Thanks Crunchy. I told DP yesterday that we have a virtual toasting/party at 2.30pm and she really laughed

crunchynutter · 13/08/2008 19:16

I shall have a drink and toast for another happy marriage xx

makingafamily · 13/08/2008 18:26

Oh and we've got 40 at the ceremony and sit down meal and another 40 at the evening reception

makingafamily · 13/08/2008 18:25

Hey ladies

Dawn i'm "loving" the black and white rose petal confetti. I'm sooo excited i cant stay still. Just got home from final bits of shopping. The daddy's to be are both going to be there and are DP's Best men, i'm quite worried that bio daddy to be is going to start crying as as soon as him and my DP look at each other in emotional situations they just set each other off. It happened at numerous times during the boys Civil Partnership last year!!

Quick TTC Update. AF arrived this morning 5 days early?!?! Bad news in one way but on the other hand it means we should def be able to start this cycle as the boys are away from the 6th Sept, and i had happily resigned myself to the fact we were going to have to start the following month but maybe my body thinks different, will have to see when i ovulate And as soon as the boys drop off my AAA Batteries i can get started with the Clearblue Fertility monitor. Oooo the excitement So i guess today is officially CD1 Cycle1 TTC DC1

Much grinning, i know

bubbap · 13/08/2008 18:16

Hi girls

Welcome Vix - I've only just joined too and I feel like part of the gang already

saz - keep us posted and try not to worry, it may be implantation bleed as the others have said.

summerbird - I shall wave to you across Cardiff on Sunday evening, hope you have a fab time in llengennith.

I've got a load of girl friends coming round this evening, so just been preparing the food! And I'll be taking it easy on the vino! Got a good excuse tonight as I'm the hostess!

summerbird · 13/08/2008 17:36

thanks for that saz i now have that song implanted in my brain! if we are on a sunshine blitz hows about 'Walking on Sunshine' by Katrina and the Waves? and if you are sure you arent PG then i suggest you get a bottle of wine and some smoked salmon whilst you can!!

MAF have the most wonderful day, enjoy every minute and make sure you post some pics on your profile afterwards! the excitement running up to the wedding is fantastic. And enjoy your honeymoon at V festival too, i love a good music festival.

yep Dawn i am all set, my prom dress is hanging in the spare room with my sparkly shoes - i cant wait!

i am off work now girls for almost two weeks - woo hoo! we go to Llangennith on Friday morning so i shall be online tomorrow but out of action from Friday to Wednesday, i can see i am gonna have loads to catch up on as we are a chatty lot!

saz007 · 13/08/2008 16:07

Dawn thanks for that hun!

So I'm taking today as CD1 and am not doing any more tests this month. But on the plus side....4 days or so till BD-fest Aug 08 commences - whoohoo!!!! Bring it on!

Outfit is now fully sorted with my dancing shoes at the ready and at least I can join in the bubbly drinking! LOL hope there's an extra bottle

I have another suggestion for the playlist...Mr Blue Sky by ELO. If we play this the weather might improve

DawnAS · 13/08/2008 15:52

Hi all,

And welcome Vix.

So MAF, not long now "MAF's getting married in the morning.... Ding dong the bells are gonna shine" (and hopefully the sun will too - keep everything crossed for you hun!!).

So girls, have you dry-cleaned all your outfits and got the extra bits ready that you're taking?! MAF, I think you said your dress was black and white, so I've got virtual fake rose-petals in black and white for the confetti if that's Ok. Don't worry, they won't stain your dress!!

You must be so excited. Is everything sorted? Just remember that even if there are any slight hiccups on the day (which there won't be!!) no-one else will notice. How many guests have you got going? Are the two "future Dads" going to be witnesses?

Saz, I have to admit that everything that I read, the initial implantation takes place between 6-12 DPO, although when I was getting my spotting (before they found out it was an MC) the DR said that it was common to continue to have Implantation spotting for a few weeks after initial Implantation as the cervix settles down and the "baby" burrows further into the womb. So you never know!!!

saz007 · 13/08/2008 13:29

Hi Vix welcome to the thread!! I've heard the grapefruit juice one too, bought some but only managed a glass or two [yack emoticon] LOL

Eth, Summerbird thanks. I always thought that this happened before AF was even due??

summerbird · 13/08/2008 13:02

hiya vix and welcome aboard! i am 35 and have been TTC for 6 months now, but still positive.

saz it aint over yet - why dont you do another test as it could be implantation bleed

Boni how tall are you? it sounds like you are a healthy weight to me, and also you dont want to be underweight at 7st when you do get PG. i know what you mean about not being yourself though, i am currently 10.5st and reasonably happy at that, the lowest i have been is 9.5st. its the (.)(.)s with me!!!

makingafamily · 13/08/2008 12:23

Hi Vix and welcome

I only joined this thread a few weeks ago and everyone has been lovely. As crunchy said we've all got different circumstance's but the one big thing that joins us all is being on the baby making wagon.

