Right ladies I am off now. DD is much better but I feel really ill. Have been sick this afternoon and dont feel very well at all... I think I have her bug... Not nice at all.

Speak tomorrow if I am better...

Dalrymps · 17/08/2008 13:51

Yeah I thought it was more of a pattern of temps, can't wait to see my chart for this month once i've filled it in, according to ff i'm on my 'fertile days' now which is weird to think even though we're not ttc this month

tinkispregnantwithpickle · 17/08/2008 13:29

hi ladies

lardy sorry for your bad night hope that dd is ok now is exciting when you feel them move
d ye like ses says it is a pattern of temps you are looking at not one temp good luck as yes i did conceive on my first chart temping stopped pill and got pregnant in 3 months.

Diege · 17/08/2008 11:44

Thanks Lardy!

lardybump · 17/08/2008 11:34

Go diege....... I can not wait I am so excited for you.... Roll on two weeks time!!!!!

Diege · 17/08/2008 11:30

Twins!!!! DH would be delighted I think, but me a little less so . I have read somewhere that your womb is more receptive for a few months after a mc, and this month I was drowning in EWM - was hard to not gof, but pleased to be looking forward now .

lardybump · 17/08/2008 11:07

Oh my god I missed it.....

Diege welcome back off the waggon!!! I am so pleased AF has arived. I spoke to a friend who had a mmc recently. She waited a month and then started trying again... She got pg straight away and is 12 weeks and huge now with TWINS.........

So how would dh feel about going up to 5 dc deige????

Diege · 17/08/2008 11:04

Morning Poor you Lardy, you must feel shattered! I also had an interrupted night with dds, but just general naughtiness rather than sickness . Hope you get a chance to rest later - and yes you can catch up with the repeats on Sunday pm . Not too early to feel movement I'd say (I felt movement with dd3 at around 13 weeks).
Hope you had a lovely meal last night KOOKY, and sorry you're feeling so bad. Look forward to seeing you back next week .Hi DAL! Good luck with the temoing - never done it myself, but there are others who are experts on here! Think TINKS conceived forst cycle of temping?
Hi SES, yes good to get the ball rolling again with af . I'm counting today as cd1 though, as yesterday's spotting disappeared and today is first proper day I think. Where are you up to now in cycle?Right, dh itching to get on so back later!

SesQal · 17/08/2008 11:04

Morning all

LB - sounds like you didn't have a very good night but hopefully dd is recovered now.

Dalrymps - Sorry can't remember where you are in your cycle but one temp won't really tell you much, it's more the pattern and looking for consistent changes. When you register with Fertility Friend they offer to email you with a lesson a day for 20 days which covers temping and other fertility signs. I did it (it's free anyway!) and I learnt a lot from it.

I'm still waiting for confirmation of ovulation. I'm hoping it's today.....

lardybump · 17/08/2008 10:51

Morning everyone. Hope you are all well. I was up all last night with dd as she was sick all night. Bless her!!! She seems as bright as a button this morning so I really hope it was a one off. I am so tired now I am falling asleep at my desk....

I missed x factor last night diege but I see it is on a 1 this afternoon and 8 tonight are these last nights show repeated???

Cant wait to get my results tomorrow I am so excited as I think (although I am sure you will tell me I am mad and that it is to early) i felt the baby last night!!!!!!

Dalrymps · 17/08/2008 09:42

Morning

I took my temp this morn was 36.52 but no idea what that means as I haven't got any others to compare it to yet. I have plotted it on my ff chart though

How are you today?

tinkispregnantwithpickle · 17/08/2008 09:23

morning

hi kooky meal sounds great you are having a long cycle sounds interesting not over till red witch show her ugly face

daly good luck with ff

Dalrymps · 16/08/2008 21:35

Wow thatnks for the warm welcome everyone!
I'm off to look on that fertility site now, my thermometer arrived this morning .
Went to visit our niece today, she's 3 and a half months younger than ds and soooo sweet. It got me thinking, I wonder if we'll have a boy or girl next time? I can honestly say I really don't mind, I would be delighted to have either!

SesQal · 16/08/2008 18:21

Great to hear from you kooky but sorry you're feeling a bt mixed up. I know what you mean about chilling, and the more you tell yourself to chill, the harder it is sometimes! Meal out for you and DH sounds good. Hope the kittens doing ok!

kookykid · 16/08/2008 18:14

Hi all,
Lost you again so quick message to get me back on board! I'm all of a muddle AGAIN this cycle - I am on CD35 and still no sign on AF and got a BFN with a FR this morning, having convinced myself I must be pg with such a long cycle (never gone on this long before). Actually losing sleep over it which can't be good either way! I know I probably need to chill out about it, but SO HARD to do!

