Thanks yellowflowers
i dont know what to say hopfully you'll get there because my sister inlow had a normal period and she was pregnant in the same time, Dr told that she might produced more than one follicles that month and one of them survive with fertelising and the others desolved and came as a period so fingures crossed for you.
good luck

Jools1 · 29/09/2008 11:10

I think the general consensus recently is that those Boots tests are utter cr*p. I had problems with those ones, then resorted to the Clearblue as did at least one other person recently.

I'd go for a digital one for an unambiguous answer, or try Sainsburys ones - they are cheap but, IMO, easier to read.

Good luck

LollysMum1 · 29/09/2008 10:54

Hello, I'm still loitering on this thread because I'm still not sure if I'm preggers. Had a horrible bug/virus since last Weds and in that time have had 3 faint BFPs, the last of which was last night (first response). I had done a Clearblue digital just before that which was BFN but I am tellng myself it isn't sensitive enough. But then did another this morning first thing (Boots own)and was a BFN. Went to doc this AM re my bug and he wants me to take in a FMU sample tomorrow to be sent away for a lab test. What's going on??!! I definitely feel pregnant but I'm scared I've been getting false positives now!

yellowflowers · 29/09/2008 09:34

Sorry sans04 - sounds horrible. Thinking of you.

My heavy period stopped yesterday so lastest for 3 days altogether. But having had two very very very faint lines on tests on the weekend I now have nothing on test today so reckon it was cp.

Well, fingers crossed for July...

Sans04 · 29/09/2008 06:45

hello evryone again.
Sorry for been absence, I had a really bad time last couple of weeks ago, first my miscarage and I was bleeding for almost 7 days after some tratment (vacum)and cleaning from my Dr, and for my bad luk I am having a bad flue with another AF bleedinfg since saturday, i shocked and calld my docotor he said it's normal and i don't know how. any way Dr saing that i have to count saturday 27th as CD0, so that means that I am on cd2 now. he said my advice is to not TTC for the next 2 or 3 month but I don't think that I am going to listen to him and I said to him same.

vickyjane: big congratulation to you, I am very happy for you all the best with your pregnancy.

MrsMcJnr: big congratulation to you too, that's great, hope you get a very healthy pregnancy too.

Fingers crossed for all the others and all the best to evryone on the boared.

insywinsyspider · 28/09/2008 22:01

MrsMcJnr - hello and I've got 2 19 mo appart ith?

hello verykeenforabean! sorry didn't read any of the other posts before I made mine so didn't know where everyone was at, good to find u n dinky to share 2ww with as think I'm going to drive dh nuts, I'm not v good at waiting!

VeryKeenForABean · 28/09/2008 21:41

Thanks Tinker!

Interesting about the multi vits. I was taking Multi vits & iron, and folic acid separately, until I realised the multi vits had folic acid in too! Do you know if you can have too much of these things or if the body just excretes what it doesn't need?

Fingers crossed for those in the testing phase - I feel for you in the not knowing bit x

Bexaa & yellowflowers - thinking of you x

Insy & dinkey - we'll be on that 2ww together!

MrsMcJnr · 28/09/2008 21:11

Oh Funky and Mamamimi I?m sorry! All this best for this cycle!!

What a horrible time you are having Yellowflowers, I am so sorry, I don?t know how to help but do know how you feel, it took me 8 cycles to get pg before DS (and then I lost one before him) the only thing that kept me sane was talking to other MNetters and trying to try something different each cycle. It is so hard though to stay positive. My two sisters have PCOS so I understand a little about that too (I?ve never been tested) Just read your post ? interesting, you need to find Greedy she had similar when she was pg with her DD, had so much bleeding that none of us believed she was pg but she was and her DD is nearly 1 now. When was your last BFN?

Tinker ? don?t think like that about AF yet Interesting your discoveries looking back at charts, I often look back too. I too OV around cd17/18 and have a LP of around 10/11 days but that?s fine, as long as it?s at least 10 days, it?s long enough for the egg to implant. I?ve been taking pregnacare everyday since my wedding in June 2006!

Bexaa ? sorry to hear that hon hope things improve very soon xx

Dinkyboysmum ? sounds like you?ve got it well covered this cycle!

Hello Insy

We?ve had torrential rain here since around 3am on Sat morning ? so boring!!

Anyone got DC 16 months apart??

insywinsyspider · 28/09/2008 20:32

hello, hope I can join you - got +ve opks yesterday and today so feel like we're in with a chance although haven't had a temp drop yet - anyway I was hoping for some company for my 2ww...

yellowflowers · 28/09/2008 19:57

Hi,

I'm still on period but did another test today and the faintest of faint lines on a clear blue non digital. Am guessing if it is positive it's a cp that is ending as am on normal heavy period. Will do one with first wee tomorrow too just to check but it really is faint - I don't have to hold up to light but it is seriously barely there. I would take heart though, if also a line tomorrow, that our sperm and egg does work, just this one didn't stick.

