Ladies,
Helloo! I've ben away for 3 weeks with no email and only just logged on so haven't had a chance to read what5's been happening to you all.

News in brief from me...morning sickness started at 5+6 for me and I'm now sick without fail when I get up in the morning and have to endure all day nausea (like seaickness feeling). It's awful! I've bee travelling on business and wanted to die some days. The gtood news is that I have my booking in appointment on Tuesday and my 1st scan (all being well) on 16 Oct - seems forever to wait as we still haven't told anyone our news!

Anyway hope you're all well and that the stock is busy packaging up your bundles of joy!

Love Flirty x

Good evening ladies - been lurking for a while, so hope you don't mind me joining you?

Saz, Dawn - can fully empathise with what you're going through as I'm with the same company. Just got back from holiday and not managed to face all of the "inspirational" messages just yet .

Been ttc for 6 or 7 months, now on CD21 and not feeling particularly confident for this cycle, in spite of plenty of holiday bd at the right times, etc. Sorry if tmi too soon ...

Have any of the fully proficient frolickers got any dietary tips? Been drinking lots of grapefruit juice - any other ideas?

Babydust and yoghurt pots for all

makingafamily · 13/09/2008 20:50

Hey ladies. AF arrived about 5 mins after i typed my last message a day early and really heavy straight away which is odd for me so with the faint positive on friday thinking it may have been a chemical pregnancy so i have really learnt my lesson with early testing.

Saz i hope you do stay around, its so lovely to have BFP's on here and we'd miss you

Hope everyone is having a good weekend

crunchynutter · 13/09/2008 19:23

hi! My husband works for them. He is in part of an over seas team and (touch wood!) his job seems quite safe at the moment!

My washing machine is fixed I heard something really sad today though (it involves a baby so I will not tell yet!) it happened a few weeks ago but I didn't know and then felt really bad.

summerbird I know how you feel. I keep feeling guilty about 'trying' as I know I am needed at work and the thought of not being there fills me with guilt. My husband thinks I'm being silly but I can't help it. I want both things and knowing how long it could take us to conceive I need to forget about work really. But I do understand how you feel xx

DawnAS · 13/09/2008 18:01

Hi All,

Saz - Congratulations!! Well done you and Mr Saz!! So, how far along do you think you are? How exciting. All that and we work for the same company!! Amazing!!

And Crunchy, yes it does have a D & S in it aswell... Do you know someone that works for the company too? I missed you on here, glad you're back.

So Summer, did the book arrive? We went to have a second viewing on the house today and have put in an offer... Scary but exciting all at the same time!!

MAF, sorry about your BFN hun. I really thought it was our month this month aswell after the MC, but it wasn't to be. But I'm now at CD11 and starting BDing tonight, even though I probably won't OV for another 10 days if I'm on another 35 day cycle, but at least I'll feel like I'm doing something then!!

Waves and babydust to everyone else!! **

By the way, did anyone get chance to look at my chart. I really don't know what I'm looking for....

xxx

BubbaP · 13/09/2008 17:37

OMG Saz, huge congratulations!!! This is turning out to be one very lucky thread. 4 BFPs in as many weeks!!!! Fantastic news.

Big hugs and baby dust to all the rest of you girls - I'm not going anywhere either!!! I LOVE this thread and all the people on it.

xxxxxx

summerbird · 13/09/2008 16:27

hey saz you are staying with us - dont you dare leave this thread, i need to see that it is possible!!

this is gonna sound weird to you guys but as i am applying for this job (finishing off the app tomorrow) i kinda think it would be inconvenient to get PG now if i got the job, i would rather wait until the role starts if i do get it as i dont want them to rescind the offer if i do get PG. my DH doesnt want me to think like that but then again if i DO think like that (ie - kind of stop trying) then maybe it will happen???

am i talking bull**it?

oh and my friend who is 7 months pg is coming over tonight, i am really looking forward to seeing her although the last time we saw them she said that it was a shame i wasnt PG with her, well yes i agree but that dont make me feel any better!!

crunchynutter · 13/09/2008 12:42

yay!another graduate who is going to stay and hold our hands thank you! I like to think it's lucky xx

I forgot to add to my list of horrors that in my new £6000 bathroom the hinge on the toilet seat has snapped! How the hell is that possible LOL I am still happy though and enjoyed my hairspray night with the girls

saz007 · 13/09/2008 12:19

Oh yeah, almost forgot, I'm staying here with you guys if that's ok?

saz007 · 13/09/2008 12:15

Thanks girls. I've been pretty tearful myself this morning - god knows why!! Have now pulled myself round and am grinning like a loon

I was awake from 4 this morning, but stayed in bed as I thought it was too early to test (why???) Had to do it at half 6 tho, just couldn't wait any longer iyswim (TMI I know! )

MAF so gutted for your BFN today. I really thought it was going to be your month. AF hasnt shown up tho, so there's still hope tho right?

