TTC no. 119 - fingers crossed for more BFPs!

Thought I'd start another thread as the last one was SO successful but is starting to take a while to load and I keep losing my place in it!

A quick update on my stats - on CD39 of third cycle since getting AF back after DS was born in April 2004 (10.5 months old).

Have endometriosis and PCOS so have decided to let nature take its course over the next few months and if I fall pg naturally, then so be it. If I don't, then we'll try clomid again (worked first time for us with DS).

Am still breastfeeding, so have erratic cycles - they were always long (so far have had AF visit twice and had 50 and 42-day cycles).

No idea when I ov - may try OPK's next month if no success this month (and don't think I am pg atm).

Think that's it!

fresco - not tested yet been on my journey into work into the snow. Am now in work but will pop out shortly to buy a test. God, I just want an answer one way or another .... am going mad here though.

OMG OMG OMG OMG I have just used my last Clearblue test that I found the other night after having a BFN froma First Response on Monday morning and there is very definitely a faint positive!! I'm excited and scared now - scared that it's some abberation or something but it's not, it's definitely there. I don't want to get too excited in case it isn't there (but I'm sure it is). So should I test again today or wait until tomorrow morning first thing as I did today? Please someone tell me what to do! Going insane here ...

Not sure gingerbear. Okay I think, but TBh have no idea. Not sure who went for it or how many were interviewd. I will find out tonight or tomorrow. But, as it is 5pm alreaddy - just got in - I can't see it being tonight now. Thaks

been TTC for 9 months. Well if I'm oving then then next step is to check if DP's sperm count is OK and then the step after that (assuming his sperm is ok) is to check if my tubes are blocked. Like I say, hopefully it won't come to any of that (and in any case it's obviously my choice if i want these tests) cos I'll get pregnant.

katie-how long hav you ttc now? i mean do you have to go throu all that now you know that your hormons are ok? sooo glad for you that results are good.why do you need dp's sperm count?

I've been pg 4 times in total, first three m/c at various times up until about 13weeks. So was on tenterhooks all through this one (and was under the special care programme, which meant NOTHING. Still only met my midwife about 3 times!)

All four of those was taking the contraceptive pill, so this time I moved onto the injection but have managed to pursuade dp to try for another so will be coming off it asap! So tbh I don't know if we will have any problems conceiving as such, it's just hanging on to it that has been the problem so far, although all accounts suggest after one successful pg it should hopefully not be a problem in subsequent ones!

tests were ok - all normal so I've ovulated this month and doc seems to thing that hormone levels are all normal. Next step is to get DPs sperm count done and if that is normal I would then have the procedure where they check if your tubes are blocked. Hopefully it won't come to that though and I'll get pregnant this month!

Ernest - not sure what that could be - how long is your cycle usually?

Not nuts at all! Did you fall pg quickly last time? It took us a while because of various problems, which is one reason to try so soon - don't want to wait, find out that I can't have another one and then wonder what if we'd tried sooner.

I have been commented on as nuts for trying so soon , but ideally I'd love to get pg between now and june. That to me would be a good age gap

Hi all, sorry for all those who are also being visited by AF at the mo I'm sure it's because it's a newish thread and we're beginning a brand new month and March is when Spring starts too, new life, etc. Howzat for positive thinking?!

Hi Lunavix - when's your DS's birthday? Mine's 3rd April - cannot believe he's nearly 11 months old!

Not been very well - just got through half a piece of toast and feel sick again - this bug is truly vile. AF doesn't help... Had several mouthfuls of soup since Sunday lunchtime - not sure how I'm managing to produce milk for DS, but the body's an amazing thing! Just hope mine can get pg again

Can i ask a Q pls re bleeding. sorry if tmi. I'm on day 10 of cycle. bd last night. today, couple of hours after got up felt very wet sorry sorry sorry, gross I know. went to loo & had quite a bit of thick brown blood. still having bit throughout day, but not much. Never had this b4. not v. nice sorry again. anyone know what it might be/reasons?

i know its easy to be a big talker, to tell you not to panic, but you dont even know if things are ok, and they may be.i wouldnt carry on thinking about it ( thats a big lie to be honest) but just wait and see about the results, hen

oooo, am very excited about appointment with acupuncturist now expat.

don't ask me about EWCM and +ov tests - I haven't had either! Although anchovies, as I understand it, you OV after the day on which you see the EWCM (or the last day you see it if you seen it for several days)
