OP posts:
glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 10/09/2008 13:35

2BGAAB- mine too!! for DS i had a name list and i had about 20 names for a girl and about 12 for a boy... DH liked 1 for girls and 2 for boys!!

2beautifulgalsandabean · 10/09/2008 13:20

I love your names tink, but DH wouldn't.
I have a list somewhere of names i have picked up and liked since TTC and before. I know at least 2 thirds of them will be dismissed immediately

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 10/09/2008 13:08

ooh tink- i too am loving your names.. the sort of names i'd choose if i didn't have DH to think about!! we do like plain traditional names really, nothing too out of the ordinary, but nothing too common...

though i've gotten my own way for a girls name this time (if it is a girl)... we had half an hour a week or so ago where we didn't like it and i thought i liked Isabel, but then realised it didn't sound too good with our surname!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 10/09/2008 13:04

its defo not 3 2BGAAB!!! dont think i'd cope with 5 kids!!! and yes we'll be finding out the sex- i'm too nosey to not know whats happening inside there!! i think its a boy, so hopefully i'll be proved right for the 3rd time!!

Diege- sickness isn't too bad at the moment, though i'm waiting to hear tomorrow about another prescription of the medicine, then it normally has to be the next day before i get it, so i'm on rations until friday i think!!

Diege · 10/09/2008 12:37

Lovely names TINKS . Love Willow for a girl - was on our list but surname is Wood so a bit - sounded too much like a place! Ditto Chester!

Diege · 10/09/2008 12:35

Afternoon! Pretty busy at work, so probably my only post of the day before tonight.
Woo-hoo, well done Cals on your running - very inspiring! Glad you feel good too - hold onto that feeling if you feel your will-power waning .
Great bump GLASK! How's your sickness at the moment?
TINKS -Sounds a nice day . Love the bits Next has in at the moment - got dd3 a cute green pinafore with matching stripey tights and top from there last week and it looks v.sweet.
2BG, 3 girls are great! Agree about not finding out sex at scan if dh would be disappointed. My dh says he wasn't but he was hoping for a boy third time round - better that they don't have 20 weeks to stew in it and just fall in love with their newborn!
Right, better get on! xx

emlou84 · 10/09/2008 12:35

glask your MASSIVE!!! nit sure about 2 in there maybe 3!!!

we found out with both boys and think will find sex out again.

i cant stop peeing {blush] i go to toilet and within half hour need to go again!!
just taking DS1 to school then my friedn coming round this afternoon who is also TTC DC3, we were due on same day with DC2!! and i had josh day before she had her DD!

speak later x x

tinkhasanactivebean · 10/09/2008 12:33

yep we like :-

willow for a girl

chester for a boy

2beautifulgalsandabean · 10/09/2008 11:49

How is the sickness Glask? Hvae you had a date for 12 week scan yet? Will you find out the sex at 20 weeks?
Tink, think should would be happy with any of the things you choose. When DD2 was born we bought ~DD1 something to give to baby and something from baby to her, plus we ordered her a t-shirt with her name and Big sister in little diamontes on the front.
Have you any names yet Tink?
I really don't want to find out the sex of my bean. As i really want to surprise last two i knew. And if it was another girl i know DH would be gutted. Whereas when the baby arrived and it was a girl he would just love her the same. I really don't mind, of course would like a little boy but i can see myself with 3 girls

tinkhasanactivebean · 10/09/2008 11:42

i think i will definetly get dd dolls mansion think she will love it want to get something big as bay due after xmas

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 10/09/2008 11:27

thanks 2BGAAB... you're not the first to say more than one in there!! was showing a bit with DD at about 10wks, with DS i was showing at my 12wk scan a bit but only because i'd lost so much weight that i had nothing but bump on me!!

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 10/09/2008 11:25

haha tink- i feel huge already- i look at myself in the mirror each night as i get ready for bed and feel i've grown out by an inch a day!! haha!! i did have some flab on my tummy from the other 2 DC's, but thats almost solid across my bump already!!

i've got the same sort of list of jobs as you today aswell tink!! i've hoovered, washed pots... DS is off nursery as he has some blistering on his lip that looks nasty, he got it a lot last 2 terms at nursery so think he picks it up from there!!

