Hey pinkie,

You on CD27? I'm CD 26. How long is normal cycle? mine is normally 30-35. You never know we are both on first month fingers crossed I'm wishing you so much luck.

Thought perhaps we could support each other in the run uo to AF.

ray81 · 07/10/2008 17:43

Hey Nandos,

surely thats a very good sign that BBs are hurting esp if its not a normal sympton for you. When did you Ov? do you track it ?

I am on day 26 but my periods sort of come when they feel like it. Last month it was 28 days exactly but the month before it was 38 days so it can be difficult to predict, i find when i'm waiting for it it seems to take longer it must be psychological and my BBs are very sore but i always get sore BBS. I think my LF is about 16 days, i Ovd about day 16-17 so i have about 6 days to go before i will be due. I hate this waiting for it though it seems to take forever to come and then if it just a few minutes late i'm on edge hoping this month will be it!!!!
I realy dont think it has happened this month for me but being on here has realy helped, i tend to go on and on, he he but it helps just to get it all out and know there are others that understand. Thanks for the good luck i need all that i can get at the moment, and very good luck to you i'm wishing for everyone that it will happen for them.

Baby dust to you.

nandos · 07/10/2008 13:52

hey cam

am on CD 15 of CD31 today nd my bbs are starting to hurt?? its too early for any PMT and i hardly have this symptom when period is nearing...so strange. hope its a good sign though..
btw fingers crossed for you too ray81

ray81 · 07/10/2008 12:37

Hey Pinkie,

You never know you may be plesantly surprised i realy hope it works for you. I'm glad the bloods came back good at least it is working for you. I'm keeping everything crossed.

Hey Vics,

Not feeling to bad today i had a very long chat with my mate last night and she realy gets how i feel, i think thats coz every other time its happened with others she always been the one i talked to so she realy knows how i am and that its not personal to her just that it feels unfair to me.
I'm feeling tired on clomid and hot flushes but other than that ive not had anything else. My boobs are soooo sore but i know thats the clomid to it enhances pmt. Due in about 8 days or so i'm keeping fingers crossed but dont think it has worked this time. Oh well if it hasnt at least i can try again next month, would realy love to be one of those that it happens first time for though.

Cam,
fingers crossed for you, like you said it just takes one i have lots of poitive feelings for you.

thanks guys for all your support it realy has helped.
Baby dust to all.

Vics32 · 07/10/2008 08:38

ray81 · 06/10/2008 12:32

Hi Vics,

Welcome to the site, i have only just started coming on here to and have found it very encouraging to read other peoples stories and successes. It is soo hard when you fnd out friends are pg you want to be sooo happy for them but cant help feeling so devastated for yourself. I hate it., its the worst thing about ttc.

Clairebear,
Thanks for the words of encouragement its realy nice to know that i'm not on my own and not a complete b**ch for feeling this way as i sometimes feel that i am. I'm the same as you i found out on fri and felt fine until i got home and had time to think about it, it all started going over in my head and i just felt like life isnt fair and i must be an awful person. I have been so good for around a year now and have been putting ttc to the back of my mind, not talking about it not tracking AF just going with the flow but that doesnt seem to have helped either i realy feel like i'm at the end of my teather and cant take anymore.
As you can see feeling more positive today he he NOT. Trying to pull myself out of the depression but not sure the clomid is helping either as it enhances the Pmt which i get quite a bit anyway.
Its great that the clinic is doing something to find out whats wrong but i realy hope the tabs work for you so you dont have to go through all that, make sure you let us all know whats happening and i'm here if you need to talk at all.Where are you in cycle at Mo? i will pray for you. I'm not a great believer but will try anything so think it may be worth it.

Love and hugs back and lots and lots of baby dust to you.

pinkie08 · 06/10/2008 12:04

hi clairebear

its not been that long - 10 months but i have a miscarriage history (have a dd from previous marriage) so did routine tests and i dont ovulate properly. dh tests came back good but i have still put him on ferticare and proxeed plus anything to increase chances.
love and baby dust

clairebear88 · 06/10/2008 11:21

Hi

Pinkie - welcome
Your in the same boat as me as ttc after getting married - how long is it for you?. Have you or dh been diagnosed with any problems before going on clomid? Im afraid it is disheartening when you know af is coming but it is only the 1st month and you need to be positive for future months if this one fails. As you have probably read on here that side effects of clomid are quite close to pregnancy so dont uncross them fingers till af is here.
Good luck and baby dust to you and dh

pinkie08 · 04/10/2008 14:35

Hi
I am new to this site but was looking for some positive feedback. Have been ttcing since got married and have just finished first round clomid 50mgs waiting for results of day21 blood tests and am sure af is on its way so disheartening

clairebear88 · 04/10/2008 14:09

Hi

Ray I think all the girls on this thread are in or have been in your position. We al feel for you and are here for a chat. I have a few friends round me who have just had a baby or are pregnant at the mo. Im so good when m first told and am really happy for them but when im at home and start thinking about it i break down.
Please dont feel its karma and you done something wrong ( easy to say i know as I feel like that too sometimes ). Thing is you have got to be positive and stressfree to fall pregnant so its not good being in this place.
Try to pamper yourself and have a weekend away with dp to relax. Find something to take your mind off ttc ( also hard ).
I wish you all the luck in the world along with all the girls on here.

