Anyone else on CD1 who wants to join me?

Thanks Wanabe & Becky Just seems I had so many 'symptoms' this month & so early on for the last 10 days or so.
Had really sore (.)(.), cramps, felt sicky quite alot esp in the car & never get car sick, got hormone lumps in my armpits 10 days ago, stayed for 2 days then went, they usual only appear 2 days before AF and go when AF arrives & then the wicked headache over the wkend...just thought I'd share my symptoms with you all just incase I was pg & you are feeling any of the same symptoms. It would have been lovely to have known for sure if I did actually conceive with only having 1 ovary it plays on my mind that I may not even be ovulating. DH thinks we should go and talk to gyne to make sure but I want to wait a couple of months & see if we can do it ourselves then talk to her in the New Year if no luck, its such a small place here if I was seen coming out of the gynes office tongues would be wagging before I got home & I don't think I'm ready for people to know we are trying yet

Hey smiley you may very well have conceived and it didn't "stick", sometimes happens more than we think apparently. Nice to know your DH spoils you like that though! how romantic.

Hey becky nice to see you back with us. Let me know how the temping goes as haven't tried that yet (probably the only thing i haven't tried though!)

Thanks for the vote of confidence Jools i'm keeping everything crossed. The only problem is i had another small dark brown smugde this morning and have now convinced myself it's AF on her evil way
This is exactly why i tried to deny that i had any symptoms and told myself they were all in my head. It's not possible though because even DH has noticed that i'm "different" (he's very diplomatic!). Plus i woke up at 3am needing a wee, never happens! i need to know now though, im so impatient!

Hey girls, I?ve had a pretty uneventful 2 weeks really??..working quite hard and catching up with friends and family. I spent some time last night catching up with all your news on here and was a little sad to see we haven?t had any BFP?s (YET!)
I am preparing to move to a new client (I?m a management consultant) and it?s looking like my new role will have more responsibility and be taking over from someone leaving to go on maternity leave!! I?m due AF tomorrow so caved and did a test this morn ? BFN unfortunately ? no even hint of a line . I am now awaiting AF as have had no symptoms at all and have a BFN on a first response. Not the end of the world really but I?m going to start the temperature monitoring as the OPK didn?t pick up ovulation last month and so I?m wondering if I?m actually ovulating earlier or later than I think.
[smiley] is hard to know what to think isn't it? I have been putting to the back of my mind a bit but this morning had fingers, toes, arms crossed - who I am kidding?? lol

I had a very romantic weekend, flew back in on Friday, plane was delayed 6 hrs & sent to Malaga as we had 65mph winds in Gibraltar, we've even got a large tanker ship wrecked against the rock after the storm. My DH had organised a suprise spa wkend away as it was our anniversary..started late but made up for it. One thing I didn't understand this month was on Sat night I got a massive headache, migraine quality and didn't want to take any pills as was still hoping I was pg, the headache even woke me up several times in the night(still have it now although lighter)so was convinced on Sunday morning that it must have been pg hormones as I never get anything like it when AF building up.....was wrong witch arrived by afternoon, but me & DH were talking last night wondering if it may have been a bit of both as I've had lots of 'symptoms' this month and maybe I did get pg but it just didn't take!!!! Am I kidding myself, what do you think?

Wanabe - that all sounds really promising I had hot nipples on a Sat - unmistakable wierd feeling - and was incredibly tired on the Sunday - couldn't understand what was wrong with me at the gym, I was so weak.

I tested on the Thursday - CD29, 13DPO, day before AF due ..... Had brown watery CM a few days before the hot nipples and then again at 13DPO

I have a theory that the hot nipple thing is associated with implantation, in which case you would have to wait a few days for HCG levels to rise.

Sorry just remembered more, was very tired thursday, friday, and yesterday. Have hardly any appetite and not really fancying food in general (not even the nice stuff!).

no news as such yet funtime too scared to test! I'm CD33 today 11DPO and not sure if i imagined that my sense of smell was heightened earlier as I could smell my DH's crisps REALLY strongly across the other side of the room (could just mean they had a lot of flavour on them though!) and the only other thing is i've peed so many times today im sick of the sight of my loo. Only had about 4 drinks and have peed around 6/7 times. Grrr getting very frustrating! oh and had a tad smudge of brown in my knickers yesterday (back to the good old knicker checking nelix)

Sounds very posistive i know but i'm so scared to get my hopes up. did a test (cheapy one) yesterday am but was a BFN, although it was before my brown smudge incident.

Any ideas/advice ladies?

Well, still no AF at this end. If nothing has happened by Tues I'll test again. I'm a little worried, as I googled Naproxen (the stuff I was on for my shoulder) and it can delay/prevent ovulation. Also there's some evidence that if I was pg it would up the mc rate. Great, although I told my GP we were trying and she said that taking it for a week wouldn't be a problem .

Any news yet Wanabe?

