Hello

All the vibes (or something, maybe my pleading) worked! No consultants for me, at least not yet Can't tell you how pleased/relieved I am! MW seemed a bit shaky about the HB though, it happened to be the same MW that booked my last HB, and she actually remembered it went out of the window with the pre-eclampsia, so she said we won't book it yet (they wouldn't do anyway) but will see how things go and if all is well at 36/37 weeks they'll look at booking it then, but I might have to go to the consultants at that point to get them to OK it, not the end of the world because I know I can still go for the HB with the irritable uterus, so that isn't a problem, it is just keeping my BP down, which depending on how bad the IU get's could be tricky, but I'll do my best! Probably won't help that 36/37 weeks is right in the run up to xmas, I think some very good organising might have to start so I'm not run off my feet at that point.

Anyway, enough about me, how is everyone? Porridge sounds good but the muffins (and the sit down, and the coffee!) were winking at me and I couldn't resist...

Just bought DS1 an Etch-a-Scetch OMG the memories!! LOL He has an electronic version of it that plugs into his telly but this is the proper old fashioned no gimmicks one Can you guess what I'll be doing tomorrow while he is at school?!

clairey80 · 02/09/2008 15:09

GYo · 02/09/2008 15:02

clairey80 · 02/09/2008 14:34

well, last visit from AF started 22nd Aug, so have been madly at it for the last week, last cycle was 27/28 days, am i trying at the right time??!!

Dalrymps · 02/09/2008 13:57

Hey ladies,

I agree Diege, go for it!

Does anyon who's temping know what your temp is supposed to do around the time of your AF?
Is it supposed to stay hi throughout the AF then drop off again or drop just before AF back to the lower range?

Just wondering, my AF due today and temp still high.

calsworld · 02/09/2008 13:26

Diege - you better pull your knickers down socks up! I want you GOF'ing tonight regardless - ttc is not always as textbook as we like to think it is, besides you'll regret it if you don't give it one last go for this month.

Diege · 02/09/2008 12:26

Afternoon! Back in the office so just popping on to say hello. EWM now gone , so looks like it's next month now for me. Will have a GOF tonight anyway, but heart not really in it (that's bad isn't .
Catch up proerly later and hopefullt post this evening .

GYo · 02/09/2008 11:40

Cal - ahh so it was you, thought it might have been...

I cooked it then let it set a bit in the bowl before adding the sugar and milk. I've got golden vanilla sugar which makes a really nice flavour....

morning all!! been busy on here this morning!!

I ended up ordering the playhouse and seesaw for the kids xmas pressies...

Just waiting for my tesco food delivery to come now... i ordered it to come between 12 and 2pm, and they normally come bang on the beginning of the slot so hoping i have it here in time for lunch or its toasted bagels for lunch!!

I really really fancy a pot noodle though so i went to the corner shop and bought one for when the kids eat their tea, DH isn't home till 9pm so it'll be my snack to keep me going till he's home.

the maternity crops i'm wearing today are just making me look fat too so i feel a bit gutted!! I have a lovely maternity dress that looks great on but awful on the coat-hanger and it makes my bump look fantastic, i love it and it only cost £2 from next!! same as the dress i'm wearing for my mums party at the weekend, another £2 next bargain and it looks fab, its a soft gold with a big chunky gold belt that fastens above my bump, and makes me look fab!!- listen to me going on about my maternity clothes already, only 7+1 today and in maternity clothing!!

Dalrymps · 02/09/2008 10:31

Morning ladies,

Far too much has happened since I last posted!

Ive missed the porridge and has jam on toast i'm afraid.

Tink - I think it was you that said you felt kicks, how exciting!

Cal - My dreams always make me have a go at dh! Sometimes I dream he's being a right dick or he's cheated on me and i'm grumpy as hell when I wake up!

Glask - Glad you've got something for your sickness!

Ses - Can't wait till you try the new test, I know you already got your BFP but i'm curious as to what it's all about.

Nj - Sending vibes for youe MW appointment!

Back later x

calsworld · 02/09/2008 09:49

GYo - that's my porridge heaven, cold milk around the edge. It only works if you've cooked it long enough that when you scoop it up, it stays nearly solid! Perfect with brown sugar.

