Anyone else on CD1 who wants to join me?

heeby I had a cyst removed back in March along with my right ovary & tube and have been told I have 6 little ones on on my left one, but doc doesn't seem to think they will cause problems unless they get bigger, she also said that the left one will produce for the right one so fingers crossed for chances of a positive result soon....update for your list I'm CD9 & AF due around Oct 8th-15th. Cycle not quite settled down from the op yet and is 3 wks one month & 4 the next, so going to do lots of BD over the next wk trying to catch the OV stage, had OV pains yesterday and still have them today so going for it tonight with DH

wanabe yes i'm really hoping it is, you know i could of sworn i had a (sorry tmi!!) leak from my (.)(.) this morning, i was getting dressed and my hand brushed against one and i thought it was either very cold or damp?!! Sorry weird and graphic i know, but thought it was odd.

so maybe it's just a strange symtpom of OVing?! we had an 'early night' yesterday so would of timed it right if so!

Sparky it's natural to feel how you do especially when you have had the trauma of a MC before. Try not to punish yourself for being anxious but try and keep positive at the same time xx

Thanks heeby and wasabi. Hope you feel better soon heeby. I am going to have a day of wallowing and a hot bath (ah, I hate two weeks of not having them while waiting...) and then work out romantic things for our BD stage.

yellow that's such a shame (((hugs))) i'm so sorry. very strange about your taste tho, i remember when i was a teenager i had an awful metal taste and it turned out i had gum disease which was causing a reaction with my filing in a tooth! so i guess it might be something like that, or diet related? it's awful enough waiting but when you have symptoms as well it's torture, our bodies are good at tricking us, i should know i had strong symptoms for 6 weeks and it was nothing!! I am feeling quite sicky today, all down to pre holiday stress i think. and i'm sad to say that my right side pain is back, i had it on and off yesterday and over night it woke me up. i'm hopeful that it might OV but it feels like it did for all those weeks so maybe it's the cyst again? hmm. will try not to think about it, i have another scan on 16th Oct when i'm back from hols.

I'm out. Metallic taste all yesterday afternoon and evening - thought I was going to throw up was so bad, then today woke up with proper spotting so AF def on way, and feel all periody too. Burst into tears this morning and still feel rubbish. Metal taste was so horrid am sure not just figment of imagination. Feel really lousy.

Feeling more relaxed this month - if that's possible. Will be doign lots of BD over the weekend but am sure by the time testing comes around again I won't be feeling relaxed at all!! ahhhh - you'll be ok Sparky, keep positive - I'm sure it's your turn this time.

Sparky I agree with heeby 100%. I had little cramps on and off all the way through 1st trimester with my DS. I think if they were "bad" cramps they'd be a hell of a lot more painful.

Staying positive is best for you and your eeeny weeeny bambino!

I made it official with my GP yesterday - quite an anticlimax. Not happy with West Herts antenatal care - I don't see anyone till 12 weeks and no scan till 20 weeks - I just can't wait that long, so have got to go private for a nuchal - assuming I get that far ..

sparky gentle slap on wrist for you honey, you must try to be positive, every pregnancy is the same and it is normal to get lots of cramps during the first 12 weeks. I had them for ages! and worried too but nothing bad ever happened. Sorry to sound stern, i do totally understand how you feel (have been there) and i am not underestimating it at all, i hope you know that. i just think that you should try to keep strong and look at the good points. My Dr told me that it is normal for you to think the symtpoms have gone because our bodies get used to them after a few weeks! until we have another surge of hormones! will you have a scan soon? to put your mind at rest? (((((hugs ))))

Sparky stay positive, I always put those cramping pains down to my growing baby making room .

I haven't been on very much as busy with LO and BD'ing! We've been good and BD every other day, so far , my FIL popped round one lunch time unexpectedly! Which you'd think wouldn't be a problem, just don't answer the door I hear you say, but then we remembered he had key!!

Hey all - have been lurking as feeling v blue about the whole thing Know that I'm lucky to have a BFP but am convinced I am going to lose this one like the last (last pg never got past 6+3 and and 6+5 today) - doesn't help that still feeling crampy and am sure I have lost all other symptoms...

Hi heebychick - not completely sure - only found spotting by, erm (don't shout at me) putting tampon in for a few mins then pulling out and seeing what was on end! But there was some blood and am convinced it's spotting and beginning of AF even though now getting metallic taste again.

Slim chance I could have ovulated on the second burst of ewcm which was 12 days ago and this could be implantation but unlikely as metallic wouldn't happen until after implantation would it?

yellow oh no! are you sure? i get so angry with my own body when i have 'symptoms' and then AF starts anyway, i am really sorry for you, at least there are a few of us in the same boat so we can support each other this month.

wanabe we are going to Paxos, i've never been to greece or any of the islands so am really excited! and yes it would be perfect to concieve DC2 on holiday, our DD was concieved in California on our honeymoon so it's only fair that number 2 has it's own exotic story!

nelix i am back on the GFJ with a vengence, my DD even tried some over the weekend and then shuddered and made a really funny 'yuk' face! she then tried to stop me having some and got upset when i did, i guess she wanted to say 'don't have it mummy it's awful!' tee hee!

yellow good luck with your waiting, it must be torture but at least you still have hope, be calm and try to block it out till then (yeah yeah who am i kidding!)

An antenatal thread would be great! maybe do one after this round of cycles? we go away for 2 weeks on Sunday so i won't be able to test until we get back and i'll be on CD32 then so if no AF then i'll be certainly on time for testing. But i shall be sad to be away from the action of all you testers, i will pray from over the sea for lots of BFP's tho xx

Thanks - adjusted dates as I have usual 30 days cycle and it says can expect a reliable test by Sept 27th - eeek, thats Sat then. Not sure I can wait that long!