Tinker1980 · 28/09/2008 18:40

AF is most definatley due. So have decided to look back at all my fertility info. I have found that I have an avg cd of 27 but I ovulate on day 17-18 which gives me a short luteal cycle. I never knew about until this today. This has prompted me to look back to the times I was pregnant. I have noticed that these were times when I had been taking preg multi vits instead of just folic acid. Luckily I have started taking my multi vits for this cycle, even though I ovulated on day 17 Af is late giving me a longer lp.

littlemissmischief good luck with the tww, I hope this is the month for you.

yellowflowers and mamamimi sorry to hear about AF.

Verykeanforabean Welcome, I have my fingers crossed for you.

vickyjane congrats on the BFP

yellowflowers · 28/09/2008 16:12

Hi dinkyboysmum - well I have pcos but tests show I ovulate every month and I have a period every month so my specialist wants me to try for 6 months first then will give me appt. We've been officially trying since June but since last Oct in terms of not using contraception (but not counting days and not living together then so not having huge amounts of sex).

dinkyboysmum · 28/09/2008 15:40

i got my + OPK yesterday pm, and again this am, so have duly dragged dh for bdding! now i guess it's the 2ww (wil bd tomorrow jst in case tho!)

I am in a foul mood today and have already cried twice. Yesterday I felt sick and was dry retching. Today my boobs hurt. Yet I am a proper heavy period now so def not pregnant. I feel like I am going mad thinking I am every month. Help.

MamaMimi · 28/09/2008 13:39

Hello all,

Firstly, congrats MrsMcJnr, great news

Inevitably (after being unwell and not BDing much) AF turned up yesterday, a day earlier than expected tho'.

I just wanted to say good luck to those of you who are still in for a June baby but I'm going over to join the July thread that yellowflowers has started.

I will still keep watching this thread for any news tho' - so all the best.

Decided to test yesterday as there has been no sign of the wicked witch and got a BFN. I was going to test again today as the test I got was 50mui, but I had a temp drop this morning . I'm just awaiting AF now.

funkybumps · 28/09/2008 10:39

well, got ultra excited yesterday as I was officially a day late but got up this morning to find my AF has just started so I'm officially out for this month.

Never mind. I was feeling a bit down but an old friend hs phoned and invited me to her hen night next week so looking forward to being able to have a drink with her now at least

I am soooo happy for all the ladies who are getting BFPs and faint BFPs. Well done, girls !! I will keep checking back on this thread for more good news but I guess I should be going over to the July thread now in preperation for doing it all over again.

VeryKeenForABean · 28/09/2008 10:39

Thanks for welcoming me guys! Congratulations to those with those amazing BFPs!! Fingers crossed for everyone else xx

MrsMcJnr · 27/09/2008 14:51

Thank you all for your good wishes the line is still very faint but it?s there! I was trying to think of a good way to tell DH because last time I just waved the stick in his face at 4.30am! so I made him a G&T and broke the news as he fed DS his supper. DH was in shock said ?seriously? Really?? about 10 times so I showed him the tests and then he said ?is it mine?? ? he said he couldn?t remember getting up to much recently!

Ah Waiting ? sorry hon, (if it is AF that is) sending hugs. Thank you for your lovely words that was so sweet x

Wishing & Lollysmum ? hope those lines have got stronger! I?m now in the same boat as you were?..

Yellowflowers ? sounding intriguing with you! My gut feeling is that you are pg hon

So Funkybumps?? By the way, its an old wives tale about doing it too much, the sperm production meets the demand, if anything, you?re getting the best ?boys? the more you do it!

Verykeen, Dinkyboysmum, Lilypie & Lovelymonster? keeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeppp dancing!

Fingers crossed you?ve done enough for this cycle Rosylee

Littlemissmischief ? thanks hon all your symptoms do sound good, hang in there. Just read your next post, congrats on the +ive OPK Your cycles sound a bit erratic, have you thought about charting your temps etc to see what they are doing so you can spot a pattern?

Fabulous!!!!! Fantastic!!! Congrats!! Vickyjane

Sorry Bamboostalks, all the very best with the IVF and keep us posted x

Thanks Tinker and Mintchocaddict

Mind if I hang around until the line gets darker??.?

dinkyboysmum · 27/09/2008 11:32

sorry, have been AFK for a while, have reread thread...congrats on the BFPs so far..hopefully more'll be joining you soon. I'm still waiting for + OPK,think i'm around CD21 now, so like you litlemiss, thinking it'll be a longer cycle (although i have now had 3 reflexology sessions, which was suppose to 'bring it on').