Wildfig if so, it was the only symptom I had!

Dawn forgot to say before that house is fab! I love the garden

makingafamily · 13/09/2008 11:10

Saz WOW WOW WOW thats brilliant

BFN for me and AF pains kicked in about an hour ago. I have learnt my lesson with early testing and wont be doing it again. The boys are on holiday and am gonna wait til they get back to tell them we're yoghurt potting again next month lol

Dawn the house looks fab

wildfig · 13/09/2008 10:38

saz congratulations!! So pleased for you! So, can we add 'amazingly good mood' to the list of possible symptom spotting?!

summerbird · 13/09/2008 10:34

Hope everyone else is doing ok?

MAF still got everything crossed for you hun

crunchynutter · 13/09/2008 08:54

or too even!

crunchynutter · 13/09/2008 08:52

aww dawn good luck! It looks lovely!the garden is beautiful! I'm sorry I disappeared for a bit. Have had a busy week at work - now I'm no longer a NQT LOL. To be honest, I've been working my ass off but it's been quite a nice week, my naughty yr 11class (they have only given me this year and I was a bit worried!) are actually ok. We've been getting on pretty good. Anyway, I am one of those geeky people who could talk about my work ALL day but I realist that that it's boring for others (as my husband keeps telling me!)

So apart from the good start back at work everything else seems to have been going wrong this week! Last Friday our lovely tv broke, that was magically fixed saturday night and then Sunday my washing machine broke as I've said before I'm a bit of a clean freak so we have been ok this week for work etc. However, my mom came round yesterday to wait for the technician. I came home from work and it was still broke!!!! I was fuming. By now I have no clean clothes and have wet towels/bed clothes to do and being me that's a nightmare!!

AnywAy, while I was practising my new swear words (very lady like ) my sister took pity on me and phoned them back and insisted they come today. They were going to come Monday when all my family are on holiday so DH woukd have to miss work and we'd lose £150 so j am really grateful for my sister! I am back and have stopped swearing now though

Dawn does your company have a D and an S in to?

DawnAS · 12/09/2008 21:12

So, just to point out. There are 2 bedrooms on the lower-ground floor that we don't need so one will be a dining room (it's got patio doors out to the garden... lovely) and the other will be my office!!

xx

DawnAS · 12/09/2008 21:10

So, now that's out of the way, how is everyone today?

I'm starting to feel better but I sent my boss an email earlier and he actually confessed that it had made him really tearful. Is it weird to miss your boss so much? I've only met him twice but he's funny, he's caring and he loves his family so much. At least he's accepted me as his friend on Facebook so at least I can keep in touch with him. I think it's the suddeness of his departure that's caused the strange impact on me... So sad...

Anyway, thinking that DH and I might start BDing this weekend. I'm coming up to CD11 tomorrow and normally have 35 day cycles, but it won't do any harm to start early just in case... Although my Mum did say that every other day could be too much as DHs sperm count may drop slightly.. And she had 5 of us so I guess she should know, but I was also told that every other day was fine... Oh who bloody knows!!

So Saz, if our company starts with E and has been taken over by a company starting with H, then we're definitely in the same company. Although I work from home in sunny (not) Devon, so I don't think we'll be meeting too soon unfortunately!!

If only they knew what we get up to....

Crunchy, where have you been girl? I thought gone on holiday or run away!!

So, I know that everyone has different tastes in houses, but this is the one we're hoping to put an offer on and we're doing a second viewing tomorrow and taking Mum and Dad... Hope people like it... It's not the character home that we would have dreamed of, but we like it... "Hopefully our house hope you like"

DawnAS · 12/09/2008 20:59

Hey all,

I have no idea what I'm doing with this FF charting thing. I've added my chart here. What do you all think? Is this normal for Pre-OV temps? What should it go up to when it's coming up to OV time or does it only increase AFTER OV? I just don't know ...

"Here is my chart".

xx

heylottie · 12/09/2008 20:05

Hello, just wanted to say 'hello' again! Like crunchynutter I find it hard to log on every day but I am following the trials and tribs of us all remotely!
It's CD7, PO 20 for me. No pregnancy symptoms except one sore boob. Went to get my day 21 bloods today ( day early natch) so we will see

Have a fab weekend everyone
