Hi Glask

I have my fingers and toes firmly crossed for you tomorrow!GOOD LUCK!(hope the postman delivers!)

Hi Ses,

Well done! That sounds good. DH is just changing my tyres to off road ones and then we are going to go for a ride.

I did the london to brighton in june but haven't been on a bike since!

SesQal · 10/08/2008 15:40

Glaskham - hope AF stays away and you get a nice strong BFP

I've just been out on my bike again and did 1.5 miles this time so feel a bit better as that's 2.8 miles today now (I have a little computer thing on my bike that gives me speed and distance)

Gruff - glad you did those tests and even more pleased with the results! Congratulations!!!

GYo · 10/08/2008 15:27

Hi Glask- enjoy ebay browsing

Right Im off to sort out my clothes. Need to pack away the jeans I just cannot wear anymore

back laters

glaskham · 10/08/2008 15:24

afternoon all!! I cant test till tomorrow afternoon at the earliest!! I am due some tests in the post so will keep FMU and test once they come with the postman- failing that i'll get DH to take me out to get some to test with. AF is due tomorrow, so if i have no spotting then i'll be wanting to test.

I dont want to take the faint + yesterday as i am, as i'd be very upset if AF arrived then!!

My sister is here atm so we're off to browse ebay for baby bits!! she's 15wks tomorrow!! and still not showing yet!!

GruffaloSoldier · 10/08/2008 15:21

Hee hee! such a relief! I was a bit worried as the cheapies were really early etc. Feels a bit more real seeing it on the Tesco one especially as hadn't waited 4 hrs so was preparing to see nothing!

Can ring the docs tomorrow now and get an appointment.OMG!

They are both stronger than one on Thurs too so that must be good.

Ok i better stop hogging this thread

GYo · 10/08/2008 15:17

Hurray!! [gri n]

Congratulations again!

You must be very relieved to see it again.

Time to buy more baby mags!

GruffaloSoldier · 10/08/2008 15:16

STRONG BFP ON BOTH

YIPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!

GYo · 10/08/2008 15:14

and?

GruffaloSoldier · 10/08/2008 15:13

OMG Gyo - that makes me look so bad - think im on my 5th or 6th baby mag! (im a sucker for all the freebies )

Ok so ignored all of your advice and did not wait 4 hours and did not wait for FMU.

Just did cheapie 10 miu and Tesco 25 miu....

GYo · 10/08/2008 14:58

Hi Ses, Tink, Gruffalo

Gruff- lol re baby mags, I've just been to Sains and bought "pregancy & birth" - first one ever and its only mildly freaking me out. Though DH's eyes nearly popped out of his head

GOod luck with the tests - do FMU tomorrow morning

Tink, love the new name and I cant believe that you are 17.5wks. It feels like only yesterday you posted to say you were 11wks!

Ses- good luck with the cycling/ fitness

PS- I feel like fraud buying pregnancy mags and Im nearly 9wks - was glad I could hide it amongst my shopping!!!

SesQal · 10/08/2008 14:45

IKWYM about buying baby mags - I've resisted so far....
As for your pg tests, I'd save up 4 hours of wee and then give it a go as it'll only play on your mind otherwise (well it would if it was me...) Either that or use FMU tomorrow. I'm sure from what you've said it will only serve to put your mind at rest

I know I do really need to think about my fitness levels. I've never been really overweight or unfit but for the last year I haven't really done much in the way of exercise and I guess now is as good a time to start as any! Tbh, I think I just need to be tough with myself and push myself a bit more.

GruffaloSoldier · 10/08/2008 14:39

Afternoon!

Ses - my DH just made me walk all way to Tesco and back - although he didn't make me carry much He reckons he is my personal trainer Seem to be a bit less snuffly now too

We might be going cycling later. It is a good idea to concentrate on fitness!

I bought a baby magazine today too, I did buy them before but felt a bit of a fraud (in a nice way).

Got some pg tests too but Im a bit worried to do them!

Tink - it is reassuring to know that you find your pregnancy is rushing by!Great that you are feeling lots of movement - I have heard it can be a great bonding experience.

SesQal · 10/08/2008 14:17

Hi tink - like the new name
17 and a half weeks is nearly half way!!!

I've decided to try and get a bit fitter and trimmer. Just been out for a bike ride for the first time in nearly a year and feel v pathetic as only did just under a mile. I used to do a weekly cross country up and down hill. Plan is to go out again a bit later and do a bit more and then try to get a few rides in during the week so I can gradually build up....

