tinkispregnantwithpickle · 11/08/2008 14:18

glaskham · 11/08/2008 14:10

your profile isn't public cals so i cant see yours.

glaskham · 11/08/2008 14:09

no it was the 15th july.

glaskham · 11/08/2008 14:09

I haven't looked to be honest!! the first day of my last period was the 11th july i think!! will go check my diary!!.... would that make me around the 16-18th april 09???

calsworld · 11/08/2008 14:03

Like I said, its far stronger than mine was - mine are still on my profile so you can compare if you like!

In the event that you are pg, what would be your EDD? (You can't tell me you haven't looked - I knew my EDD for every month of TTC!)

glaskham · 11/08/2008 14:02

Maybe I ovulated a few days late this cycle??... I'm pretty sure i did a late OPK after i thought i'd had ovulation... am going back to check!!

glaskham · 11/08/2008 14:01

well not gushing or anything, not been back to check on bleeding!!.... will probs put a pantyliner on to be safe though. If AF comes then i'll just wait it out and see how it goes... But i'm glad you think its a BFP!! I thought it was too faint to be called a real BFP!!!

Wont add myself to the list yet though (will wait for confirmation in the form of no AF)!!

calsworld · 11/08/2008 13:58

for you! I just went and looked again, its def. a positive test - I assume there's been no more bleeding?

glaskham · 11/08/2008 13:57

Haha!! I so wanted to do a honk myself but i dont know wether to believe it!!

calsworld · 11/08/2008 13:56

Glaskham that so looks like a Big Fat Positive to me! That's brighter and clearer than my first BFP on a morrisons own brand one.

Where are the rest of the wagonners to agree with me........

HHHHHHHHHHHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNNNKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

glaskham · 11/08/2008 13:52

picture of test uploaded

glaskham · 11/08/2008 13:48

They were numark tests (pharmacy own, but looked just like the own brand ones i got from asda once.)

I think i've binned the test in a strop with the bleeding... will dig it out for a picture though... it was within the time frame that it showed!!

Postman only comes once here so will defo have to wait till tomorrow at the earliest- have already used £6 worth of tests today.... DH wont be happy if i buy more!!

GYo · 11/08/2008 13:44

Hi Glask - how confusing.
Do you have another test? I'd be tempted to keep an eye on the spotting and then test first thing tomorrow with fresh FMU...
Sorry it must be so frustrating for you

calsworld · 11/08/2008 13:42

Glask - what make was the test? Can you post a piccy? AF is due today isn't it, its possible to get bleeding around then when you're pregnant isn't it....things are still looking optimistic for you - I've got everything crossed.

Unfortunately, I think its one of those things you're going to have to wait out - either AF will show in force sometime today, or your tests will arrive.

If they do arrive today, I'd suggest waiting till tomorrow to see if you can get a stronger BFP , coz obviously you'll be overflowing with patience right now, right?

glaskham · 11/08/2008 13:34

Well no tests arrived in the post and I was naughty and got a pack of 2 tests. Came home and stuck one into my FMU but it was dodgy and I had to remove the lid and shake it before it even started to absorb anything.... anyhow that was a BFN....

then not happy with the test I went and poas after only 2hrs since my last wee.... that one was a faint BFP.... but I then wiped myself and got a tiny bit of blood (actually tiny tiny clots of blood)... so i'm so in two minds...

even DH can see the lines on this test and said its much stronger than the other days!!

Anyone any Idea???

Playingthe9monthwait · 11/08/2008 13:27

Afternoon all,

Welcome back Deige. Glad you had a good holiday. You are sounding very positive and healthy.

Not gonna be posting much as feeling pretty damn ropey and trying to actually do some work whilst at the same time sit and my desk and not throw up . Lovely. 10 weeks now so it must end soon! I am well and truly fed up of it now, bring on the second trimester.

I'll of course still be doing a bit of lurking!

calsworld · 11/08/2008 13:13

Hi guys, just spotted this thread re free clearblue pregnancy tests which has been posted by MN HQ....thought there might be some interest?

MMMMMMMMMMMMM CAKE!

Glask, I think you just have to dissolve some coffee in hot water then add to the sponge mix and butter cream! Send me some over when you're done? Have you tried looking on the recipes board? They have all sorts of lovely recipes over there...

Hi Tink, can't believe your 18 weeks already!

Did I post that I had an email from Kay to say she's fine, just still having traumas with internet access? She's had her 20 week scan and knows what she's having........but I've promised not to tell, she's going to post when she can!!!

Haven't heard from Sorky for ages though...

GYo · 11/08/2008 12:41

All this talk of cake is making me very peckish. Really fancy a nice thick slice of choc cake with coffee icing. Even though i know it will make me feel a bit sick!

Yummy

Very quiet on here today....

tinkispregnantwithpickle · 11/08/2008 11:43

hi cal

glaskham · 11/08/2008 10:56

Anyone know a simple recipe for a coffee sponge cake?? I don't like coffee but I'm fancying a coffee cake with coffee cream on top!! I think I could just replace the water in the sponge mix and butter-cream mix with expresso coffee instead.... anyone tried it???

postman still hasn't been- I'm off to the shops for some little bits for my cake and wonder wether i'll be able to resist the pharmacy!!!

calsworld · 11/08/2008 10:31

HBJB, welcome back to the thread, the break away does everyone good every now and then I think! Here's hoping that along with the looming hospital appt, fate lands the right way for you this month!

Glaskham, I hope things work out soon for you but hope you can find time to relax too, you sound a little stressed about it all, I know what its like, I've been there too but try and make sure TTC is still fun !

I'm really glad you got things sorted with your DH, they do say the silliest things sometimes - I think its their way of dealing with the disappointment though, putting on a macho front.

Diege, good to see you back on the thread, am very of your 9 pound loss! Am not feeling so of your organic porridge though
