Hi all,

sorry to hear you still haven't got a BFP Tink - seems very strange and must be very frustrating for you. I think I have read other posts where people haven't got BFps for ages after AF due so keeping my fingers crossed for you.

I'n not convinced about my faint line yesterday. had a look on the peeonastick website and think it might have been an evap line (although it was pink) - did another this morning which was BFN - i know it is very early days so am going to wait (like i should have done all along!) until Sat or Sun to test with my Clearblue trial test.

am thinking of fun things to do in the rain - have fun today all and fingers crossed for anyone testing

tink08 · 18/08/2008 09:00

i was in bed asleep at 6.30 last night coz i was sooooo tired and i slept all night !!!
but did fr test this mornin and still bfn

Hi girls, just checking in to say hello..
jlo2 thankyou for doing the list its nice to see how everyone is doing at a glance and i will not test till my name is at the top!Got a long way go yet cd9 today for me but never sure when i ovulate on my cycles so just going for it every other day..
Will be back in a couple of weeks,no doubt with a million (phantom)pg symptoms!!untill then
Good luck ladies x

littlemissmischief · 17/08/2008 15:42

Twoplease - If it helps I did a cheapy one firest and got a very faint line with my DS then tried a CB and got a much better line so if it was cheapy you could try that, otherwise I would suggest wait a couple of days then do another and hopefully it will be a nice clear line - fingers crossed for you x

twoplease · 17/08/2008 13:36

hello all, hope you have a great holiday JLo2, good luck to all those who are feeling 'crampy' maybe its somethign mroe exciting than af pains and you will still get BFPs.

ok then - i have a question. I have no idea why as I am only CD20 today, but i tested with a first response this morning, wasn't FMU but just kind of happened. I actually threw it in the bin as soon as I'd done it because i realised it was too early!! When I got out of the shower, curiosity got the better of me and i had a quick look. There is the faintest (and by faint i mean you have to look at in the right way/light)second line. Do i trust this? I am obviously not going to get too excited until i hit my AF due date (next sat or sun) but anyone else got experiences of getting a faint positive so early?

I know i ovualte pretty early as i have shortish cycles so could this be why? or is it simply a mistake and i should just wait and test again next week?

any thoughts gratefully received,

MintChocAddict · 17/08/2008 11:52

Hello leaky
Jael - Hopefully you'll know something soon. Fingers crossed for you and everyone else on here.

Jael · 17/08/2008 11:28

Hi everyone, CD22 for me today, and I was looking forward to testing soon, but apparently ovulation sticks are telling me I'm ovulating now, they've been positive for the past 3 days, even though I got positive results CCD12 too. I'm so confused, I've done two this morning to definately make sure and it 100% says I'm ovulating, I thought it was really late to be ovulating with my last period being 34 days and the one before that 29. I've done first response preg tests too just to make sure and they're both negative so I don't know whats going on with my body...

sfxmum · 17/08/2008 10:32

hi all I am firmly shutting down thoughts of symptom watching
but dd (3) just got her new big girl room and dh was telling me 'looks like the baby is no more'
am so broody

leaky · 16/08/2008 20:34

Hi everyone, can i join this thread too? Im TTC DC3 & it's been 1st mth of trying.I'm on CD21 & cycle is 33 days so I have about 2wks before i can test really.

nervousal · 16/08/2008 20:21

me too LMM - got crampy tummy so think af is on her way. Will be so disappointed.

littlemissmischief · 16/08/2008 20:20

Hi ladies, sorry there are still no BFP's although maybe there are and your all out celebrating

Dont feel very pg at all today my belly has been better although still not right but been more like period pain do not good. Apart form being ratty and extremely tired (which could be down to af) nt had any sort of sign today. Trying to convince myself im not now so I dont have such a big letdown.

Hope everyone else is doing better x

JLo2 · 16/08/2008 17:35

wishing you all well and will check in later after work and read all posts xxx

littlemissmischief · 15/08/2008 21:57

Mmmm..very strange Mintchocaddict, twice after you become preggers!
With my DC1 I only found out cos I was due to go in for an op to do with my endometriosis and I went to my mums the weekend before, I told her my boobs were really sore and she begged me to do one so that was lucky!
Well I guess we will know in 9 months if not before

MintChocAddict · 15/08/2008 21:55

JLo2. Meant to say thanks for the stats.

