ok so got the better of me. done a test. still bfn and still no sign of af. argh !!!!
getting frustrated now wish it would stop getting my hopes up like this.

You've been badly fobbed off here and what is worse you've been given a drug treatment without any proper evaluation (along the lines of blood tests and or ultrasounds) beforehand. Clomid is quite powerful stuff and not everyone is suitable to take it in the first place. Also you do not have a diagnosis.

That is absolutely appalling on the part of the GP, I'd complain to the PCT. I would also move GP practice or at the very least now see a different GP; you've been given very poor service here.

I would also insist on now being referred to the subfertility unit at hospital; gynaes generally like to see people after 12 months of ttc without success. Both of you need to be further tested. Any test result over 6 months old needs to be discounted; you need up to date results and more than one semen analysis.

I have to go for another scan on tuesday!!! the nurse said sunday and tuesday i should be ov, so the dp is on a strict schedule this weekend!!!!

well sarashy i wouldv'e done another test by now cos i am so impatient! but best bet is to wait till sun or mon and test again, my fingers are so tightly crossed for you! we won't be bd tonight as i've given him the night off, poor thing knackered from wednesday night and last night but he is ack to work tommorow night!!!! just booked a hotel in yarmouth on wednesday and thurs night, going to the fireworks display there! could really do with a break, may make me relax a bit. which means no internet for 2 nights!!!!!!!!anyway hope you all doing ok. baby dust to all of us. xxx

Well af still didnt start. cant bring myself to do another test yet as im still living in hope and the test two days ago was neg.

i went to the hospital today, i have 3 nice size follices and i should be ovulating sunday and tuesday!!!!!! so i will be in bed all wknd long

I have to go back tuesday reason being as my doseage of clomid has gone up they want to make sure that i don't get pg with twins/triplets?
I feel good as the metformin has finally agreeing with me and i am losing weight so it is all systems go. I hope sept is my month!!! baby all the way ladies..... i hope we all have good news in the next couple of weeks.....
i better get my dp some red bull he is going to need something to help replenish is stock!!!!

Do you mind if I join you and gatecrash the thread? You all sound fab - and the idea of being able to 'talk' to people who are in the same boat is just fantastic.
So you know something about me (on the off chance you're intertested!) my basic stats are: DH & I have been ttc for 12 months. His swimmers are basically fine (slightly low count, but motility OK). Have just taken first round of clomid (50mg days 5-9). Thought I was lucky and had no side effects but then the day after I took the last tablet I began to get ghastly headaches and nausea which lasted on and off for about five days. I was also unbeliveably moody (even I found I wanted to rip my own arm off just so I had something to slap me with - so the fact DH was so fantastically tolerant is a source of great wonder to me). Am 32 (just!... 32 and 2 days in fact) so not exactly ancient - but am suddenly panicing now that the whole conceiving thing is all proving to be a lot less straight forward than I thought it would be...

hello girls, had my scan today they said i will be ovulating early this weekend in fact and i have 2 eggs!! just the problem of actually getting pg now, dp has low motility only 30% of his little fellas swim forwards!! and he refuses to give up smoking, so if this doesn't work we won't be allowed ivf because of the smoking!! fell a bit more positive now i know i'm ovulating tho. it all up to him now!! fingers crossed, hope you all getting on ok.

tell me bout it i nearly wet myself when had scan when i was pg with my son. question for anyone who may know the answer, is it poss to ovulate as early as cd9/10 as i have some pain on left side and dp just checked my mucas and thinks that i may be ovulating, which means we been doing it the wrong time every month, is it best to do it every day or every other?

lol it makes it even worse when the press on your belly to do the scan. i had to go back as told bladder not full enough, which was awful as i already needed to pee. x

will do, just hope i can hold all the water in that they make you drink!! i don't know if it the clomid or my ibs but i need to pee constantly!! this gonna be fun. x

Well numpty so far good ish no sign of af but did a test this morning and was neg. just keeping my fingers crossed its to early to tell. If not it could be a good thing im a few days late as it will mean i can start my first round of clomid this month rather than next.
Hope everything goes well with yur scan tomos my fingers are crossed for you to and for the job.
I know how you feel about the nights thing, i do semi permenant nights n it doesnt go well for the ovulating thing.
Bad Bad thing happened today though. i got a needle stick injury off a dirty needle at work, and have been told not to have unprotected sex untill i get the all clear and that if i am pg then ill have to start on profalatic drugs. which could harm the baby. still hopefully low risk n theyll rush the results through, but im still pooing myself.

Big fingers crossed. AF is due tomorrow really hoping it doesnt happem so i dont jave to start my first round of clomid. Dont feel pg though.

i'm gonna get a job with much less stress, i really don't care about the pay cut anymore, as long as i am calmer and have less stress in my life! maybe will stand more chance of getting pg now that i'm happier, just got to stop other half from drinking on sunday night, got my scan on friday to see if i'm gonna ovulate this month so fingers crossed!! he got 2 weeks of work so we can get down to it. it has to happen this month cos next month he will be back at work and we won't get a chance as he works nights and i ovulate midweek!!! not good! god i feel fat, not a great start for setting the mood. hope you all well. good luck to all of us. hopefully i will also get job i applied for. take care all. xx

thought that due to ttc for so long they might see me sooner..but was wrong.
7 months is ridiculous! i seriously will get some kind of treatment sooner than this

Numpty - I have had pretty bad side effects so feel your pain. Sitting at my desk and cant even do my trs up as so bloated and uncomfortable. Worse thing is its because im ovulating but the last thing I wanna do is get jiggy when I feel fit to burst.

Oh well im sure we will all carry on reguardless until we have our bundle of joy.
