Wishing · 04/10/2008 12:57

leaky · 04/10/2008 11:52

It's never over til AF arrives so don't give up hoping yet littlemiss.Thinking of you.
I'm trying to keep positive as still don't "feel" pregnant but I know it is such early days thou.Probably have to wait another 2 weeks before symptoms kick in thou.

yellowflowers · 04/10/2008 10:20

hi all - thanks for nice words. My pee was a hyperactive orange this morning - does that mean anything? Oh well, will find out soon enough. I feel for you littlemissmischief - fingers' crossed. x

littlemissmischief · 04/10/2008 09:19

BFN for me this morning

Im so convinced I am pg tho because of how my boobs are because they are never like they are now apart from when i was pg with ds1, but im either setting myself up for a mighty fall or feel like im going to have to wait ages for the proof that i am!

I cant cope with all this malarky, its really getting me down not knowing whats going on!

Hows everyone else doing?

littlemissmischief · 03/10/2008 18:24

Well boobs are still sore so brought a cheapy test today and think i will do it tom so wish me luck!

Yellowflowers - Glad you have a docs appoint so you can finally sort out what is going on hun, its must have been really difficult for you lately x

Wishing · 03/10/2008 17:04

not meaning to be a pooper yellow flowers but best we dont get too excited on one that has been left for a few hours - it can become an evapouration line cant it??

i hope they do a blood test for you monday the wait is not going to be easy but try to think of something else!! sorry know its hard to!! im resll really wishing for you though hope you get your bfp - keep us updated!

hope evryone else ok;lollys mum - hope you felling a bit better and dont give up - bfps will come to us all!!

xxxxx

yellowflowers · 03/10/2008 16:05

me again. the line is pretty unambiguously there now, though only got darker several hours after test, and wasn't there at all when I redid it on tesco own test. Anyway, guess will find out when I go to doctor on mon. bit of a rollercoaster...

yellowflowers · 03/10/2008 13:19

Just made an appt for Monday!

Wishing · 03/10/2008 12:56

hello yellow flowers

thanks for your advice - i know in theory that sounds like it should work but i dont think it would - i dont think she would be all that impresed with a new born for that long - DH says we arent giving up now so i guess he isnt as worried as me! guess its just me being hormonal!?!

Anyway on to you!! much more exciting as possible bfp! if your af wasnt lie it normally is and you still have a faint line i would go to gp - i have not hd a good experience with home pregnancy tests and always feel like ive shelled out a fortune for nothing! and docs use a bog standard little plastic box - so is all a cb all its cracked up to be??

my heart says try the docs, they may do a blood test for which should help clear it up - i would try not to sit pondering though - ive done enough of that! and you may start to imagine symptoms or cause uncessary stress!

get the docs phoned and keep in touch!

i have everything crossed for you - well again except my legs!

xxxxx

Aniyan · 03/10/2008 11:18

Yellowflowers - it might be worth either going to your GP to get a blood test so you know for sure, or, in the meantime, get a digital test.

Over the summer I used many many tests, as I had a mmc and my hcg levels took ages to drop afterwards. I was monitoring them myself & waiting for a BFN so we could try again.

After driving myself mad (and getting eye-strain ) looking at possible lines/no lines on tests, I broke into my piggy bank and bought digital tests instead - they are a bit abrupt and unfriendly and don't leave much room for doubt, but if you really want an answer, maybe you should get one - or go to your GP.

Good luck to you - it's such a roller-coaster, this baby-making business!

yellowflowers · 03/10/2008 10:47

shit, maybe ignore that. the line was def there within a minute of peeing on stick and for a couple of mins after but now ten mins later and there is nothing there - nothing at all. Maybe I am going truly mad?

yellowflowers · 03/10/2008 10:31

Hi,

Okay, I am confused. To recap - got Af on day 34 (or usual 30 day cycle) after couple of days very metallic taste - light flow for two days, very heavy for one then just stopped abruptly last Sunday (am writing this on Fri) whereas usually af would peter out, this just stopped, but had been heavy, a bit clotty and bright red. During this time had 2 very faint lines but as was on AF assumed chemical pregnancy. Breasts however have been hurting for a week, though not continuously but on and off. Metallic taste stopped but feel sick after dinner each evening, though not to point of being sick. Just peed on stick (having had cup of tea and grapefruit juice, so maybe diluted) as have got a faint line. As in very faint, but don't have to hold up to light, but very very faint. Cursory glance would say nothing, but look hard and it's def there. This was within a minute so not evaporation line.

