Thought I'd start another thread as the last one was SO successful but is starting to take a while to load and I keep losing my place in it!

A quick update on my stats - on CD39 of third cycle since getting AF back after DS was born in April 2004 (10.5 months old).

Have endometriosis and PCOS so have decided to let nature take its course over the next few months and if I fall pg naturally, then so be it. If I don't, then we'll try clomid again (worked first time for us with DS).

Am still breastfeeding, so have erratic cycles - they were always long (so far have had AF visit twice and had 50 and 42-day cycles).

No idea when I ov - may try OPK's next month if no success this month (and don't think I am pg atm).

Think that's it!

Lots and lots of babydust to all the ttcers and lots and lots of babyglue to those who've just had BFPs (and more congrats!). xxx

horseshoe · 24/02/2005 11:59

Congratulations Sparkly xxxxx

Diege · 24/02/2005 11:47

Many congratulations Sparkly!. I had a faint positive for about a week after first testing with daughter no.1, and it didn't turn darker until about 10 days after. How exciting! Bet your heart was racing!

Worriedbev · 24/02/2005 11:46

ernest

We will have to wait for 8 to 10 days to get DH's sperm test results. I suppose I wouldnt be so worried but it all comes down to his reversal of a vasectomy about 8 years ago and his 22 million count then. I worry with these things that sperm counts can drop so long after the reversal. Anyone else had this experience.

Thanks everyone. Unsurprisingly, I'm not getting much done at work today. Want to tell dp but feel I want to wait until I get another positive tomorrow morning when I test again. It's not sinking in yet!

Haha ... definitely not be using Cruz as a name (that's shocking!).

expatinscotland · 24/02/2005 11:38

Congrats, Sparkly

Worriedbev · 24/02/2005 11:38

cp3

Thanks for the positive information about DH's sperm count. I am going to the doctors today to find out about my smear test so I will ask when I get there. When is your test due for? I can let you know tomorrow if you want.

ernest · 24/02/2005 11:32

congratulations sparkly. if you conceived in Barcelona, maybe you could call it Cruz?! Seems to do for either gender

Katierocket (& anyone else with more knowledge than me) - I'm now on day 11 of 25 day cycle & am still having dark brown spotting. like I said I've never had anything like this b4 mid cycle. i'm not due to 'o' for about a week, so can't be linked to that. Any ideas?

Did you have your interview, Hula, how'd it go?

Toothache · 24/02/2005 11:21

Sparkly - CONGRATULATIONS!!

If the 1st day of your last AF was 40days ago.... I'm make that Jan 16th? That makes you 5.5wks pregnant and a due date of.....
October 23rd.

Hello all fellow TTCers. After a much needed break from technology, I am back online from home. Will try not to spend hours on MN! Lots of baby dust. .·´ ¸.·´¨) ¸.·¨) .·´ ¸.·´¨) ¸.·¨)

katie, how long did you have to wait for your results? mine still not here yet.wonder if it means something is there to discuss.try again tomoro, only had it done last fri.

sparkly · 24/02/2005 10:24

Moomin - you lot know and I haven't even told DP yet. Didn't want to say anything this morning because I wasn't convinced I was. He's working away at the moment anyway so I won't see him till late Friday night so will save it till then. Will prob go for the blood test option though just to be sure given all my previous infertility issues etc. Think I prob conceived around 4th-7th Feb so not sure when that makes my due date (if really pg!) ... any ideas??

