Posted this on another thread but thought i'd post it here too as i feel better knowing i'm not the only pee stick addict on MN!!

Well had a bit of a false OPK alarm yesterday and dinner with the boys at the Harvester nearly turned into inseminations at mine. The clearblue fertility monitor decided not to work yesterday morning so i done a cheap ebay OPK, nothing and then picked it up to throw it in the bin 20 mins later and 2 lines, one very faint!!! Went to the chemist and bought the clearblue OPK's and negative, re-read the instuctions and found out that a line fainter than the test line is a negative reading. Oops! You would think after peeing on sticks for 3 months i would have got the hang of it by now!!!! I now have 3 sticks to potentially pee on everyday do you think i'm becoming a little obsessive LOL

(heebychick searches under desk for baby dust) yes we should be due some good luck now eh!

I have looked at my dates and early next week should be the best time for 'early nights'

How do we write up a list for AF due dates for this thread maybe?

Hi all, AFs drawing to a close - getting that fruity feeling , or is it just me ? Good luck for this month sparky. Abstract - sorry to hear about the m/c. You're in good company as there are unfortunately many of us who know what you're feeling right now (veteran of 1 ep, 1 'disappearing twin', 1 mmc, 1 early mc and 1 gorgeous ds). Mind you, it does give us carte blanche to be as neurotic as we like!

Gin and grapefruit - now that might actually work (pootles off to raid the drinks cupboard...)

Heeby - I pulled apart an OPK last night, does that count? (couldn't work out if the lines were the same or not....)

Hi all - am back to mumsnetting and remembering the addiction. i found this fab sie in 2004 when pg with number 1 and now ttc number 3. Got period today so I guess that makes me cd1 too....heres to a quick graduation to an AN thread for all!!

Hi abstract i remember you from the last thread, i'm really sorry about your m/c. i had one in May/June so understand totally. if it helps i feel like i have really gotten back on track now and am ready to start again.

Hi all I'm on cd whatever, hope you don't mind me joining. Had a m/c last month and not sure when af will arrive (hopefully on time) I have also deconstructed tests lol if that helps.

funtime i agree with you, i think you almost have to have a limit to then aim towards, not strictly but a guideline at least. And yes i'll have ice and lemon please - i like this part of not being pregnant i have to say!

nelix i took a test apart too, don't we sound like nutters! i here by promise to be patient, relaxed and calm about this whole baby making process ... yeah right!

I'm obsessing about OPKs at the moment (clearly trying to stay v relaxed - am having to hide them in the bathroom!!) - just read today you shouldn't use them first thing in the morning. B*gger.

Pleased to hear that you're feeling a little more relaxed about the whole thing. I think that I might take a leaf out of your book and if I've not managed to conceive (and hang on to it) by the end of the year, I'm going to stop 'trying' and just accept that ds may or may not have a sibling.

Nelix - saw your other thread about taking the test apart! Naughty girl, slapped wrists all round !
