hi yf, will prob be joining the new thread on Sat when AF arrives

lily, that plan sounds good although now i'm panicking we may have done it too much this month as she recommends not to do it every nght. Oh well, at least it kept DH happy

rosyleecupoftea · 25/09/2008 11:47

lillypie the "sperm meets egg" plan is really interesting and very sensible! Not sure I've done the thing frequently enough this month. Will find out on the 3rd Oct. If I'm not preggers this month I'll try and follow that plan next month.

lillypie · 25/09/2008 11:00

Good morning ladies just popping in to say hi

I'm CD 8 today so the dance begins again lol

Going to be giving this a try this month.

Good luck to everyone who is testing soon

LollysMum1 · 25/09/2008 10:51

Wishing - hope the line gets stronger soon! I did another test first thing this morning and it was BFN - I was going cross eyed trying to see a +. Hope I'm not making excuses but I've got some flu like bug and taking laxative which the doc gave me (hopefully caused by pregnancy) so maybe the result is affected. Fingers crossed xx

yellowflowers · 25/09/2008 10:42

I've started a July thread if anyone fancies joining in...

oh yellowflowers, I'm so sorry to hear your AF has arrived

It's so unfair that our bodies play these tricks on us and make us believe we're pregnant !! I personally am having every symptom under the sun and I know it's going to hit me hard on Sat when Af turns up !

yellowflowers · 25/09/2008 08:59

I'm out. Metallic taste all yesterday afternoon and evening - thought I was going to throw up was so bad, then today woke up with proper spotting so AF def on way, and feel all periody too. Burst into tears this morning and still feel rubbish. Metal taste was so horrid am sure not just figment of imagination. Feel really lousy.

Wishing · 24/09/2008 21:45

Thank you MrsMcJnr and everyone else - i know a line is a line but it was a so very very faint - i will get more excited when it is a bit stronger - hope to see it in a day or two!! Lollysmum sounds like you got something similar to me! in have my fingers crossed for you too

i will keep in touch

xxxxxxxxxx

Hello dafty here decided to test on 11dpo at 4.30pm after a bottle of water BFN and feel really silly for testing now, at least it was an internet cheapie! Now I?m imagining I see a very faint line but I am sure it is an evaporation line and it is at least 4mins old now if not more?.no more testing until Sat, promise!!

Waiting ? still might not be over hon ? fingers crossed but if it?s not to be this cycle, that?s good news about the appointment

Yellowflowers ? feeling for you, it?s a horrible game wondering?..

Good for you Funkybumps!!

Wishing ? FAB!! A line is a line?.. hope it is stronger tomorrow!

LollysMum1 ? congrats hon! A line is a line no matter how faint (as long as it?s not too long after you take the test) wishing you a much stronger line tomorrow! Very sorry to hear about the MC my story is very similar to yours, I had a MC at 13 weeks (like you it was a complete one) I then had a long bleed and a 33 day cycle with a very short LP at the end and then I got pregnant with DS the next cycle, exactly 10 weeks after the MC happened.

VJ ? sounds interesting!!! you might get a BFP on 12dpo (62% do) but if you wait until Sat you?ll have an 80% chance!

Sorry LMM, missed that Q. Sensitivity of the cervix can definitely happen in early pregnancy, I had that on both previous occasions but like most early pg symptoms it can also happen around when AF is due hope it?s the former for you though!

VickyJane77 · 24/09/2008 14:47

Not experienced this sorry x

littlemissmischief · 24/09/2008 14:32

Hi all, posted this last night and not sure if it was missed or if no one has any idea but thought id repost just incase...

Can I ask another TMI question to all of those of you who have already been pg (i know i have too but cant remeber this bit) can being tender whilst BDing been a sign of being pg? Whilst doing the deed I feel very tender inside and especially at the top almost in my lower stomach if you know what I mean, and dont normally have this just wondered if anyone had this? Any help welcome

VickyJane77 · 24/09/2008 14:21

Wow, there seems to be a few faint BFP's coming in, I hope they turn into strong BFP lines over the next few days.
After my spotting and cramps yesterday, I've had nothing today, so my hopes are picking up a little. I really want to do a test, but I'll try and hold out til Saturday, I can't wait to use the freebie from Clearblue x
What is the earliest to do a test, I'm currently on CD27 of a 31 day cycle, and DPO 12?

LollysMum1 · 24/09/2008 13:11

Thank you Nika - I hope you're right. The line appeared after about 2-3 mins. I will test again tomorrow and cross everything in the meantime. Feeling sick and grotty at the moment but happy to feel this way if that's the reason why!!

madmarriedNika · 24/09/2008 12:23

Most faint lines are BFPs!! how soon did it appear? You can get an evaporation line but that usually wouldn't appear until about ten mins or so after doing the test...
I know quite a few friends who had very faint lines, were convinced it couldn't be a BFP, then a few days later tested again and got a strong line. Really hope that's the case for you...Maybe try again tomorrow with first morning wee, where the hormone's most concentrated.

I have a friend who was in a very similar situation too, early miscarriage, after bleeding finally stopped she had a "period" but not like her usual AF- then was pregnant the next month. Apparently your fertility is heightened after a MC.

I am so sorry though you had to go through a MC. Really hoping you get a strong BFP soon!

LollysMum1 · 24/09/2008 12:19

Me again, just pulled myself together and did a test. There was the faintest of faint lines - how faint can it be and still be BFP??!!

LollysMum1 · 24/09/2008 12:10

Hi, I feel like I'm jumping in quite late here - but here goes anyway. I had a miscarriage just over 8 wks ago and after bleeding for 3 wks (no ERPC or anything) I had some v light spotting 4 wks after it all started. Wasn't sure if that was my body's attempt at a period, but if it was AF was due Sun/Mon just gone. No sign and I have had pregnancy symptoms in the last 10 days or so - most notably feeling nauseous on and off and being constipated - so much so that i had to go to the doc this AM about it. His view was that its likely I am pregnant but being rather pathetic I'm scared to do the test!! Even more frustrating because I don't know if my body is back to normal and not sure if AF was even due a few days ago. Anyway, enjoying the symptom spotting and hoping I'm not imagining it!!

yellowflowers · 24/09/2008 10:41

oh - think it started - spotting!

Wishing · 24/09/2008 10:24

funkybumps · 24/09/2008 10:10

wishing, this sounds exciting. Will have everything crossed for you and hopefully you will come back from your break with a nice strong BFP

Wishing · 24/09/2008 10:09

hi guys not been on this thread but chatedd on a few others!

im still waiting for my af - 6 days late by end of today if i get there and going away tomorrow for a few days so really wanted to know!! ANYWAY -

i just did an asdas own test with fmu and there was the faintest faintest faintest line i have ever seen - dh was sure it was there im still not counting it as a bfp yet if it was there it was very very very very very faint! but will be testing again tomorrow!!

funkybumps · 24/09/2008 10:05

hi ladies, sorry to hear about your BFN's yellowflowers and waitingtoexhale

Jools1, that link is fab and perfect for an obsessed symptom spotter such as myself to thrive on.

Well, AF is due either Fri or Sat so I have decided to wait and see if it arrives before wasting anymore tests.

Jools1 · 24/09/2008 09:50

Yellowflowers and WaitingtoExhale - I really feel for both of you at the moment

I know when AF was late for me on a couple of cycles, I got excited and tested. I'm sure in those cases my body HAD been playing tricks but seeing the BFN made my body stop playing games and let AF start.

That is obviously not the case for you - good sign or not, who knows. Keeping everything crossed for you anyway
