Georgie2900 · 27/11/2008 17:43

well i was supposed to be getting married in August but i really did think i would have been pregnant by now so i may have to post pone wedding... not a good look, a heavy bride... hehehee

pinkie08 · 27/11/2008 17:38

Oh yes loads of pregnancies,

Have a look at some threads called Im hoping for an august baby/ im hoping for a september baby.

and also the grapefruit knicker checking brigade theres always afew a month.

I tend to get the odd pain around ovulation and also get hot flushes but thats all been lucky really

have a lovely time at disney and hope all goes well

Georgie2900 · 27/11/2008 17:31

Has anyone on here fallen pregnant on here?

Georgie2900 · 27/11/2008 17:29

ok i will keep trying... my ovulation kit says no... so i will keep going.... I did read that sperm to the egg and yeah it helped and if im the same next month i will definitley do that....

Well what can i say only good luck.... im going to Eurodisney this weekend maybe as it'll all be forgotten it may be the best time....

I'll be back on the 2nd then i'll no your results on the 5th....

Fingers crossed.....

Do you experience any pain or anything on clomid sometimes i get a sharp pain in my stomach just a bit lower from my boob, i wondered if that was anything.... it comes and goes....

I think im falling to pieces.....

pinkie08 · 27/11/2008 17:21

I would just keep going this month at least every other day until you either get a positive on a pg test (BFP) (big fat positive) or that horrid AF.

Have a read of the link i sent you earlier it explains it all alot better.

I agree with you its a pain when it gets like this whole timed thing, but then i also think that the clomid can only work if we bding on the right days.

i try not to tell my hubby that its a crucial night and that seems to help

Georgie2900 · 27/11/2008 17:14

Well your still young and you have a daughter too so thats good you can fall pregnant... im over weight too, which doesnt help i no, but thats a vicious circle cause i love a bar of chocolate when im depressed....

Ive certainly learnt alot from you today though, so thank you... i think im like you mid cycle, i think im due on, on the 8th Dec...

Im 29 and have a little boy who is 3 in Feb, i never dreamt of having a big age gap and my son he was an accident....so i find this all very annoying trying to plan whens the best time etc plus the spark goes in the bedroom and seems more of a chore.....

Am i passed the chance now then am i too far in my cycle now????

pinkie08 · 27/11/2008 16:58

HI

I am 35 just this month and i have a daughter who is 8. she is from a previous marriage and after all the tests my progesterone was low after 2 consecutive months of tests, so was given clomid,

i responded like you to 50 mgs so am hoping and praying that will get my baby.

I guess i have used the clearblue ovulation kits every month. ( only didnt on the first where thought just leave it to nature, yeah right)

It is very upseting for us when all around you seems to be babies but just look how many threads there are on here with people ttc (trying to conceive) so you not alone.

I am into my 2 week wait (due 5th dec) so am bored and despondent and hopeful and all the other things that we all feel at this stage.

No those other halves do not understand, am with you on that.

Georgie2900 · 27/11/2008 14:47

Thanks.... oh right the deed.... lol.... My other half always says theres always next month... im like rarrrrrrrr!!!!!!! shut up!!!!! they dont understand you feel not a proper women - well i do... then everyone around me falls naturally..... How do you know you'll ovulate every month???

How old are you if you dont mind me asking and do you have children already???

pinkie08 · 27/11/2008 14:40

Really sorry about your mum

baby dance is doing the deed to conceive

been trying for about a year, am on my 3rd clomid month and my hubby keeps saying this is going to be our month but do get a bit down hearted about it.

Georgie2900 · 27/11/2008 14:35

I feel so awful whats baby dance????

Georgie2900 · 27/11/2008 14:34

my periods stopped due to me loosing my mum in september so my last period was actually in june as got worse they gave me provera to start them up again which worked.... How long you been trying?

pinkie08 · 27/11/2008 14:29

sorry its baby dance

Georgie2900 · 27/11/2008 14:25

does bding mean bleeding?

pinkie08 · 27/11/2008 14:22

Ok so dont worry you will have oved.

Sorry i got confused thought this was your first month on clomid.

i am also on 50mgs, dont worry if you oved on it last month you will this month too.

Have you been bding anyway,

Georgie2900 · 27/11/2008 14:19

I had my first blood test on day 21 last month which showed i ovulated so they said i didnt need to have anymore blood tests... i started testing on day 11 and my period was on hte 11th Novemeber took clomid on the 12th just 50mg.....

pinkie08 · 27/11/2008 14:18

OPK is ovualtion predicor kits

pinkie08 · 27/11/2008 14:16

on the sperm meets egg plan it is said to keep testing for 10 days, you may need to start a new pack, but its worth it. ]

also you should be having a blood test this first cycle on day 21 so that will show when you oved.

When did you start testing and when did you start bding,

Georgie2900 · 27/11/2008 14:13

Im not good understanding these abbreviations lol... what does opk's mean??

Georgie2900 · 27/11/2008 14:11

Day 17....

pinkie08 · 27/11/2008 14:09

Ok lets start with this

what cd is it today?

Georgie2900 · 27/11/2008 14:08

Hey...
I take my clomid tablets day 2-6 and i have bought a clearblue ovulation kit, but no smiley face....

I would just like to no what to do for the best cause surely a negative mind wont help!!!!

pinkie08 · 26/11/2008 13:45

Hi Georgie,

They say that ovulation occurs anywhere from 5-9 days after your last tablet. Which cd days do you take your tablets?

Are you using any ov prediction methods?

I agree that we are supposed to go with the flow but sometimes need abit of guiding in right direction.

If you look further back you will see the sperm meets egg plan, which quite afew of us are following

Have you been writing down when you been bding?

sarashy · 26/11/2008 10:41

hey georgie, we all know how you feel. how long is your cycle, reasons for going on clomid ect... n im sure one of us will be able to answer your questions. have you been doing opk's

Georgie2900 · 26/11/2008 10:24

Hello....

I found this sight whilst looking up details of clomid, this is my 2nd month on it and today is day 16 in my cycle, when is the best time to try???? i feel really down especially when people around me are falling quickly without the clomid... i dont have to have anymore blood tests as my previous one showed i had ovulated so im supposed to just go with the flow apparently....
Can anyone give me some happy advice???
