I don?t believe anything is TMI when you are TTC I?d say yes, if you?ve got lots of CM, creamy or resembling egg white, go for it, sperm can live for up to 5 days in fertile quality CM so you can still successfully get pg even if you had sex before you ovulate and before you get a positive OPK by the way, that?s nonsense about the sperm weakening from lots of sex, if anything, you want the freshest you can get so its better to keep at it

Hi all....OPK's still confusing but have kept bding regardless....and temps are now up today which would seem to mean I ovulated yesterday...

Soooo officially on 2ww and if my temping is correct I would just in time for a May baby....nice (However, a june, august, September etc etc etc baby would be just as nice...hehehehe ).

Febes major congrats....and major respect for waiting as long as you have this month....and can only pray for the same strenght

Congrats Febes.

Have been on holiday so no internet access. Managed to bd every day from 13-17 (cycle is 30 days) so fingers crossed... No chance yesterday (cd18) but will try tonight just to make sure. Didn't get any positives on opk sticks though and only a little ewcm.

Loads of congratulations to you Febes!! . Hopefully more of us to follow.

Talking to DH again. He bought me some doughnuts!!

LMM - Cycles have been like that since I was a teenager (many moons ago!!) Rarely get cramps or heavy bleeding. Just got used to it's strange ways over the years, I suppose.

I do have a sore boobs and going to the toilet during night 3-4 times even I know still early to have these symptoms, anyway some time I am seally sometimes, but i will have a PGT next monday the 15th. all the best for everyone.

Also thankyou for the advice with the CM hoping I get a positive on the Ov stick today then double reason to BD but will probably do it anyway now youve said that, does anyone agree that you shouldnt do it too much cos the sperm gets weaker or less (cant remember which) ive heard this alot but not sure how true it is. Sans04 I forgot to say that Ovulation usually take place when a follicle is between 2-2.5 cm according to my biology books, so if you had a follicle of 27mm & 21 mm this is 2.7 cm & 2.1 cm, so you could well have Ov on CD 9/10

The stuff that sperm like is usually clear and more watery which maybe why it appears there is a large volume. So yeah get BD'ing! Enjoy! Sperm can live for up to 4-5 days in this type of mucus (E mucus)

MintChocAddict - Sorry to hear that you and your DH arnt getting on hope you make it up soon. DP is in my bad books too as he is away at the end of next week CD 14-18, I know he hasnt done it on purpose but still in a mood. LOL!! MrsMcJnr - Unfortunately AF has re-appeared with a vengence. My cycles are pretty stop-start so never very sure when to officially start CD. Very interesting about CM. Didn't use that method when TTC DC1 but sounds very easy to do so reckon I'll have a look this month for changes.

It's probably a good thing that AF is here at the moment as DH and I are at each others throats today so little chance of anything happening anyway! I'm sure we'll be talking again by next week.

Why did I never know all this stuff about CM before im such a novice....Can i do a TMI then?? Obviously I never really looked before with the CM thing (mainly cos I didnt know about it) but obvioulsy with the Ov sticks Ive had to wee in a container every day and the last few days ive seen it and like ALOT! does that mean I sohuld be BD even tho ive not had a postitve on the Ov sticks - sorry again for the TMI

Littlemiss ? it was something to do with work re CM, you?ll have your own particular pattern but generally, the first few days of the cycle are dry or sticky, then the stickiness builds up and becomes more creamy and then just around ovulation it becomes like egg white ? that?s the precious stuff as sperm lives in it and travels in it to the egg! Then as you get closer to AF, it becomes sticky again. So in short, if it?s creamy or like egg white, get busy!!!