Good luck with the clomid xx

crunchynutter · 13/08/2008 12:12

hi vix and welcome! Somebody did mention grapefruit a while ago I think And I went Nd bought bloody cranberry LOL. We are a friendly thread though and I have found people on here are very supportive despite having differernt circumstances. I hope you find he clompe useful-at what point did you go to the doctors if you don't mind me asking? (I will disappear for a few hours now but will be bAck later so please don't think I am ignoring you if you reply! )

Crunchy xx

Vix67 · 13/08/2008 12:07

xx

crunchynutter · 13/08/2008 11:48

eth37 · 13/08/2008 11:05

Maf you must be getting really excited now!! Eeeeek!

Oh well, onwards and upwards

makingafamily · 13/08/2008 10:28

Morning

Thanks for all your lovely messages and wishes. Shoes have finally turned up......at work!!!

Bit concerned about the weather EEK

crunchynutter · 13/08/2008 09:52

that should be everything is perfect for you! I really am going to start reading these before I post... Maybe lol

crunchynutter · 13/08/2008 09:48

LOL I got the bloody space bar instead of the c! Pie would have Bern much easier to fix though! There is a man here now from my dads work so I'm hiding upstarirs in my pajamas! fingers crosses-I was thinking someone would break in all night!

b I would love to be that weight! I was 8.4 when I met my hubby and was only 16! I used to get told I was too skinny loads! I have put just under a stone and a half on and hate it though, I guess it's just what you're comfortable with isn't it? (BTW I was a dancer so I was 8.4 of very hard and defined muscle-I think that's what I miss more than numbers on the scale!)

Saz stay positive. When were you gestin again? Was it tomorrow?

dawn I hope you have seen sombody about your back. My sister regularly has to see a chiropractor but he does wonders.

Maf I st you can't wait til tomorrow-I walked round grinning like a mad woman leading up to my wedding. I hope is perfect for you xx

Crunchy xx

saz007 · 13/08/2008 08:45

Yeay B you sound much chirpier this morning!

LOL Crunchy I also thought the door problem had something to do with a pie...or maybe that's just wishful thinking on my part?!? Hope it got sorted ok?

No news yet Summerbird. 29 days has been my longest cycle since coming off the pill and that would have been Monday, they've usually been 27/28 days. Although I have been having some stronger cramps this morning (I don't usually get any cramping until about day 2 or 3 of AF and even then it's not much - sorry if TMI!) so I'm fully expecting AF to make an appearance....boo!

Bubbap thanks and cheers for the babydust lady

This waiting is driving me crazy, I just wish I knew one way or the other. DH was saying he felt the same last night. This is going to make me sound really self centered but I'd totally forgotten that he'd be feeling the same - oops!

MAF good luck again for tomorrow I'm soooo excited for you!!! Hope the sun makes an appearance

Hi to Dawn, Flirty and everyone else, hope you all have fantastic days xx

summerbird · 13/08/2008 07:20

hey boni you sound much happier today, that is good to see i get days like that too when everything is crap then i wake up next day and forget about it!

bubbap i will be in Cardiff on sunday night after my weekend at Llangennith, my friend lives on Cathedral Road in the centre, it is a lovely part of town, i have family in Pontllanfraith (Blackwood way) too so that part of Wales is like home to me.

saz - anything happening yet matey??

MAF i am literally peeing myself with excitement for you! all the very best for the big day and enjoy yourself

hi there crunchy BSL dawn and flirty an all of our other first timers! Have a wonderful day everyone!

Bonifacio · 13/08/2008 02:51

Lol, sorry Crunchy but when I first read your post I thought you were going to blame the broken door an a pie, that would've been funny!!

Well my mum has arrived and when she gets up we will be going swimming and to the gym, and then shopping yey! And your all right I always get bloated and PMT ish but mainly I am annoyed with myself at letting myself go, I was just over 7st when I met DP thats a stone and a half of excess crap on me and it all goes straight to my hips, ass and thighs I think I like food too much!!

Dawn I hope your back gets better soon, and you sound like your between a rock and a hard place, wanting a BFP but worrying about MC'ing again, must be tough I am sure your next pg witll be fine!

BSL I can never remember time zones, family are all over the world it gets really confusing!! You'll have a great time in Singapore its a lovely city. Make sure you go to the zoo! We had a great time! And its really humid there at the moment accoriding to a friend of mine!

Saz I am hoping that if you test again in a few days you will get a BFP!! Heres hoping!!

MAF ooh its getting closer now!! I bet you are so excited!!

Hello to everyone else Bubbap, Summer, Flirty, Sorry if I forgot anyone!! xx

bubbap · 12/08/2008 20:08

poor crunchynutter... hopefully your DH and dad can fix it! x

crunchynutter · 12/08/2008 19:10

today is just getting better our patio doors Have broken (I have no idea what had happened but we have taken the lock apart and a pie e of metal inside has actually broken!)

Hubby looked on Internet and it looks like it could cost bout £350 so I did what any sensible girl does and phoned my daddy! He has come to look at it and disappeared with my DH so fingers crossed he's got a friend with the relevant equipment! Xx

bubbap · 12/08/2008 17:47
