Thought I'd start another thread as the last one was SO successful but is starting to take a while to load and I keep losing my place in it!

A quick update on my stats - on CD39 of third cycle since getting AF back after DS was born in April 2004 (10.5 months old).

Have endometriosis and PCOS so have decided to let nature take its course over the next few months and if I fall pg naturally, then so be it. If I don't, then we'll try clomid again (worked first time for us with DS).

Am still breastfeeding, so have erratic cycles - they were always long (so far have had AF visit twice and had 50 and 42-day cycles).

No idea when I ov - may try OPK's next month if no success this month (and don't think I am pg atm).

Think that's it!

Lots and lots of babydust to all the ttcers and lots and lots of babyglue to those who've just had BFPs (and more congrats!). xxx

lol@ pop, well normally we're both so knackered at going at it hamemr and tongs for the first 2.5 weeks we can't be arsed the rest of the time! lol.

zinc is ment to help with DH's spearms and make them healthier. Angus Catcus is ment to help balance hormones, a lot of pre menopausal women use it, but they recon in a study of 20 women 3 were PG or something like that after taking it. (also it's ment to ehlp with PMT)

cp3 · 02/03/2005 09:18

I wouldnt go that far Pop. I just say oh alright then

popadopalis · 02/03/2005 09:17

cp3 - I don't think it's bad. I'm exactly the same. Poor Dh came looking for some last night and my first instinct was there's no point but quickly had to cover it up and be all "absolutely darling, I'm so horny for you baby!".

cp3 · 02/03/2005 09:13

Pop im post ov too but feeling ok. Im trying to build enthusiam to carry on bding so my partner doesnt feel used. Im alwways so up for it begining of cycle but loose interest after ov. Is that terrible??

popadopalis · 02/03/2005 09:12

Big fan of pregnacare! Been taking it since I starting TTC.

cp3 · 02/03/2005 09:11

I just take folic acid and mum to be tablets. Am nearly weaned off my ad's so am very proud of myself.

popadopalis · 02/03/2005 09:10

Hello ladies.

Feeling a bit crappy today, wondering when it's going to happen for me. Also feel a bit blah but not exactly sick. Keep thinking that I'm the only one feeling like this but then I read this thread and realise it's probably cos I'm post ov and waiting, waiting, waiting as always.

Sorry for being depressing.

Been reading this and hearing about mag, agnus castus and zinc for Dh. Can anyone explain cos I haven't heard of using these things?

katierocket · 02/03/2005 09:06

hello all
CD9 of 28 cycle here so bding starts! I hate the 'pressure' though - don't you?

Fresco, I didn't have to go into docs to get results but my GP is lovely and wanted to discuss them with me.

good luck everyone

sparkly

munnzieb · 02/03/2005 09:03

I like pregnancare, althou they're like bloody horse tablets arnt they! lol.

Hulababy · 02/03/2005 09:01

Oh, I take the pregnacare too

munnzieb · 02/03/2005 08:58

pip, well i'm on for a feb baby i've decided, well jan or feb, but I must say I have a funny feeling that i'll catch in may time ish, it will be due 10th feb and will be a girl, don't ask me why but here's to hoping!

((((hugs))))) sparkley you post here just as long as u feel u want to hon, we're all here for you. if there any chance you could still be PG?

Hula - magnesium? not sure on it, i'm back to the starflower to thin CM, and also angus catus but that apprently brings OV forward, and levels hormones out, which I don't want to do, really I wnat to delay AF by 2-3 days for this/the next cycle, so that i'll be right at the start of my fertile period when DH comes home instead of in the middle of it. - would Mag help for that? (althou i'm reluctant to keep pumping my body full of crap - b4 TTC I didn't even take a paracetomal for a headache. now i'm like a walking pharmasist! lol) oh and also i'm takin pregnacare (or well will start taking it all again once this cycle is finished)

Hulababy · 02/03/2005 08:54

Meant to get some angus castus too, but forgot to call at chemist this weekend. Wonder if it is too late for this month now?

cp3 · 02/03/2005 08:52

Sparkly, how awfull for you. Dont leave the thread. You will be still ttcing anyway when feeling up to it, and we all worry and care how your feeling. I had an early mc too so i know how down your feeling.