Test was with clearblue early, not digital. Are they the ones renowned for looking like a line when there is none.

I know I have to just make doctors appt but please advise what you think.Am I bfp? Should I be excited. Or could this be faint line after cp given I did have 3 days bleeding.

aaaaaargh.

LollysMum1 · 03/10/2008 08:00

Update from me, my BFP has turned BFN. AF not here yet which is sooo frustrating. For the first time in my life I'm willing it to arrive now. But i think everything is up the spout after MC in the summer and what may have been a v early MC/blighted ovum this time. 2 out of 2 - doing well. I feel a million miles from even being able to conceive but at least I can starting counting again if and when AF puts in an appearance....

Congratulations to all the sticky BFPs!!!

yellowflowers · 02/10/2008 23:21

Hi Wishing - I bet she'd be so excited to have a new born around she'd be happy with time at your place playing with the baby and maybe a weekend away later and lots o special presents. You have to try. x

Wishing · 02/10/2008 22:21

Hey eveyone!! ive added myself to list here as well! with my cycle going to shot last time round im not sure whether id be very end or very end of july - so like you yellow
flowers im sneaking in on both!

Hope every one well - BIG CONGRATS for you leaky - i think i messaged to you earlier the week and sent you loads of baby dust! Hope it helpd! BFPs seem to be pooping up all over so fingers crossed we get LOTS more!!

no updates for me - upping the3 bd and dh is very keen! (think we both convinced ourselves it was a bfp last week and then when af arrived so late it hit us both, he ws as upset as me and its seems to totally have turned him around! Though we arent really discussing it much this month as we hurt ourselves by getting carried away last month - so (sorry for waffling on!) im going to try really really hard not to symptom spot and think about it constantly!! so you might have a few more posts - and longer ones so sorry in advance!! from me!

The other issue i have is our annual holiday i have a step daughter who lives away and we hardly see her! she looks forward so much to her hols our relationship is very good!) and if i was lucky this month i would be due just before the holiday and i know this sounds ridiculous and i cant put it without it sounding horrible - but i wqs hoping the holiday woiuldnt really be effected - we cant go any other time as we dont get to choose when we have her to visit and other people use the holiday home so we have to fit in with them and can only relly go at thast certain time - i know im probably worrying prematurely cos i havent even got a bfp yet - but do i hold of for a few months so wouldnt be due till after the holiday?? or risk carry on and just go with the flow - could i take a 2 week old on holiday and what if i was late?? I want everyone to be happy and i dont want my step daughter to feel pushed out or that everything is changing for her and that she is wanted - she has already got a bit upset when she thought we might hve a sibling for her and thought we would forget her! which is crazy but after last week if thinking we had got a bfp dh is excited and seems to want to try with all we have got -

im so sorry for literally waffling on its just a big cloud hanging over me at the min and i do feel like i can vent to you guys!!

anyway the update list! sorry again guys

happy bd to all and baby dust all round - everyone with a bfp take care of the beans!!

PMSL Mintchocaddict. Could you imagine that... You get a sick note for work, reason for illness, fallingoutofbra!

I was talking more of the soreness,as Im achy all over wonder if its cos of this,it was my first and only early symptom with my ds so more emphasis on it i suppose, they do get tender when AF is due but they seem worse than normal, never thought I would wish for boobs so sore I couldnt move but i would be so happy!

Im off to write lines now..... x

MintChocAddict · 02/10/2008 21:49

Give yourself lines to write

I will be strong
I will be strong
I will be strong......

Have never heard of an illness where your boobs fall out of your bra , so def sounds very promising!!

littlemissmischief · 02/10/2008 21:45

Hey MintChoc - Good luck, hope AF doesnt turn up and you get a BFP soon.

Well my boobs are very sore and seem huge, actually coming out my bra feeling very achy too so hoping its not an illness I hope it is pg syptoms

Hoping to get through the next couple of weeks with my sanity intact and my wallet not too dented from hundreds of tests ive brought (i will be strong!)

MintChocAddict · 02/10/2008 21:39

Hi All,

Nice to see some familiar names back again. I'm still waiting on AF. Reckon I'm about CD 30ish, but 30+ is normal for me. Fingers crossed that my limited BD this month may have paid off but have a feeling AF might not be too far away . Congratulations to Leaky and everything crossed for all those on the wait.
Symptoms sound promising LMM - Good luck!!!

I've added myself back in until AF or BFP

littlemissmischief · 02/10/2008 19:00