Moomin · 24/02/2005 10:14

oh and btw, sparkly - for an example of just how sacred i was about testing, just look further down this thread to last saturday. i was petrified!! all the signs were there but i was so scared of getting a neg. don't feel silly - it's natural if you want it so badly. all the best x

Moomin · 24/02/2005 10:13

you can't get a false pos - even the leaflet says you're pg even with the feintest line. i did a boots one last weekend which comes out with a cross if you're pg and mine was feinter than the test line but it's so blinkin obvious i'm pg that the colour of the line really does seem to be irrelevant. if you're worried why not go the the docs for a blood test for a definitive answer? i'd say it's a cert, though, so congrats ! will you be on the end of the oct or will you be the 1st one to start a due in nov thread?!

sparkly · 24/02/2005 10:08

It's CD40 for me today of what is at the most a 30 day cycle. Have tested loads and this is the closest I've ever come to a positive. Gonna test again tomorrow to be certain and maybe go see my gp tomorrow, too. I know I keep saying it but I'm so scared to get excited in case I'm wrong!

munnzieb · 24/02/2005 09:56

sparkly - i'd say u were PG - you can't have a false positive! congratualtions. try again tomorrow, how late r u?

sparkly · 24/02/2005 09:54

Second test done and second faint positive. What does that mean??? I've got another test so will do that first thing tomorrow morning. In the meantime I'm thinking I may be pg! That said, if not I will be so disappointed so maybe I shouldn't let myself get excited. If I am it means we conceived whilst in Barcelona the other week - was a great weekend! God, time till tomorrow will drag!

munnzieb · 24/02/2005 09:11

lol@deig - u know my DH was soo chuffed when we started TTC, cos It ment he got to BD everyday, and had great delight in telling all his friends what we were doing! but now, I think the poor lamb is too worn out to care! lol.

horseshoe · 24/02/2005 09:10

Morning all,
Just quickly checking in b4 starting work (yawn)

Loads seems to be going on so good luck all....

Im an aquarian Fresco........fingers crossed

munnzieb · 24/02/2005 09:09

well i'll keep my fingers corssed for you, I remember what I was like waiting - I was ringing the Dr's twice a day for a week as it took 3 weeks instead of 2! still hopefully it will all be OK for you.

Diege · 24/02/2005 09:09

Tried the sound on (dh will tolerate anything if it means he gets the chance!) but it is rather distracting as I can never fully concentrate on all the storylines with all the (his) noise! Hope he doesn't read this! Think you could be right about EWM Munnzieb - boobs V. sore though, so may get a second line tonight. Out the office now for hours, but will join in later!

fresco · 24/02/2005 09:04

glad you feeling better munn.cant get my results befoe 11.argh!!!
come on sparkly, give us a BFP!!!

munnzieb · 24/02/2005 09:01

lol, what u like! lol, leave the sound on! he he he. I'd go by the EWCM rather than the tests, then again I never got on with the two line tests, cos I was never sure if it was my day or not!, still waiting for my 'O' on persona to show up, (only on CD 11 thou so hopefully will be here tomorrow/friday)

Diege · 24/02/2005 08:57

Go on Sparkly! It's in your mind now so you won't rest until the deed is done!
Still waiting for second line on OPK - day 19 now and EWM had gone. Can you miss LH surge depending on when you test do you think? Maybe I won't O this month? Have smear/colposcopy next week anyway (apparently the nurse can tell if you're preggers by colour of cervix (blue). Least I can lay off bd for a while (awful I know - I make him 'perform 7.50 on Tuesdays so I don't miss Holby City). Have even been known to keep telly on with mute!

munnzieb · 24/02/2005 08:54

morning al, just though i'd look in, nothing new to report this end.

Hula - i'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you hon.

Tan - good to hear form you again, got everything crossed for you as well. any idea how long it will be now? (hopefully you'll start off our new thread for us!)

Sparkley - keeping fingers crossed again, let us know how you get on hon.

KR - let me know how you get on with all ur gyno visits - we have our first one in april, (also TTC for 10 months, but DH has been away for 4 so i'm intrested in the course of action which the dr's take)

hi and welcome to all newbies! lol, WB i'm sure u're DH's count will be just fine. if not get him on the old zinc supplements, apparently that helps.

Fresco - have u had ur results yet? any news from you yet?

Well i've had my 3 days of feeling v v low, and am now pulling around again, we will get PG girls! we will!