Gruff - sorry you're sufferring with cold/hayfever. Hope you got your fresh air and are feeling a bit better.

tinkispregnantwithpickle · 10/08/2008 13:00

GruffaloSoldier · 10/08/2008 12:04

Wow Gyo - 99 is very impressive!

Yeah I am quite thrilled with an april baby as it is only one of two months without immediate family birthdays!

Me and DH are having a very chilled day today as the last two weeks have been a bit hectic - it feels good!

Have a streaming cold too, or maybe hayfever?

Might walk in to town in a minute and get some sunshine! (have to get dressed first though!

GYo · 10/08/2008 10:00

Morning Tink, Gruff

I had that early morning waking thing at first. It did get better but i've found I have to go to bed early to get up at 6am for work so its hard to change it at the w/ends!

16th April is a great date and will be my grandpa 99th (!!)

April is a lovely month to give birth- start of spring etc

Funny how friends kinda of guess and ask . We told all our friends we'd wait til after Jan 09 to start TTC so no one has asked us. Though Im avoiding alchol situations for now as I know that will bust me straight off!

I've still not told my dad and stepmother. They are on holiday now so will wait to after 12wks scan.

Was sunny here but now gone a bit cloudy.

GruffaloSoldier · 10/08/2008 09:51

Morning everyone!

Nice to see you back Diege!

Had a great time at the wedding yesterday - was a really lovely day!

I am having the weirdest symptom of waking up so early and being wide awake which is so unlike me that DH is finding it very amusing as before I would never wake up before him. Especially on a sunday!

Gyo - I am feeling very excited but also worried at the same time! I'm still knicker checking every now and again. I have told some close friends as they knew we were ttc!Plus when they asked I couldn't keep a straight face!

My two sisters also know as we are very close and if anything happened I would need them to be there.

Now my two sisters know though I feel bad that my Mum doesn't know as I think she would be quite hurt. I am planning to do a shop bought test tomorrow and then might tell parents. If anything happened I would tell them so think I should probably tell them.

My edd is around the 16th April I think - but am a bit unsure as I haven't had a period since I came off the pill so it really is just a guess!

tinkisagracefulshamu · 10/08/2008 09:28

GYo · 10/08/2008 09:14

Hi Diege
Welcome back- great to have you. Glad your hols were enjoyable.

Great to hear that you are all set to TTC again next month. I reckon being anxious is completely normal and it sounds like you are completely prepared with vitamins etc

Morning everyone else

SesQal · 09/08/2008 20:13

Diege Welcome back! Glad you had good hols.
Probably good plan to wait for AF. I've now had 2 AF so hoping to give ttc a good go this cycle - currently cd7. Pleased you're feeling more positive and it's great to have you back with us!

Diege · 09/08/2008 20:06

Hello! Back from hols today. Had a great time in Whitby, and am looking foirward to starting to ttc again after af arrives. Def ovultaed a few days ago, but resisted tempatation to gof as want to wait a clear cycle. Will be good to go asap .
Have spent last 40 mins reading through thread, and the last one (was anxious about Pop's scan)but seem to have forgotten who's got bfp!! Glaskham , Gruffolo??, anyone else?? Many, many congrats!!! .
Feeling quite anxious about ttc if I'm honest, but am taking some posh supplements (even posher than the Zita West ones, good eh )am following a very healty diet, and have also given up caffeine. Had bad migraine for 3 days, but now feel so much more clear headed and full of energy!
Hope it's ok launching myself back in to thread, but feeling very positive about ttc now and very much looking forward to the whole ttc malarky!

glaskham · 09/08/2008 19:24

Oh glad you can see a line too tink!!!

Sounds exiting that your ready to get the house on the market!!

I've had such a lazy day today!! I made a lovely salad for lunch, have done a couple of loads of washing and drying (weather is crap here today!!), and had a sleep on the couch while DC's had their naps and DH played Xbox!!

Hoping the weather is a bit nicer tomorrow and next week as we have a couple of days out planned!!

as for symptoms (other than my very faint line).... i have really sore boobs today, obviously feelign very tired (hence the sleep) and thats about it.... and most of them are the same as my pre-AF symptoms... we'll see!!

tinkisagracefulshamu · 09/08/2008 16:31

hi

have finished blizting house ready for viewings now so going to contact agent we are going with to start the ball rolling.
i can see a line glas and monkey looks good to me

GruffaloSoldier · 09/08/2008 13:30

Hi guys

I had a strong line on 10 miu cheapie from access diagnostics - DH still said 'its a bit faint isn't it? all i can say is men!

I should also point out that I had no idea when I was due to test therefore I could be a few days after missed AF hence the 'strong' line

I am going to do FR or Tesco on monday and check. Then if all ok, going to go to docs to see about dating scan.
