Symptom spotting - not due for at least another 3 days (only had one cycle since m/c in June so not quite sure) but just caved and did a HPT. BFN obviously.

But - waking most nights to go to the loo (which I never do) and could smell the red bull that someone was drinking near me on the bus the other morning. Am also feeling v sicky of an evening (had that with last pg, but clearly didn't end well )

I promised DH I'd try not to get so obsessed about getting pg again after the m/c but it's very difficult!!

Anyone else need to stay away from the clearblue for a few more days?

BFN and period pains...not looking good here but hey always next time which is only a matter of days away now no point in stressing over it...and there is still a chance as we did test one day before AF due so def waiting for another few days before we test again!

littlemissmischief · 14/08/2008 08:34

Nelix - wow at your will power! I dont think I could wait!
We dont want to tell people cos I dont want them to all get their hopes up and I want to wait till after 12 weeks too so know how you feel! Thank God for MN i would loose my sanity otherwise!
My fingers are tightly crossed for you today please come back with some good news and a BFP to give me hope. No pressure lol

nelix2000 · 14/08/2008 08:28

hey sparky yay glad this thread is still going at least till we all get there!....cd30 and d-day! I have peed in a cup (tmi) but my partner worked a nightshift last night and I promised I would not test until she got home...so I have to wait!!! lol its killing me! Keep counting! its not that long a wait now!

Hey littlemiss welcome!i know damn those pregnant people lol! i see babies every way I look!! I am in the same boat not telling anyone..although people are guessing....i dont plan on telling anyone until after my 12 weeks scan if/when it happens!take it slow and try and enjoy it. It so planned with me and DP (female) because sperm isnt just "there"....if it was it would make the process less clinical!.....will check back later with results!...eeek...I dont want to test incase its a BFN! lol!

littlemissmischief · 13/08/2008 21:07

Thanks for the welcome and letting me tag along, I really am struggling with this whole ttc stuff.. it doesnt help im surrounded by pregnant people and really want to talk to people about it but me and dp have decided not to tell anyone we are trying cos everyone wants me to have another and thinks it will happen the 1st time DP looks at me (little do they know hey) cos of last time it happened in 3 weeks of being together! Think DP is at the ed of his tether with me as he cant be right for being wrong... Just all so confusing and with not having an af date to keep me focused is making harder
Fingers crossed for all the others too x x

SparkyMalarky · 13/08/2008 21:00

Hey Nelix - am still checking in - and will of course be launching the home for those with no willpower in a couple of weeks! (CD6 now..and clearly not counting ) Happy to stay as long as anyone's here to talk to!

So fingers crossed for BFP tomorrow!! I am suitable impressed by your strength (and how's the sitting room look?)

Funtime - bugger. She's a witch alright. You must try and distract me next month.

littlemiss - welcome

Still waiting for AF here too Nelix, although the witch looks likely as I did a test yesterday and a BFN again.

Same time again next month ladies (except for Nelix, obviously, who is going to get a beautifully clear BFP tomorrow ).

Ohhh how glad am I that I have found this thread! Not glad that all you ladies are in turmoil but glad im not going mad! Im going stir crazy with the symptom spotting and wish I could just forget about it for a bit but t is on my mind all the time!
O feel with DC1 after 1 month and ddnt know I was pg to BFP so although it was a shock it was better than this. Me and DP have been trying for a few months but not properly, but this month I had ovulation pains and everything and have no convinced myself I am. I have the worse stomach cramps today too and my boobs are a bit sore so thats only made it worse. My main problem is tho that I dont have regular periods so dont know when to test or when im due or anything...so frustrating dont know what to do. Hope now all of you have BFP

nelix2000 · 13/08/2008 15:55

there are none of us left on this thread ....well I am testing tomorrow, but sad no-one else has had the results they wanted. I hope everyone gets to where they are going.

SparkyMalarky · 13/08/2008 08:36

Well AF got me this morning - am gutted as i really thought I was pg this time. Good ulck to everyone who is still waiting though.

funtimewincies · 11/08/2008 19:46

heeby sorry to hear that you're feeling so pants . Passing you a virtual stiff drink.

nelix2000 · 11/08/2008 13:04

heeby I am so sorry.....please dont beat yourself up over it. We are all guilty of maybe seeing symptons that are or are not there, its no one fault its nature, its life, its called hope. And I hope you come back, or at least read these messages knowing its still out there, we are still here. I completely understand the need/want to stop ttc or even putting it on the back burner for a bit, whatever the case take time NOT ttc and enjoy your DD and all the joy she will/does bring you!....sending love x

SparkyMalarky · 11/08/2008 11:32

Oh Heeby - am so sorry [hug]

You must wallow for a bit if that's what you need to do (cry, watch rubbish telly, eat junk, lurk on mumsnet) but you are not stupid or a loser - your body is adjusting to a tough few months - and it would be incredible if you could just bounce back from it.

Amongst it all though - try to remember that your body made your DD. You may feel (understandably) that it's let you down now, and in the past, but it's a bloody amazing thing that you did - and you can do - making a person(I think it sounds wierd when I say that!) - but it's cruel that it hurts so much when we feel we fail at it (those hormones are sent to try us all.)

We'll be here if/when you want to talk. x

OP posts:
ontheup · 11/08/2008 11:32

Heeby sweetie - all my love to you - it's cr@p isn't it? ((((((hugs)))))) Wallowing is a very healthy thing to do imo but please don't forget we are here for any mid wallow vents or rants. I'm sending you some very sticky chocolate cake to keep you company.

Did they give you any idea as to why you should have had such strong symptoms? Any other underlying reason? You're not mad or a nut case - ffs all you did was to be in tune with your body and listen to it.

I understand re giving up ttc esp if you have one lovely DC - we're the same here. Lovely DS so why get so stresed? Maybe time out is a good thing for you for a bit. Whatever you decide all my best wishes and take care. xxx

Heebychick · 11/08/2008 11:19

Hi all,

Well i am sorry to report that i did call the Dr but sadly they just confirmed that i am a total loser. My bloods were all normal, hcg was 2 (obviously not PG) nothing wrong with anything else so it is official, i am a nutcase.

I cannot do this anymore, i have decided to give up ttc. We have one beautiful DD and that is enough for me.

my body is totally shot to try and convince me i am pg without actually being pg. Thanks a lot body.

So i am now going to find a dark corner to continue to wallow for a bit, i have accepted that i am stupid and feel just that, i still have all the symptoms and they have not resulted in anything.... so that is what i shall be left with. Nice.

Lots of love and luck to you ladies. i'm not sure when/if i shall be back on here again.

sorry xx

ontheup · 11/08/2008 09:48