Love to you and big hugs
xxxxxxxxxx

Vics32 · 04/10/2008 12:12

Hi Ray81. I am new to this but have been reading the threads for a few weeks, wanted to say something. I am due to start clomid after 18 months of TTC and my sister in law and I were going through the same fertility treatment together. She was (and still is) a rock for me and we shared our feelings about it all regularly. I found out a month ago she is pregnant and completely broke my heart. I had no idea it was possible to feel so completely devastated and over the moon for someone at the same time. I went to see her the very next day with lots of presents and we sat and cried together. She is still my rock, and I am still there for her. One of the hardest situations I have ever been in. I totally understand. X

ray81 · 04/10/2008 10:48

Hi all,

Need some support here. Just found out that friend is Pg after her month of trying and sex once.
Cant stop crying! i am happy for her but so depressed for myself, its going from feeling calm to breaking down in full blown sobs you should see me i look awful.
Does anyone else get these feelings i hate feeling this way everytime someone tells me they are PG. Plus i know the clomid hasnt worked, like clockwork ten days before period i have sore boobs and very bad back ache and period pains.
Why not me? Have i done something realy awful to deserve this in a previous life or something.
Any tips on how i can calm down guys.

clairebear88 · 03/10/2008 20:47

hi girlies

well i had my 1st fertility clinic app today and went well. It was mainly taking all our details but she has set me up for blood tests, scan, lap & dye, and swobs for clymidia/infections. As dh has good count now it seems to be a problem with me she said. She also slated my gp for giving me clomid without doing scan first and not monitoring me all way through. She told me to finish this months clomid and dont take next months. I can then get a proper reading for blood tests and see where we go from there.
All in all im happy as im going to get thoroughly checked out.
Im still secretly hoping this months tabs will work so I wont have to go through all that. You never know

Thanks for everyones support as I think I may need alot more in the next few months.

Heebeejeebee · 03/10/2008 14:27

Hi all

Ray - that's exactly it. I told my gp and the consultant that I ov'd late in a short cycle but because I told them I used opks neither were interested and told me to stop wasting my money. I went along with the consultants dates this month and had the scan at 11 days (scan confirmed I would ov in a week) and had the day 21 blood test today, day 19!) so I'll see what they say next week. I've been trying for 18 months in total, though I had a mmc in January, so they reset the clock and I've only apparently been trying for 6 months now! This is my first cycle of clomid

Clairebear - excellent news on the count!

DungunGirl · 03/10/2008 14:08

lauralou

Ahhhh that would explain why I haven't seen you on the April thread recently!

I am 13 weeks tomorrow! Hooray!

Still not said goodbye to indigestion yet - yuk....but nauesa is starting to show signs to lifting a little.

OP posts:
ray81 · 02/10/2008 13:05

Is tiredness another side effect. Just want to sleep all the time at the moment. or that may be to do with emotions i suppose.

Heebeejeebee, ov on day 17 and then having period at day 26 isnt good is it, surley they need to lengthen your cycle. How long have you been trying? are you on clomid at the moment?

Clairebear, 16 months is a long time and i know it feels like forever when TTC. since i started trying my sister has had 3 babies , my friend has had 2, my cousin has, my other friend has and she was told she couldnt have any!! my other sister is 22 weeks. It is very hard when people all around you are getting Pg and they jjust dont understand how you feel at all and you have to try and be happy when all you want to do is cry thats the worst thing i think.

Baby dust to all. I hope it works for all os us soon.

cam75 · 02/10/2008 10:59

my darling ladies,
thank you all for your best wishes..

Heebee darling how are you? glad your ok.
I have been chilling, it's been good i have aqay from here but i am back now.

Hugs and kisses ladies xxxxx

clairebear88 · 02/10/2008 10:40

Hi

Yes feeling down is a side effect for me but its more like I have no patience and alot of things annoy me quickly. Im also quite teary all through the month when I normally just get like that at time of the month. Just try and pamper yourself and try not to get stressed it should ease as the months go on.

Laura - im glad all is going well and the sickness is easing. Cant wait to see your announcement in a few months.

Cam - Good news your dp is back and your all set for round 5. I hope the break done you both good and feel positive about the last 2 months of clomid. Im on round 5 too so fingers crossed for both of us

Heebee - I reacon you know your body better than anyone and its so annoying when doctors dont listen. keep going

Ray - I have been ttc#1 for 16 months since our wedding last year which doesnt sound long compared to some but when 2 other friends got married after you and one has just had dd and the other is 6 months gone it makes you worry.

Anyways on a good note my dh just had his 2nd sperm test results and after all the multivits/selenium and cutting down smoking he has gone from 18 million to 56 million in 3 months so thats brill.

Keep going girlies we will get through this

cx

Heebeejeebee · 02/10/2008 08:46

Hi all

Clairebear - sorry to hear AF arrived. It would have been so good to be able to cancel that appointment!

I got peak on my monitor today (day 18) and the sonographer predicted day 17 last week, so that's not too bad. The only snag is I normally have a 26 day cycle. I've been taking evening primrose oil as I've heard that helps (though stoppped yesterday) but hopefully the consultant might believe me now when I told her my concerns about my LP!

Ray - I think feeling down is a side effect (from the leaflet in my packet EVERYTHING is a side effect!). I was really snappy in the middle of the month, but haven't noticed much either. My best friend called last month to tell me she was pregnant with her second. It was my worst nightmare (friends getting pregnant again before I've managed it once) and I know she was dreading making the call..

Cam - good luck for this month!!!

Laura - congrats on the scan!
