Thought I'd start another thread as the last one was SO successful but is starting to take a while to load and I keep losing my place in it!

A quick update on my stats - on CD39 of third cycle since getting AF back after DS was born in April 2004 (10.5 months old).

Have endometriosis and PCOS so have decided to let nature take its course over the next few months and if I fall pg naturally, then so be it. If I don't, then we'll try clomid again (worked first time for us with DS).

Am still breastfeeding, so have erratic cycles - they were always long (so far have had AF visit twice and had 50 and 42-day cycles).

No idea when I ov - may try OPK's next month if no success this month (and don't think I am pg atm).

Think that's it!

Lots and lots of babydust to all the ttcers and lots and lots of babyglue to those who've just had BFPs (and more congrats!). xxx

Sparkly - Why are you waiting until later to do the digital test???? Have you told DP? What did he say??

sparkly · 25/02/2005 08:33

Well I did another test this morning and it was faint but definitely there so I'm more convinced. Not that convinced though as have bought a digital test to do later today. Yes or no in a window would be definitive enough for me! I know you're all probably sick of me not believing it but I just don't - don't feel pregnant, not feeling sick though have been incredibly tired. When pg with dd I was sick for the first 20 weeks so keep using that as the benchmark which may not be useful.

Good luck to everyone who is testing soon! I will report back today after doing my FINAL test!

katierocket · 25/02/2005 07:39

or sparkly even!

katierocket · 25/02/2005 07:38

lots of congrats sparly
and cp3 it's bound to be your turn, especially if it's your birthday! happy birthday BTW

Elf1981 · 25/02/2005 07:22

Hi all, been lurking for a few days. Just like to see how you are all getting on!

Congratulations Sparkly on your BFP!

Love Elf.

sparkly · 24/02/2005 19:41

cp3, it was the worst time of my life to be honest. I don't think you can appreciate it until you've been through it. I was diagnosed with pco and we did clomid, injectable hormones and finally ivf. Nothing worked. When I got pregnant with dd it happened naturally. I do feel incredibly lucky that it's happened so quickly this time though as I've said many times today, I'm not sure I believe it's real yet. I can't wait to test in the morning just to know with more certainty.

cp3 · 24/02/2005 18:44

Oh Sparkly 6 years. How heartbreaking that must have been for you. The fact that it only took 2 months this time gives hope to us all.

sparkly · 24/02/2005 17:06

Fresco this was our second month of trying which I know is nothing in this. But it took me more than 6 years to conceive my DD and I had no idea what to expect this time around. I came home today and saw the test I did this morning and it's very definitely positive That said, I'm still retesting in the morning just to be sure!

If I am due, I reckon I must be due very end October or 1st November. Think I o'd between 5th to 8th of Feb. Test I've done earlier this month have all been negative.

romilly · 24/02/2005 15:16

Im in such a posotive mood today. We bd'd last night and it was perfect conditions for concieving. You know what i mean dont you ladies. TMI ALERT !!!!! High soft cervix, lovley egg white cm and a orgasm too, what a bonus that was. And its my birthday.

fresco · 24/02/2005 14:40

sparkly, hen how long have u ttc?

sparkly · 24/02/2005 13:09

You're all so lovely! Still in complete shock that it could have really happened. I've tested so many times this month and really expected nothing this morning. My dd, who is 5, asked last night "how do babies get into mummy's tummy?" - maybe she knew!!! BTW, I struggled with an answer!

Another test tomorrow morning to fully convince myself ... then maybe I'll believe it!

jessicasmummy · 24/02/2005 13:00

right with ya fastasleep - i love popping on here to see how everyone is getting on!

Fastasleep · 24/02/2005 12:55

jessicasmummy · 24/02/2005 12:51

I had 3 very faint lines when pg with jess..... then i left it a few days and hey presto, a darker line appeared! You ARE pg - HUGE congrats! I'd say you were due first week of november sweetie xxxx

fresco · 24/02/2005 12:49

munnzieb · 24/02/2005 12:48

Luna, hope that getting and staying pg is easy for you this time - can understand why it's a very worrying time for you.

Glad your hormone tests were good, katierocket. Fingers crossed this is your month too hun.

Fastasleep · 24/02/2005 12:36

I'm gate-crashing to say congrats Sparkly! We're waiting for ya on the due in October board lol ...

Sorry I disappeared from here girls (if any of you remember me, munzie, tan, hula etc I remember you!) I decided it was best to just forget about trying whilst still er going at it... so I rudely disappeared, I still lurk lots though! Best of luck to every last one of you and buckets of dust!

sparkly · 24/02/2005 12:33

At least it's not just me who needed more convincing than just 2 faint positives! It really hasn't sunk in - due at the end of October? About a month after DD's birthday then. God, can't wait to tell DP but am gonna wait till I see him - it's not an over the phone moment! You've all been so supportive but don't think you've got rid of me yet ... until I'm convinced you're stuck with me!!

Toothache · 24/02/2005 12:15

Good luck Worriedbev!

Sparkly - I did 8 tests over 5 days before I finally beleived it was true! lol.

Sallie · 24/02/2005 12:15

Congrats Sparkley! I would get yourself one of the Boots digital tests. No faffing around with looking for faint lines - they come up with a definitive yes or no. And I used one at cd 24 out of a cycle of 28 days and got a bfp....

Worriedbev · 24/02/2005 12:12

Fresco

I am ok. Trying to live normally for the next 8 to 10 days until we get DH's sperm test results. What a brave man to go through that for me. Just hope there are some wrigglers in there. I will put him on the zinc as suggested. Does this increase sperm even if there isnt any there, although I shouldnt say that yet as I dont know. I am looking on the down side as usual, always do.

Sparkly congratulations you lucky thing. I can still remember how I felt with my first daughter when I saw the positive line. It is a feeling like nothing on earth. It is unbelievable for a few days. You seem to be living a dream, but is is real.

Anyone else out there on day 9 of their cycles. I want to find a buddy mate. Bedded last night but a bit early I think. I think we might just be hitting the spot and will have to bed a bit more!

Bevxx