Hulababy · 02/03/2005 08:50

I was told magnesium can help as it sorts out your cycle, etc. I seem to have a shortish second half of the month - and apparantly it can bring that back into line. Who knows? I will try most stuff now!

Sarkly - of course you should still post here (if you want to) - we are all here to support. I'm so sorry to hear what you are going through. I hope the apointment tomrrow goes okay, or as well as it can do. Take care of yourself.

sparkly · 02/03/2005 08:47

wasn't sure whether to post on this thread anymore given my circumstances. I went to the doctor Monday and Tuesday and am now going into have the scan on Thursday. My GP, who was very lovely and understanding, said it is likely I've had an imcomplete miscarriage because I've had hardly any bleeding other than that on Friday night and a bit on Monday day/night. So she think's I'll need to get that sorted tomorrow, too. Dreading it to be honest. Will be very glad when it's all over.

Hope you're all well and good luck to anyone who is testing soon.

cp3 · 02/03/2005 08:46

Hula sorry for being thick but why magnesium, i havnt heard about this!!!! Tell, how does it help.

Hulababy · 02/03/2005 08:43

I really don't mind when the baby's birthday is now. It would be lovely any time I think Infact, when I fell pg the first time (which sadly ended in an ealry mc) the due date was 31st December.

CD4 of month 7. I have started taking some magnesium capsules this month to see if that helps. Have to try and persuade DH to take zinc as well I think though.

Do you think that there is anything else we could be doing?

cp3 · 02/03/2005 08:43

Blimey, not on for a day or so and what a lot to catch upon. 8 days till i can test but i prob wont bother wasting my money

Babybop, how are you? Has the bleeding stopped? I have bled almost constantly since my son was born. It will stop and then af comes and then it wont stop again. I have to get tablets to stop it usually. Last month i bled for 4 weeks, i def ovulated though this month so fingers crossed. xxxxxxx

Sparkly darling whats the news? How are you feeling? How did the scan go or have you not been yet.

Hula, you all set for bding

Hope everyone else is ok too, its taking me ages to read everyones threads!!!! Fresco you cleaned your little uns teeth yet?

fresco · 02/03/2005 07:46

pipsy, i wouldlove that kind of xmas present.
i do always feel like that, v v v low after ov and before af.its a few days where i feel so miserable until af arrives and then i feel ready to ttc all over again.hence, the roller coaster!!hehe

pipsy1 · 02/03/2005 07:15

I'm back - after a short period of feeling a bit down - comes to me sometimes - decided it maybe wasn't a good time TTC. Don't know why really because I always perk up again, its just at the time I feel too miserable to do much, down on myself etc, but now I am all jolly, happy and excited at the thought of TTC. Do you realise if it happens int he next few weeks girlies it'll be a Christmas baby! Is that good or not so good do you think? Not sure if its fair on the child to have a birthday very near Christmas, or is that just me being silly??

fresco · 02/03/2005 06:58

hi katie.sorry for hassling you, but why did you hav to see doc for your results, couldnt you just get them over the phone? well i am assuming you saw doc for that.thanks

Hulababy · 01/03/2005 20:00

No chance to catch up yet, and had way too much wine - DH brought home a v. wealthy client for drinks - so drank lots!!! Summary of today's gossip anyone?

CD3 here, AF kind of still here. Month 7 awaits...

katierocket · 01/03/2005 19:52

he was really positive, said I had a lot on my side. He's got loads of experience with fertility problems. I think about 40% of his work is with women TTC. He did some 'treatment' and all around my ovaries and that area, feel really warm - honestly, I know it sounds odd. We'll see anyway, I go back again in 2 weeks.

anchovies · 01/03/2005 19:11

Katierocket what did the accupuncturist (is that a word?!) say? Are you hopeful that it will help?

anchovies · 01/03/2005 19:10

Still haven't done it! Have convinced myself that the test that didn't work is a sign that I'm just going to upset myself! Having said that am seriously considering the 24 hour tesco now!
