had one for dd bought in 2005

will this seat fit onto the quinny

GYo · 05/09/2008 17:47

Thanks Diege and everyone else..

Think Iced water might be better next time... while nice 500ml of real coke and a twirl made me feel rather green on the way home!

Diege · 05/09/2008 17:38

Wow GYO those are amazing!!! It's great to get peace of mind, and you'll have a wonderful weekend now that you've had such a great scan . Oh and on caffeine front my midwife used to advise a cup of coffee and choocy bar if movements weren't too frequent ; certainly worked, poor thing went crazy, but found iced water equally as effective (though not half as tasty)
SES, weekend plans sound brilliant!
We're planning on going to farmers market in town tomorrow, but am thinking twice after looking at weather forcast!

SesHasapinkline · 05/09/2008 17:24

We had our wedding reception at a vineyard - was beautiful and the wine didn't run out!!

GYo · 05/09/2008 17:23

LOL cool...

Slightly tempted now in 2nd trimester....

DH and I are off to a charity black and white ball tomorrow night!
Bought a new dress a few weeks ago and it's quite tight around the middle.... I'm feeling quite bloated so hope that it fits and isn't uncomfortable!

I can't tell you how great those pictures look. It really brings home to me how worth all the stress and tears are to be able to have this longed for baby. Congratulations

GYo · 05/09/2008 17:02

Lol re fantastica!

thanks Ses

Have you got weekend plans?

OP posts:
SesHasapinkline · 05/09/2008 17:00

They are really clear GYo - definitely fanatastica!

calsworld · 05/09/2008 17:00

GYo, what a lovely picture that top one is - so clear! You must be very happy, I'm really pleased for you .

Great news on the nuchal too - a bit surprised at them telling you to take caffeine to get the baby moving again! I've not heard of that before...

I've been at DS' nursery for an hour or so playing with him there, it was really nice, the staff and other kids were lovely too - and I saw DS' friends mum too so was able to set up a 'playdate' for next weekend, we're off to a big playbarn place. Felt a bit when I had to admit I hadn't been to any of the ones in our area with DS...but I didn't think it was that normal to go nearly every week either!

SesHasapinkline · 05/09/2008 16:59

WOW!!!!!!!

GYo · 05/09/2008 16:52

added two pictures....

OP posts:
Diege · 05/09/2008 16:24

Excellent news GYO!! . Didn't realise you were having nuchal - always a bit nerve wracking! Hu TINKS, lovce the sound of those sheets - very cute! -
Well we are finally back in from school after having to return for dd2's sodding lunchbox and despite waterproofs and umbrellas are still wet through! Poor dd3 had a few inches of water in her wellies despite having waterproof trousers and coat wqith trousers over boots . Anyway, on home stretch now - roll on their bedtime!

GYo · 05/09/2008 16:21

GYo - that's fantastic!! Or should I say fanatastica!!???

GYo · 05/09/2008 16:04

Hello Everyone

Back from scan. Everything is fine and my nuchal measurement worked out as low risk (they dont do triple test yet in my hosp) at 1:2589.

The little bean- though not really a bean anymore, was jumping all over the place till they tried to measure it then it slumped and wouldnt move so i got sent off to firstly have a wee (massive relief) then when that didnt work I had to go off for caffiene and sugar to try and get it moving!

Anyway- so relieved, actually almost feel shocked.. DH is scanning in the pics as I type so will upload in a moment!

Sorry for me me me post, will now catch up
with everyone ones news!

Yes, thanks, I am non-stinkified

Havr just spent ages wiping philidelphia (sp?) off ds as he would rather play with his dinner than eat it

Right off to get ready to actually leave the house cause I ahve to get flour to make a pie.

Back later, can't wait to hear about the scan!!!

GruffaloSoldier · 05/09/2008 13:35

Morning all!

After a days let up of sickness yesterday which sent me in to a panic it appears to be back with avengeance today

I just got home from a morning's nannying to a letter from the hospital to say that I have a scan on Tues at 9am How exciting!

LOL at the hiding behind the tumbleweeds!

Diege I am also plucking up the courage to brave the rain but I just can't bring myself to do it! Its pouring grrr!

calsworld · 05/09/2008 13:34

Hey everyone - I'm now de-stinkified!

What have you bought for DS NJ? I'm stuck for ideas and his birthday seems to be coming round really quick. We didn't spend much on him last year so will probably splurge a bit more this time around.

Also, last year we had a party for him and his 'friends' from swimming at our house, not really sure I could manage that this time around! Too many climbers etc!

SesHasapinkline · 05/09/2008 12:56

Hi Diege!
Meant to say thanks for the book recommendation. I'm going to have a look as I think I'll need something!
Still raining here too!
Have managed to wangle working from home today and am currently watching crappy Music and Lyrics! Mindless fun!