Maybe I'll go have a bowl, thinking about it.

calsworld · 02/09/2008 09:46

I'm at home at the moment, clouds are beginning to gather outside - you wicked people sending them my way .

I'm at home, DH is working from home today too, DS was supposed to have a swimming lesson this morning but DH has turned up with DS and there's no-one else there.

We had a lot of heavy rain yesterday, I'm hoping it will stay away a bit longer - its just too miserable and DS hates being cooped up inside all the time. Not that he's here, he's at nursery, its more fun for him there and better for him to be in a structured routine, but he loves playing outside on all their toys. They said he was quite weepy yesterday, needing lots of cuddles to get through the day...my poor little boy. I think its because he's overtired and also because the weekend was quite disruptive. PIL are very lovely but have no clue as to the impact of taking a little boy out of his routine. He didn't get his bedtime routine on either night that we were there and he was off his food.

I'm rambling aren't I .

DH is home, gonna go and put the kettle on and investigate the bread machine

GYo · 02/09/2008 09:25

Yummy porridge- who was recommending making it then adding cold milk and eating from around the edge?

I did that today and was fantastic

SesHasapinkline · 02/09/2008 08:53

Will probably do the all singing all dancing CBD tomorrow morning.
Stil raining here but I guess if it's stopped where you are maybe it'll stop here soon...

GYo · 02/09/2008 08:45

Morning all

Nat- good luck with MW... Im on my way with a sandwich board and a loud speaker thing....

Cal- i always think that the hormones affect dreams and then your reactions to it...can imagine that dreams about babies are upsetting though. hopefully as your hormones get back to normal you will feel better.

Ses- good luck with the interviewing and update us about the test as and when you do it.

Finally stopped raining here for now- but still murky looking. Im working at home AGAIN as im collecting my DH from hospital after a knee operation- so he will be hobbling about for a couple of weeks

Right- off to make some wagon porridge. Will make extra if anyone is hungry.

Morning everyone else

SesHasapinkline · 02/09/2008 08:19

Morning Cal!

V understandable to be a bit stroppy and not suprised your dream rocked your boat. I remember having dreams about babies and about other people being pg and at the time it all seems so real and then you wake up to reality.

Have you got anything planned for today or is it a sofa, crap tv and MN day??!

Clear blue skies?? I've got the heavy rain like GYo!

I guess I'd best get going. I'm doing another interview today. Let's hope it's more worthwhile than the one I did yesterday. She wanted a job as a pharmacist store manager but didn't want to work any Saturdays! I know working weekends is a pain but it's kind of what you sign up for when you work in retail! I even offered her every other Saturday but she refused!

calsworld · 02/09/2008 08:02

Morning. Clear blue skies here.

I've been sleeping very heavily which appears to go against the rules, even sleeping through DS waking up so DH has been going to him (and I know he's not just pretending as I keep waking up with DS in the bed!). Its nice not to have the 4.30 wakings anymore .

Been more than a bit stroppy at DH this morning, I've shouted at him twice already . Don't know where that's come from really. I had a dream we had another baby last night and it was all a bit of a surprise - we were really unprepared and we couldn't find DS' baby car seat in the attic . I think that's what rocked my boat a little this morning.

Anyway, I'd best go and have a shower - I haven't had one since Sunday and the cleaners are due at 8.30.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 02/09/2008 07:51

Morning

Ses agree with Diege about this new test, get it over and done with (and tell us all the details, I will never use one, so I need to know the deal!) Also great news about the house

Gruff, hope the hot chocolate settled your erm..... tummy LOL That did make me chuckle!

OK so MW today at 10.10, so from about 10.10 till 11.10 can you all send 'no consultants for Nat' vibes please. In fact anyone who has a spare couple of hours, you could make placards and camp outside the room, pleaseeeeeeee!! Aside from anything else, if they sign me up to the consultants, and they don't sign me back off before the birth, there is no way I'll get the home birth approved, and I really need to.

Spose I'd better go and get ready, DS1 is back to school tomorrow, we are spending his last day in Blackburn shopping so will be gone most of the day, hope everyone has a good day xxx (Don't forget the placards/vibes!!)

GYo · 02/09/2008 07:09
