SesQal · 29/08/2008 20:16

Thanks.... Will do!

GYo · 29/08/2008 20:15

Ah ok... I forget that I have luxury of huge offices with rows of loos to do such things in early in the morning..

Well, good luck and let us know either way...

Tbh will probably be easier to do it at home first as DH will probably stay asleep and he won't know anything about it until/if I'm sure there's a bfp.

At work there'll just be me and one other member of staff tomorrow in a very small shop!

GYo · 29/08/2008 20:11

Can you wee in bottle and take it to work and do the FR in private?

I did that as I didnt want DH knowing I was testing and breathing down my neck... sounds a bit selfish but also too rush out of it as I was leaving house at 6.30am.

SesQal · 29/08/2008 20:09

I guess I'm just so used to my body letting me down that I'm trying to look for another reason for the line. I feel like I should be really happy and yelling HONK!

I'm going to be sensible though and wait for the morning. Only thing is I have to go to work tomorrow morning. Will be leaving home at about 7.30 and not getting back til about 3. Will have to make sure I set my alarm v promptly!

GYo · 29/08/2008 20:05

ooh just seen- 10 DPO....
definately not too early to test...esp with an FR

OP posts:
SesQal · 29/08/2008 20:04

9dpo only...

GYo · 29/08/2008 20:04

ooh Ses, just logged on- all sounds very promising... how many dpo are you now?

OP posts:
SesQal · 29/08/2008 20:03

Thanks

I think the FR is the only answer but don't want to waste it using it too early (I'll be 10dpo)...

I guess I can always go buy another...

lardybump · 29/08/2008 19:59

Do the FR in the morning first thing, that will tell you for sure. Oh I am so excited for you now.

SesQal · 29/08/2008 19:51

No - it didn't give the option to collect. Only to poas... it definitely has a pink tinge... I'm only 9dpo according to Fertility Friend.

lardybump · 29/08/2008 19:49

Do you still have the wee left from other test?

SesQal · 29/08/2008 19:48

I'm shaking and feel like crying.

Don't want to tell DH as he will just get his hopes up. This happened before when I was between mc and ?2nd mc / redo of first op and he got sooo excited.

SesQal · 29/08/2008 19:47

I have a FR upstairs....

lardybump · 29/08/2008 19:46

well it does sound like a bfp because evap lines are usually grey.... Oh ses how exciting. You have to tell dh and say that you need him to go out and get a FR to do in the morning as they dont get evap lines....

SesQal · 29/08/2008 19:44

It is one I got from Glaskham. Didn't notice a brand so think it is an internet one. It says it measures 20mui(??!)

The control line is a v v dark pink and the other line is a v v v v faint pink.

lardybump · 29/08/2008 19:42

Right does it have any colour to it and what test is it?

SesQal · 29/08/2008 19:35

Not sure about telling you this at the moment as it may all be ny head or my body messing with me...

I had a long drive home from work today (about 1.5hrs) and spent most of it symptom spotting - lack of appetite, tender boobs, low down cramping pains etc. I persuaded myself by the end that it was all in my head. Then first thing DH said to me was "Can we have one of those?" as the awful C&G advert was on. I thought "To hell with it!" and went upstairs to do a hpt as I'd not had a wee for about 6 hrs.

The leaflet said check after 3 minutes and if nothing, leave it another minute.

After 5 minutes I could see a v v v faint line. I've tried taking photos of it to post but it is v v faint and in any case I'm not sure how to post a photo from my phone.

I haven't even told DH yet as I don't want us to start getting excited only to be let down. I'm sure I can see a v v v faint line but don't know if it could be an evap line - what is one of those???!

lardybump · 29/08/2008 19:34

Yes it is when the wee evaporates causing a dull line in the box. It only happens with some tests not all.... And it appears well after the time limit...

SesQal · 29/08/2008 19:32

Hmmmm.....

Is there anyone about who can tell me what causes evap lines and what exactly are they.....???

lardybump · 29/08/2008 19:31

Yep cosmo I am totally free of it now. It stopped at about 13weeks... I am 14 now... It is lovely when it happens I am like a new (FAT) woman....

Cosmogirl · 29/08/2008 19:15

Real egg whites - yummy! Is your sickness all gone now LB? How many weeks are you? Give me hope and say 'yes'!!!

lardybump · 29/08/2008 18:23
