Can we add Safestyle UK to the wagon's room 101? If they knock on my door one more time this week I think I might put him through the sodding window grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! How many times do you have to politely say "no thanks" before slamming the door in their face?

Oh and TalkTalk, they keep bloody ringing, good job we have caller ID I can just ignore it, but they rang 4 times in a row yesterday, for what? Just incase I suddenly realised the forth time that I actually want to change to them? "I'd like to save you money" "No thanks, I'm rich enough to afford BT"

Diege · 05/09/2008 09:50

Hi GYO, you never know, it might have stopped by then
OK Nat, will let you off on the xmas front then . Double buggies deffo in there, also that buttock clenching DFS advert where they all mime to that rockstar song .
Right, better get dressed in case parcelforce van arrives.

GYo · 05/09/2008 09:35

Morning Diege, Dal, Ses, tink

Sorry about AF Dal- but as Diege says, you know where you are and can plan the GOF marathon for a couple of weeks time!

Cal- I've got cal-style porridge here again today. Really yum. Think you should trade mark that Cal!

Tink- hope DD enjoys today.

Diege- good move to avoid wet weather... not looking forward to walking miles across hospital carpark in rain with a DH on crutches...

OP posts:
NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 05/09/2008 09:34

LMAO, don't forget double buggies, that dusty stuff and BD'ing.

In all seriousness I do need to start it soon-ish, I want it all done for DS2's bday (beginning of Dec.) am not doing the crowds and fights in Woolies at 35+ weeks pregnant!

Diege · 05/09/2008 09:31

No Nat don't start the Xmas shopping!!! It will only make the rest of us feel guilty, and if you start now you'll carry on till Xmas anyway...have I convinced you yet? . I think we should have a room 101 for the wagon..so first things in are Nat's Xmas list and SES's HPTS!!!!!!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 05/09/2008 09:23

Thanks for the thoughts everyone Think I am just going to spend the day lazing round, and using it as an excuse to veg for a bit! Can't do any harm can it?!

Sorry for your period Dal, sounds like your plan is a good'un though Rex is a very big prick, but TBH, if he hadn't have been there over the last few weeks, it wouldn't have been worth watching. They went wrong getting rid of Luke and Rebecca IMO. As bloody annoying and cringe worthy as they were, it was certainly never boring with them in there!

Think I might do some shopping, just don't know what to get LOL Should I start on DS2's birthday and christmas? It is September now, and I have seen xmas stuff in shops, so it has to be OK to start it now, doesn't it?

But, where the hell am I going to hide it all till xmas?

Diege · 05/09/2008 09:15

Hi DAL! Sorry about af, but at least you know where you are. Your plans sound good too . Agree, Rex is a prick!

Diege · 05/09/2008 09:13

Morning . Hope dd enjoys nursery today TINKS - is it full day or half?
NAT, I think 'thoughts' as opposed to something concrete are perfect if that feels right for you. It is a sad day, so take it easy and do what feels best. I'm sure being pregnant doesn't lessen the sadness, but maybe some comfort? I don't know, many people want to be pregnant by due date (me included) after mc, but obviously don't know yet how it must feel to have the first date pass. I'll be thinking of you anyway .
SES, as other have said, perfectly natural to feel as you do - in fact would be odd not to have some level of anxiety. What has always helped me when I worry is to think in 'day tight compartments'- something I read in Dale Carnegie's famous book on 'How to Stop Worrying and Start Living'. Might be worth a read? I have to admit I'm quite enjoying the respite from worry in my ttc bubble, though no doubt will start with the worry if BFP doesn't happen!
Have abandoned plans for today as weather is the pits - really heavy rain, not even risking PO today!
Enjoy yout scan GYO, and look forward to hearing all about it

Dalrymps · 05/09/2008 09:05

Morning ladies

Got my AF today to definately not pg! I've decided (for now) i'm going to go to the gym lots and try and get myself in shape a bit more before ttc. I know it'll all go to pot once I am pg but I read something somewhere about being fit helping pregnancy and labour so thought i'd give it a shot.

In some ways I really want to go for it and ttc now but the reasons I ahve for waiting are valid (for me) and I think I should listen to my logical side. I think it's mostly to do with the fact that ds wasn't planned as such so I really feel like this time I want to do it 'properly' and plann every little detail just because I didn't get to last time iyswim.

Anyway, enough about me!

GYo - Don't work too hard today, good luck for the scan, very exciting, can't wait to see the pics!

NJ - I'm not sure about what to do about the date as I haven't experienced a mc. I think if it was me I would probably just write down the thoughts I am having about it in a journal just to clear my head and record my thoughts and feelings itswim. Not for everyone though and you're kind of doing that on here aren't you?!

Hi tink

Dh is addicted to BB but he is VERY annoyed at the thought that Rex might win, he hates him! I think he's a prick too.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 05/09/2008 08:44

LOL Yep, she really isn't pregnant! I think it has one of the shortest for a few years (might be wrong though), but I think it always seem to drag by if you've not taken much notice of it. We only started watching it on about BB4 I think, so all the years before that it seemed to go on forever!

Tink, hope she has a good day

tinkhasanactivebean · 05/09/2008 08:33

morning

just popping in quickly before we take dd to nursery

GYo · 05/09/2008 08:26

Not rambling- sounds like a good solution, do what feels comfortable.
Just remember you can talk or "think outloud" about it here anytime...

This is the first year I've not seen any BB.... is it me or has it gone on for much longer than normal?

And is Davina really NOT pregnant this time!?

OP posts:
NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 05/09/2008 08:14

I'm not sure, I don't know if I even want to mark it, it should have been full of thoughts of the births and just how overdue I was going to be, and how quickly the labour was going to be over with etc. It feels like to be thinking of those thoughts now is cheating because I'll have all of that to come in December/January. It doesn't feel 'right' in my head to be sad about it, because it is still going to happen. And if we marked it, when does it stop? Do we mark next Sept 5th? What about the one after? What about in 30 years time? But then, it isn't as if I am going to forget it, so it will always be marked by at least thoughts I suppose.

Sorry

GYo · 05/09/2008 07:32

Morning Nat- thanks, will definately post pictures....

On the date today, Im certainly no expert on m/c due dates but feeling odd must be completely normal.
Can you do anything to mark the day? at least something nice for yourself and DH.... Either way will be thinking of you...

Woman next door, who is like Monica from friends regarding cleaning, is hoovering. It started at 7.20am. I think thats plain rude myself!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 05/09/2008 07:23

Morning all

Ses agree with everything Cal and everyone were saying last night, it is absolutely completely normal to feel so worried and scared, there is always a fair amount of worriedness when pregnant, but it is 1000 times more when you have a history. Also agree about getting a scan ASAP, they will be able to tell you if everything is looking well, even if it is too early to see a HB. The most important thing you can do is take it easy, take time off work if you feel you can, make sure evenings and weekend are as relaxed as possible, don't push yourself in any way.

GYo, good luck for this afternoon - how exciting And we must have pics (realises I still haven't put my 20 week ones on )

How is everyone today? I think it is going to be a bit of an odd day today. The baby I MC'ed in Jan would have been due today, not really sure how I feel or how I should be feeling. Answers on a postcard please! At least it is Friday, so very nearly the weekend, not that it really matters, DH is on call so weekend is out of the window, but still, it is the thought that counts - or so they tell me!!

Ooooooooh and BB final tonight, not sure who will win. Am kind of edging for Sarah I think.
