luck?

rainbowdays · 28/09/2008 21:34

This thread has gone quiet for a while, we must all be busy with back to school business again.

Well I am in that horrible time waiting for af to arrive, knowing that the lack of time with dh means that it really has to arrive sometime soon. I just am not sure when it is going to arrive....

How is everyone else doing here?

Diege · 19/09/2008 17:04

Hello! Back from work trip, so good to catch up.
Sorry about af SHUSH . I'm on cd 5, so I think we're not too far apart dates-wise?
ROQ, how goes the symptoms? You must surely be gearing up for weeing on a stick any day soon?
Any news NEMO, IRISH?
ANGRYPIXIE, methinks your dp will crumble soon . Is there any particular worry he's got about 4? Agree, it does get tiring..
Well, I'm all geared up for this month. Have bought the yucky 'pre-seed' stuff, have vits for dh as well as me, and the pre-seed also came with 15 ov sticks and 5 preg tests. Bring it on!

angrypixie · 16/09/2008 20:09

Torturing myself reading this thread
I have 3 children 5yrs 4yrs and 8 months and am desperate for another. DH says no

Have told him that I will take absolutely no steps to prevent myself from getting pregnant, it will be entirely his responsibility, and then regularly try to seduce him miles away from any condoms.

Being this saucy with 3 young children is killing me, but fingers crossed he gets carried away soon

Good luck ladies

roquefortlover · 16/09/2008 19:55

sorry AF got you shush but enjoy your night out! yes it is really quiet isnt it? I am still feeling queasy and already started poking my boobs to check them - God I hate the 2WW sometimes!

shush3 · 16/09/2008 18:53

roquefortlover · 16/09/2008 12:30

shush3 · 15/09/2008 10:33

ladytophamhatt · 13/09/2008 16:25

YOU'RE ALL MAD.

MAD MAD MAD MAD MAD MAD MAD.

Diege · 13/09/2008 16:18

Thanks ROQ . You're so right abiut that last bit of secret hope - the type you don't mention to anyone even if there's 100% no chance that month . Feel OK, and looking at next month (and probably at least 4 or 5 more)as a chance to lose a few more pounds and get stuck into an exercise programme. For now though there's choccy and x-factor

roquefortlover · 13/09/2008 11:39

Hi Irish mama and welcome. Shush, sorry you are feeling down - it's not over yet though, and you know that early tests are notoriously unreliable!

Diege, choccy for you too I think - it's always depressing when it arrives even if you've been expecting it, I guess it just squashes that last secret bit of hope... take care of yourself and enjoy the weekend!

Diege · 13/09/2008 11:28

Oh SHUSH Hope you're OK? Lots of choccy prescribed. When is af due? I've had some spotting this morning, so my af will no doubt turn up on time tomorrow. Not too disappointed, but still feel a bit, well 'flat' .

shush3 · 12/09/2008 21:32

af pains and chocolate cravings,

did a first response early test was neg,

stupidly emotional.

irishmama3 · 12/09/2008 15:40

PS I'M 36 AND 3/4!!

irishmama3 · 12/09/2008 15:38

Hey GiRLS
AF got me thurs so would love if someone would add me to the list! I'm cd 2 now Cycle 6 TTC#4. i know we''re mad but as roq said I was finished at 2 and told DH accidental no 3 was last but the broodiness won't disappear!Nemo I've had to swear this will be my last....but you know they enjoy the trying!(blush)

Diege · 11/09/2008 12:40

Welcome RAINBOW! LOL at pacifying dhs/dps! I was the same with no.3. and can't say 100% that I'll feel no.4 would be my limit, though that's what I'm feeling right now (and on days 3 is plenty too ).
You're right Nemo and Roq, the whole changing levels thing is such a big thing for them (and us!). Poor dd1 was getting quite worried about the prospect of taking money to spend in the tuck shop - anxious about having enough, what change she's get etc..in the end she's decided to take an apple, though tells me daily that some people even buy toast!! .
Well af def. on way here, as usual menstrual migraine starting / Not had one since before mmc, so takes me back a little. Still, here's to next month!

roquefortlover · 11/09/2008 12:24

Aw, thanks rainbow for joining the oldies! I too swore to dh that no. 3 would be absolutely the last...my presence on this thread shows you that is not the case and he has now been persuaded on no 4...

diege, meant to say, my pfb has just started secondary school and I feel the same as I did when she started primary (although she seems fine)! Things never stop changing do they.

Nemoandthefishes · 11/09/2008 12:15

lol rainbow you sound like me..I have sworn to dh that I will stop at 4..although I think I said that at no.2

diege bless your PFB being overwhelmed it is strange changing no matter what level you are at.

Rainbowdays 40, ds1 5, dd 3, ds2 5months, still breastfeeding only one proper period so far, cd 14. TTC no.4

Hope you don't mind me joining in here! I am still working on dh to be fully convinced, that I really will stop being broody after dc4. He is reluctantly conceding to my request to ttc4, as long as I promise not to ask for dc5 lol!!!!

Also did not want roquefort or Mik to feel too old here and so joining in to boost up the average age!

Diege · 11/09/2008 08:53

Oh and good news on big boobs SHUSH

Diege · 11/09/2008 08:53

That's interesting about the CB monitor ROQ - I may try one myself if no luck over the next few months. Good luck for today!
NEMO, great news on ds taking so well to reception. My PFB has just started 'middle' school (7-11) and is OK, but a little overwhelmed with how grown up things seem compared to infants.DD3 is at nursery and dd2 year one. Working from home today and dh is also off. He thinks he's in luck but on cd 26 I really haven't got my heart in it! .
