Yes, you can imagine how all over the place her head must be now.

tinkhasanactivebean · 12/09/2008 16:11

oh nat your poor sis

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/09/2008 15:56

Well DS2 slept in his wellies and wore them to school even though it hadn't rained LOL Bless him, they are Thomas the Tank so he loves them to bits, Igglepiggle didn't even make it to his room let alone his cot!

2BG sorry your feeling poorly, can't be much fun.

My sister just rang before I went to get DS1, she's having another MC. She says she's not feeling too bad, they weren't TTC'ing, (they've just got back hols in the Caribean and thinks the time difference of taking her pill must have let it happen) but it is her 3rd MC now, not an easy week for her. I didn't know what to say though, I know she didn't want another baby, their son is going to be 13 next month so she feels it is much too big an age gap, and they go on holiday 3/4 times a year which she says they couldn't do if they had another baby, but at the same time, going through all of that is so damn difficult and I was stood there with my mouth open just not knowing what the hell to say, what do you say to someone who lost something they didn't exactly want anyway?

2beautifulgalsandabean · 12/09/2008 14:36

God i feel sick

tinkhasanactivebean · 12/09/2008 13:02

lol @ splashing in puddles

thought that you were going to say that the dog ran into you glad it didnt

i am 22 weeks .

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/09/2008 12:57

Hello

Have made a good start on the xmas and bday shopping Also bought DS2 a rain mac thing and wellies, am now almost hoping it rains so he can go splashing in the puddles! LOL no one needs to do it for me, I know we have had enough rain without wishing for more!

Pressies look great Tink I am 24 weeks tomorrow and while I'm not doing too badly in the energy department, I am still dropping off to sleep on the sofa in the evenings, and bursting into tears at the slightest of things I went for a walk yesterday evening (I find if I do a gentle walk after dinner my hips aren't too bad in the night) and there was a dog running lose out side, some kids were running after it calling his name, obviously a family pet got out, reminded me of when my old dog got out once, he was gone for ages, I actually had to try really hard not to burst into tears in the middle of the street! LOL

Ses, glad the MW was so nice and reassuring

Gruff, yellow is a lovely colour for a nursery, DS2's room is blue and yellow, it is really warm and calming.

tinkhasanactivebean · 12/09/2008 12:40

SesHasapinkline · 12/09/2008 12:28

Hi emma!

I've had 2 ERPCs this year. To try and put it delicately, after a missed mc, its the operation / procedure to ensure all the pregnancy is removed. Am hoping that this pregnancy will finally give me dc1!

Right after all the talk of diets on here yesterday, I have no fresh fruit and veg in the house so I'm off t o go and get some salad and fruit for lunch!

Hi GYo and tink!

Have an early scan booked for 29th Sept. Trying not to think about it as it just freaks me out. Still don't really think I'm pg. More like I'm trying to be pg but nothing I can do about it!

tink - where do you get your energy from to have done all that??!!!

I've been pretty inactive recently as not wanted to risk anything but it's not helping my waistline. I must try and take the dogs for a decnt walk today.

tinkhasanactivebean · 12/09/2008 10:43

GYo · 12/09/2008 10:40

Hi Ses
Glad the MW went well. She sounds like a good one so I hope you can keep her. Also good to get a full booking in. Least your officially on the books now. Any word of any early scan?

2BG- sounds like the symptoms are getting going for you! I felt quite ill early on but then felt better (only nausea from time to time) til the tiredness hit big time at 7 or 8wks... Do your dates mean you will give birth in UK or US?

Cal- are you still lying in that comfy bed... Any chance of a pot of Wagon porridge today? I keep thinking of how lovely that topper must be... thinking about getting one for me and DH now! Especially given the amount of time I spend in bed... sleeping, I might add!

SesHasapinkline · 12/09/2008 10:31

Gruffalo - glad your head is a bit better. Do you need nagging about drinking water today?!
Buying a car sounds like v good shopping - bet even tink can't beat that this weekend! What are you looking to get?

I'm just back from midwife. She was sooo lovely and I am glad I went. I apologised for going so early but explained the situation. She hesitated about doing the full booking in but then decided to do it all anyway. She reassured me that a mmc is rare and it was even rarer to be getting full symptoms like I did right up until ERPC. I was still feeling nauseous up until ERPC and my boobs were still sore until 5 days after ERPC! She said normally symptoms would start to have tailed off.
Now I just have to hope that my sore boobs and nausea carry on! I did well up a little bit but she was good and didn't fuss but just carried on with the appointment in a sympathetic manner.
Also moving house came up in conversation and she knows the house we are buying as the people we are buying off had a little girl about 18 months ago and she visited them there!

Can't wait to get my hair cut this afternoon. I've not had it done since begining of May and my usual hair dresser was on maternity leave and the other girl put my parting too far over and I've been struggling with it ever since. Back to my usual girl today and looking forward to getting the right parting and a few layers put in so it doesn't get so tangled!

Then off out for a meal tonight with friends.

Hope everyone else is having a good day

2beautifulgalsandabean · 12/09/2008 10:19

GS- what car are you getting?
Think yellow looks lovely in baby rooms, nice and bright. Enjoy your chillout day.