Sorry for not answering I've been back in UK all week and have not had access to a computer...AF seems to have arrived this afternoon, its lighter than usual but red so I guess its a no for me this month..ah well didn't expect it to happen on the 1st month of trying but couldn't help getting my hopes up , bit more switched on now so looking forward to trying next month

Will AF arrived this morning . We have been so good this month BD'ing every other day! I have a docs appointment next Friday to discuss my episode and check that is wasn't anything serious or fertility related. Lets hope my doctor is more understanding!!

HI all

Well I am totally confused as to where mc leaves me in terms of current cycle. If I take first day of bleeding as CD1 (it only lasted 3 days) then i am currently on CD15 and have had EWCM since thurs so maybe ov at usual time?? I don't know, just bding every other day where poss just in case!

So for stats that would make af around 24th but I am having no HPTs in house until nov 5th. Some hope.....! :0 Hope all well x

Wanabe - let's hope so. It looks as if I've ov'd later than normal, pg or not. Arghh, I did the test to stop me thinking that I might be and now I'm hoping again . Slap me, hard, and soon .

Anyone know what's happened to Smileycat and Heeby these days? Hope that everything is OK for Sparky too, I'm presuming that she's moved to an antenatal thread.

Aww yellow!! how aweful for you. Why didn't they just tell you over the phone then you could have gone straight down and got the bottle to send off another one rather than wait for an appointment! how stupid of them

You're right to be upset this is so stressful just waiting for AF without the "am i, aren't i" scenario which is as confusing as yours. I'm glad that it's not cancer, at least that's a positive outcome. Although can't help but really feel for you.

Get BD-ing honey and at least this month wont be a total waste of your time! you never know, by the time your blood tests actually come back you could be in the 2ww feeling a lot more positive (or pg of course)

Turns out the reason the doctor needed a retest on the urine sample was because on Monday they'd given me the wrong sample bottle and it had been contaminated (there is another element in bottles used for infection testing apparently and they'd given me this). I was so pissed off.

The doctor I saw was nice. She says sore boobs throughout cycle just one of those things that happens which I don't really believe but I did make her check I had no lumps so she felt them and all fine, so not cancer at least! She also said if pregnant would def show on home urine test and I said fine but therefore why the metallic taste and sore boobs, and sense of smell etc. She reordered urine test and I insisted she get blood test done too. But still came away feeling like a hyperchondriac and like she thought I was mad. I hate GPs.

So upshot is probably not pregnant but thanks to their incompetence won't know for sure until blood test results back next week, and having sore boobs for over two weeks is apparently just one of those things.

So guess I will just assume I am not pregnant. But not 100 per cent certain. Got to BD lots anyway now because if my 3 day mini period two weeks ago was my proper period then now is the time for this month. I am very close to tears.

Nelix - sorry to be the one who goes against the grain but I was horrendously sick with ds (and his chum). I lost a stone in about 6 weeks and even after the throwing up, throughout the pregnancy there was increasingly less of me as the bump got bigger. It looked as if I was being eaten alive, but it did mean that I was back in my jeans 3 days after the birth. Maybe you're having twins !

funtime what did the test say? or did you not give in? Were you strong?

I'm feeling a bit queezy today and a little yesterday but always around lunchtime, odd not sure if that's a symptom or my imagination as i'm 9DPO today. This seems to be taking forever to get to 10DPO!!! wanting to get there so i don't start worrying that my LP is too short! gosh im such a worry wort! Plus im CD31 today, not happened in a long while!

Yellow that sounds very much like a symptom to me!

I might actually give in and test tomorrow (10th) just to get it out of my system.

Hope is good! it keeps us going. Didn't realise you had had such a traumatic time of it though funtime. I'm not good at the whole pg symptoms as this is my first so wouldn't have a clue really. Thought i had symptoms last time and that ended in AF so what's the point? I'll wait to see my BFP then i'll believe it!

When's Heeby back?

This weekend it is then Wanabe! Is Smileycat still in as well, I'm losing track a bit. I might have ov'd later than usual, I didn't feel it this month and I'd been on the strong ibuprofen, but if no AF by the weekend, I'll test for the hell of it. As all my pregnancies have been different, I've given in trying to work out symptoms.

PG1 - general fuzziness and lethargy (ectopic)
PG2 - Extremely sore boobs, sick from 4 days before AF due until about 10 weeks (twins, lost one, but have gorgeous ds )
PG3 - Nausea, fuzziness, tender boobs, sick from 2 weeks after AF until 11 weeks (missed m/c).
PG4 - Small niggles, but no real symptoms (CP)

This month I feel neither pg nor periody. Please someone slap me now for even entertaining the hope .

Hey funtime i'm a bit like that. Think it should be a 29day cycle so AF due tomorrow but that's only 9DPO. So if nothing by Sunday will probably test, just in case!

Still not feeling very periody though. No niggles or anything, but my one boob (i know it's weird!) is tender to touch and both are sore when i walk (when they move in other words!)

Anyway, probably nothing. Keep telling myself im trying not to symptom spot.