2beautifulgalsandabean · 10/09/2008 11:22

Hi tink
The mansion does look good aswell, as in the last 6 months DD1 has taken any interest in barbies and now has a collection of them, the mansion looks good for them.
So have you decided what to get for her yet?

2beautifulgalsandabean · 10/09/2008 11:20

Glask!!!!!! I'm sure you have a couple of beans in there, you look massive for 8 weeks!
Did you get big quick with the other 2?

Hoping mine will stay concealed for a little while!

tinkhasanactivebean · 10/09/2008 11:19

wow look @ you glas i was big then too.

2bgs i am thinking about xmas pressys to for dd who will be 3 years and four months @ xmas.
looking @ getting elc dolls mansion looks lovely.
i dropped dd @ nursery then went to next and bought her small peppa pig bag for nursery and long sleeved peppa pig pjs then did tesco shopping.
just have washing up and loundge to hoover then picking her up again

glaskhamhasoneintheoven · 10/09/2008 11:03

have put a pic of my 8week old bump on my profile!!

emlou84 · 10/09/2008 11:01

2BG yes i did my last test on 1st september and was negative. yes i had some spotting 2 weeks ago which ive now put down to implantation bleeding. i have felt sick with some smells and been over toilet a few times!

2beautifulgals · 10/09/2008 10:54

Thanks for taking pity on me cal
Will take a look at that article thank you.
Well done on the run, i have begun my 2 hour walks a day agin since DD1 started back at school. its half hour each way! Does make me feel better.

Emlou my 2 DD's are 4 and 2 aswell. Strange about the conception indicator, have you done any tests previous to yesterdays? Perhaps you ovulated later than you thought? Did you say previously that you had a funny bleed sometime?

I am starting to feel sick already!!! Got mild nausea with both DD's but not until about 5 weeks and surpressed with sickness bands. I have been heaving at all the smells in the kitchen and i'm not even 4 weeks. I hope its not a sign of what is to come.

emlou84 · 10/09/2008 10:32

cal you'll have to re post the list my age is 24yrs not 27yrs!!

2bg my boys r 4 and 2 they both birthdays in june

by my LMP think my due date will be 07/05/09. but will have to see what doctor says on friday with the CBD only say 1-2 weeks but my AF was due on the 28th august so i would say that would make me 6 weeks tomoro.

just waiting for the postie as got some stuff coming from ebay!!

calsworld · 10/09/2008 10:24

Will you be all proud of me? I went on the first run last night using the 'week one' podcast as my buddy. It was really, really good. Just enough encouragement to keep me going and keep me company, but not so much that he turned into an overenthusiastic Mr Motivator! My legs are a bit sore today despite doing the warm up and down to the dot, think I'll need to do some stretching too. (Bum is bloody killing too!)

Next run is tomorrow.

Now I've worked out how to download podcasts, I'm going to have a bit of a rummage around there too. I've got Asda delivering this morning and some pillowcases to make this afternoon (can you tell the tidying etc has been put right to the bottom of the list? )

calsworld · 10/09/2008 10:16

I've sent the email....

calsworld · 10/09/2008 10:13

2BG, I'll take pity on you , I'm glad you're excited! Sounds like your DH is pleased too.

I found this article about minimum age for flying, don't know if its any help at all.

No problem i can post some out to you.
e-mail me your address amy.jayne at talkalk.net

2beautifulgals · 10/09/2008 10:06

So thinking about what to get DD's for xmas, we don't want loads of stuff cause of the move but still want a few things they will enjoy and can take with them. Thinking about getting DD1 the Vtech digi camera. But i do love the Rosebud house from ELC!!! But we have already bought her for xmas a wooden dolls house from Studio with her name on it. Thinking i might have to get DD2 one as well because they will just fight!!!