Hope you all enjoy XFactor tonight - my lovely ILs have offered to babysit DD tonight so DH and I can go out for a rare restuarant meal.

Back home on Monday so hope to be a bit more of a regular wagoner again!

tinkispregnantwithpickle · 16/08/2008 17:54

great news diege

you have been busy cal

we have booked a 3d scan for 27th of sept when i will be 25 wks

SesQal · 16/08/2008 17:42

Diege - AF CD1! - just seeing that really made me feel more positive. A bit scared but at least a bit back in control of what was happening.

Cal - all your talk of the work you, DH and Ds havedone in the garden - made me tired just reading it! Sounds v impressive though!

I did get out on my bike - another 2 miles. Could have done more actually but wanted to get back for 100m final! Glad I did - he looked like he was strolling the last 10 metres and he still broke the WR!

Tomorrow we're meeting up with my brother and SIL. They're down for the weekend from Cumbria so it's good to meet up with them. We're going to take our dogs for a walk - our two cocker spaniels and their chocolate lab. It normally gets a bit mad but they do get on v well. (That probably applies to DH and my brother as well as the dogs actually!)

Diege · 16/08/2008 17:34

Hi Cals! Yes, congrats sounds good . Probably one of the few times I'm grateful for it when ttc! Your afternoon sounds lovely. Love the idea of the pagoda - they always looks so snug . A playhouse of some sort sounds good - maybe a plastic one that can go to the next house? ( I know they don't compare to wooden ones) Have a surf on the web; sure you'll get some bargains this time of year! From memory we got one of those reversable sand and water tables from ELC when dds were little, and gave them hours of fun .
Right, I'm on a mission to get dds into PJs and into bed early (6.30) so that I can get kitchen clear and watch x-factor without interruption!

calsworld · 16/08/2008 17:04

Oooh Diege, congratulations on arrival of AF, sounds odd but YKWIM, I hope .

2bg, sorry you're taking a break but as ses said, it was the month after I took mine that I caught. It was six months for me too so know how much it hurts . Have a relaxing month and focus on your 2 beautiful girls and I'm sure all will follow in good time .

Believe me, I'm keeping everything crossed for everyone TTC that they don't have to wait too long - I've said it a couple of times before, but wouldn't it just be soooo much easier if we could see inside ourselves?

DJ jas been working in the garden all day so DS and I have been 'helping' him and just playing in the garden in general. We've killed relocated two beautiful roses to a new bed (they were in the middle of the lawn virtually ), and we've had a new retaining wall built for our lawn, which is raised and there was a gap between the wall and the lawn so DH has finished filling it in with rubble and topped it with top soil. We've got a patch of lawn that we are going to use to turf the gap between lawn and wall. The patch of lawn will then have the shed re-located on top of it. Still loads to do as you can probably tell!

When we've moved the shed, we hope to put a pergola up where it is, and have a sort of adult seating, fire pit, bbq, entertainment area....only a smallish one, but an adult cosy corner none the less.

I really want to get DS some toys to play on in the garden but am really stuck on something age appropriate that will last a little while - any suggestions anyone? I thought about getting him a play house but a) I can't find any and b) I'm hoping his grandpa is going to build him some kind of 'tree house'.

Maybe we shouldn't bother, with the pending arrival of DC2 and quality of local schools combined, we'll probably be moving house in another 18 months or so....we'll just about have finished getting this one to our liking after seven years of hard work .

Goodness....I'm waffling again, sorry!

Diege · 16/08/2008 16:29

LOL SES at standing there in your cycling shorts watching the racing .
TINKS: snap, auditions are best part by far . Dh says he's not bothered with it, but I can get him into it and before long he's hooked .
Well good news here!! Af has arrived (30 days after D&C) so I'm officially on day 1 . Scared out of my skin, but am just going to carry on with my healthy habits and try not to worry too much! Could take me months, but at least I'm offically in the game now so feeling much happier

tinkispregnantwithpickle · 16/08/2008 15:41

i xant wait till xfactor either auditions r the best bit i have been watching the running events
my friend had her 4d scan said it was amazing we are thinking of having one

SesQal · 16/08/2008 13:30

Hi Tink! Sounds like good shopping

Diege - you're as bad as me! Keep checking back in and somehow managed to watch the cycling medals. Only problem is, I've put my cycling shorts on and can't leave the tv to do my own exercise! I'll maybe try and get some in before the 100m final at 3.30pm!

DH and I both looking forward to X Factor tonight!!

tinkispregnantwithpickle · 16/08/2008 13:29

very true diege lol

Diege · 16/08/2008 13:05