2beautifulgalsandabean · 12/09/2008 10:17

Morning

Was up early collecting my nan from the airport. She got back from her 3 month trip in the US. Worried about her having to come back and face all grandads things after all this time It is going to be hard for her, but we are all here for her. She seemed in quite good spirits.
I have to tell her in the next week about the move to America?!? I know she will understand but still going to be hard.

Ses- good to see you back i was starting to worry about you not making an appearance for a few days. I hope the M/W appointment goes well and she gives you some reassurance.
I can't believe the cheek of people making that comment to you friend. Just shows how uneducated some people are!

NJ- glad the photos went well, i remember mine last year for DD1 they were horrible, when she forces a smile she almost grits her teeth! great look. Playroom sounds like what we need, a room to throw everything and shut the door! Hope the bedroom changes go well this weekend, we put the DD's in the same room a few weeks ago and its been fine, actually a lot tidier.

Cal- the bed sounds lush and i'm very jealous. We have a topper on ours, is yours the ponity foam one? I will post out the Pre-seed today i promise

Tink- shopaholic is a good trait and very good therapy. Hope the eyebrows look better, really need mine done.

Dal- sorry that you are having to push TTC back, but hopefully the AD will make things a little easier on yourself.

GYO- the tiredness should ease up soon for a few months then comes back again until like NJ says when the babe leaves home.
The weeing i have no idea, i have never really had to wee alot anyway, probably cause i don't drink enough.
I am still in a little shock. Period due today and i have had a dodgy stomach but did ANOTHER test and its still BFP and darker so maybe i kinda believe it now. I do feel sick thou, don't feel like eating anything, nothing tales my fancy. I was heaving this morning after orange juice and nearly threw up but stopped myself as i had just taken my vitamin and didn't want to waste it!
I read the vitamin packet today (they are boots, mum-to-be) they have Folic acid, Omega 3 Vitamin D and Ginger as main ingrediants. Didn't realise they had ginger, suppose to settle your stomach. I have Anti-sickness bands on aswell. I never got sickness this early with the girls!
I am tired, but probably because i am waking at 2 every night and can't go back to sleep for a couple of hours. What is that all about?

GruffaloSoldier · 12/09/2008 09:41

Morning all

head better this morning although still not 100 %

Gyo - we too have loads of painting and DIY to do. We have had the paint for months but have not quite got round to it yet!

Ive decided to paint the nursery a nice sunny yellow as the room looks a bit cold in its current lilac. Obviously that wont be for a few months yet

Got the kitchen and bathroom to do first.

I am chilling at home today which is nice. Except I need to go to bank and get loads of money out because we are hopefully buying a new car tomorrow

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/09/2008 09:30

Sorry GYo, forgot to answer your question to me, I think I am going to go with the Barn Yard stuff, still looking longingly at the Zanzibar but I do think the BY will be better in terms of colours and matching other things in with it.

Dal, TBH the table never got used for much other than a junk collecting area, the kids have a small table and chairs that they eat at/colour at/do whatever they do at, and we usually eat on the sofa Though must admit as my belly is getting bigger and my plate further away, I am having a few food fallen down top fiascos....

Right I am off into town now, see you all in a bit xxx

Dalrymps · 12/09/2008 09:22

Just popping in to say morning, got to take ds to his appointment with the dietician.

tink - hope you're happy with your eyebrows when they're done

GYo - hope you get the painting done soon, I spent all last summer painting and never want to see a paint brush again! I found tiredness eased in 2nd trimetser but can't quite remember when that starts?! The weeing never eased for me but i'm normally always weeing even when not preggers!

NJ - sorry you've lost your dining room but thats a lovely thing to have done

Have a nice day everyone, family visiting this weekend so appologies if I don't get on much x

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 12/09/2008 09:14

Oooooh, I had completely forgotten about the other thread

I think the weeing depends on where the baby is, some babies stay high (so less pressure on bladder, more on ribs/lungs - which is a bugger in itself) some are lower so weeing loads is the result.

Tiredness stops when the baby has left home, or so I'm told!

If it is excessive weeing or tiredness, mention it to your MW because weeing lots can be a sign of UTI (but certainly not always) and the tiredness can be down to lack of iron etc. But mostly these things are just part and parcel of being pregnant/a mum!

Your baby will deffo be moving about now, jumping and turning around, it is normal to feel the pressure of the baby on other organs, but not actually feel the baby moving.

Cat bought a bird in this morning and I feel sorry for the bird, but then feel even more sorry for myself having to get rid of it! It is lovely to see birds flying about and what not but once they have been dragged in my house half eaten, they make my skin crawl. Also it must have had something wrong with it in the first place for our cat to be able to catch it, she has a load of bells on her collar, and she actually isn't very good at stalking things out, so the bird must have been hurt or whatever in the first place.

Photos went well, have never seen the side of DS2's head from so many different angles.....

tinkhasanactivebean · 12/09/2008 08:33

morning

lol cal yep i acan be a shopaholoc what better therapy
just off to take dd to nursery then having eyebrows done

GYo · 12/09/2008 08:29

Quick Q that probably should be on the other thread but its so quiet over there....

when might the weeing a lot/ tiredness start to get better? 14wks next tuesday and the weeing is now worse than ever....

Strangely I can feel the pressure getting better/worse as I guess the beany moves about.... maybe I am imagining that....
