Am driving myself mad....

Symptom spotting - not due for at least another 3 days (only had one cycle since m/c in June so not quite sure) but just caved and did a HPT. BFN obviously.

But - waking most nights to go to the loo (which I never do) and could smell the red bull that someone was drinking near me on the bus the other morning. Am also feeling v sicky of an evening (had that with last pg, but clearly didn't end well )

I promised DH I'd try not to get so obsessed about getting pg again after the m/c but it's very difficult!!

Anyone else need to stay away from the clearblue for a few more days?

Good evening, sorry i have just been out with a friend for dinner, trying to keep distracted!

Yes i am testing tomorrow - don't you cave in nelix, think of the lovely surprise on Sat instead!

I don't hold out much hope tho and will await the blood test results to see what is actually wrong with me, so please ladies don't get too excited about my early morning wee but thank you for your support!

Nelix I agree with Heeby Have you got your test of choice?! (CB? FR?)

Heeby - are you testing again tomorrow? The not knowing must be driving you mad...if you need blood tests, how long will it take to get an answer?

lol thankyou for the vote of confidence......I think we all want that result tho!.....boy/girl I dont mind!....will tell results on sat.....even tho its way early to test lol I am having to busy myself with ds one today to distract from going out and buying one on the sly!!!

no sorry i meant the test stripe (as in the line to check the test has worked) was faint. sadly no second line at all ... so def not betting on myself

am afraid of hieghts too and very sick from being on a roller coaster for weeks!

You are going to be a mummy in 8 1/2 months i know it ... a boy too!

OH NO! how annoying! i did a FR yesterday at work and because i was in a rush i didn't wee long enough and it took ages to appear then the test stripe was very weak so i wonder whether it worked or not! (still clutching straws hey)

Yes someone must be preggers! come ladies get those double lines!

Well i did a test and.............the bl@@dy thing didn't work!!!!

it was a Cb and the 'test' stripe hasnt come up so now i don't know whether the BFN means anything or not (mid, I am 3 days early to be testing anyway)

It was the only one i have too so now i really can't test today. Such willpower

I think it's safe to say I won't hold out - especially as I have a party to go to on Saturday so will want to check if I am officially off the booze, or just hoping to be

Am crossing everything for a BFP on this thread in the next 2 weeks - surely one of us must be up the duff

Hey everone....we are almost one day closer to testing!
sparky I think it can be an early sign of pregnancy like heeby said it could be implantation as I am a good week from AF so I know its not my period...at least I hope its not lol!.....good lord why is the weekend SO far away!!!!!!!

thanks sparky I agree re obsession - also makes yuo more scared i think. With DS I was blithley unaware of all that can go wrong - oh to turn that particular clock back!

How is everyone this morning? Still resisting? I feel sick in the evening and actually threw up last night (sorry - TMI) but still BFN on the test (yes, I bought another, but a cheap boots own this time ). After that, I'm determined to wait until Sunday now - I'd be on CD31 if AF hasn't turned up by then (of course, I bought another twin pack, so check in again this time tomorrow to confirm my lack of self control )

eth - do we have a BFP to celebrate? (or just another early morning trip to empty the bins) Fingers crossed.

nelix having a female DP surely has several advantages (am thinking of my Men are from Mars, women from Venus conversations with my DH!) Understanding of the need to test just one of them. Fingers crossed for Saturday (is cramping a sign of early pregnancy?.....)

And ontheup welcome There are a few mc survivors on here. It's making me much more obsessed this time

Heeby - how are you feeling today? I love reflexology, I think it's perfect for making you feel a bit more balanced and able to cope (and frankly, lying in a dark room for an hour without having to speak whilst someone massages my feet is reason enough to do it!!)

nelix could it be imbedding and implantation cramps? i had these and no Af which my Dr said often happens as your uterus moves etc and the egg imbeds?

ontheup when i want to test early i kind of tell myself that the first morning wee is the only one you can test with so once i've gone in the morning i think 'oh well that's me out for another day' - this might help keep you from ripping open the wrapper!

Hi ladies can I join you? I'm ttc DC2 after an mc at Easter - due on Friday but think I have symptoms but the prob is that I had hardly any with DS so cant decide if this is all wishful thinking - I have a FR in the bathroom now but have resisted so far!!!!!

hey everyone!......I am 'allowed' to test at the weekend...even though it will be testing 5 days early, neither of us can resist....I guess thats the beurty of having a female dp, she is almost as bad as i am but trying to stop me spending loads on tests.....I would do it daily otherwise!

however I ave had cramping last night and this morning but its a full 10 days before AF is due, so dunno what that is! just hope it doesnt come early and mess up my cycle!

Good morning ladies, Thanks sparky yes i have almost taken out shares in all HPT companies! I have one CB Digi left so will wait till tomorrow to take it, then yes the Dr said to have a blood test on Friday if no news so if nothing tomorrow i will confirm the appointment.

I have almost convinced myself that i am in fact ill and not PG, that the bleed earlier was in fact a very early and light period and in fact i am now half way through my next cycle.

We have pretty much decided to wait if i am not PG and let my body settle down for a while (and find out why i do feel so poorly!)

Good luck for this weekend, i really hope the cramps don't turn out to be AF, what day will you test if not? I'd love to go for reflexology. i have a bad back at the moment and i'm sure it would help.

eth i have to laugh at your 'i'm just going to empty the bins darling, no dont get up!' tee hee ... welcome to the up and down world of ttc!

Heebychick sorry to hear you're stuck in limbo Especially if you're a week late. Did I see on another thread you've got blood tests later this week? Obviously I'd be bankrupting myself with HPTs if it were me, but are you taking a break from testing? Have everything crossed for a BFP for you. And you're right - it's definitely crap.

Hi eth - you're much more savvy than I was with DS - too much champagne and we were away . Good luck for tomorrow...have you got a test stashed away ready?! Let us know how you get on

Feel quite crampy now so think I may have imagined it all and AF must be coming. I have reflexology booked for the weekend so hoping that will help regulate everything again..it definitely made a difference last month.

Must stay positive and away from the tests!