MintChocAddict · 15/08/2008 21:52

You could be me, Littlemissmischief.
My CD is very much an estimate as my period is very start and stop so never very sure if I've started or not. Very annoying and inconvenient when TTC.
I tried to use ovulation predictors when TTC DC1. Was quite late in finding out that I was pregnant with DC due to aforementioned mad cycles. When I looked back in my diary to work out when I had actually conceived, the predictors had indicated that ovulation had occured twice after I became pregnant! Work that one out!!
I have friends with perfect cycles though who swear by them.
Guess we'll just need to keep on guessing....

bamboostalks · 15/08/2008 20:37

Thanks JLo2, you're a great statistician! Received my free test today, I have this feeling that I am not pregnant though. . Just want it so badly. Will not test until day I return from hols, cd34 unless have AF of course.

twoplease · 15/08/2008 19:57

Evening all,

sfxmum - i got my clearblue freebie today too and my first thought was that it didn't matter if i wasted the first response i have in the bathroom cabinet by doing it too early because i have this one now!! Still got ages until testing anyway so better lock them up somewhere!

i cannot remember behaving like this when ttc DD#1! I think it was because i was happy to wait but this time i am sooooo impatient. I have read lots of the other threads about how it can take such a long time to conceive no2 so am not holding my breath. I must try to get on with life!

Good luck to anyone who is testing over the weekend!

littlemissmischief · 15/08/2008 16:41

JLO2 - Was only joking about being left out thankyou for explaining it all to me

So i am on CD25 now but dont suppose that matters much with no period or cycle date to go by?

Ive tried to go by when I concieved my DS, my period ended on the 19th of Jan and my dates said I concieved on the 30th so that was 11 days but i did a pg on the 24th Feb(25 days after conception) and got a BFN and then did one on the 28th Feb (29 days after conception)and got a BFP so working on that theory, we defo did the deed on all the right dates (excuse the tmi) but think if I have to wait 29 days again that will e into Sept!!! I cant wait that long lol.
It was so much easier with DS as I had no idea so didnt have all this waiting around!! Im so confused with it all..My brain is frazzled.
I do know im absolutely shattered everyday and am weeing for Britain but then it probably doesnt mean anything

sfxmum · 15/08/2008 16:11

hello ladies will have to catch up on the thread
just got my 'new and improved' Clearblue freebie from MN

am on CD19 of a 30 day cycle so quite a while yet to go. also not very likely to be lucky this month but who knows

JLo2 · 15/08/2008 15:59

This weekend is a bit early, but you definitely wouldn't be mad, just impatient like the rest of us

nervousal · 15/08/2008 15:56

would I be mad to test this weekend? Or should I wait til next week?? OK OK i know I should wait - but would I be mad to test this weekend????

JLo2 · 15/08/2008 15:54

Hi littlemissmischief. Didn't mean to make you feel left out, sorry

CD is the number of days into your cycle, so the first day of your last period would be CD1 and so on. I'm guessing from what you've written you must be about CD23, but that's only a guess.

The number of days between your period and ovulation can vary. Ovulation is usually about 14 days before you next period, so it depends how long your cycle usually is. If you have very irregular periods it will be difficult to guess when you ovulate.

As an example, my cycles at the moment are between 26 and 32 days, so ovulation would be between day 12 and 18 (counting from the first day of my last period)

Hope all that makes sense

littlemissmischief · 15/08/2008 13:30

I feel abit left out on the list cos I have no number so not moving up....so can some one tell me what CD is at the ignorance and then i can get on the list.

At work at the mo but still not taken my mind of all this, although my friend was stood at the front door of the office (next to my desk) and i nearly threw up form the smell. Was not liuke that a few days ago so taking te as a positive sign! My word I am setting myself up for a big fall here ladies!

Can I also ask is everyones ovulation date the same amount of days from the last day of the period or is it different for everyone?

JLo2 · 15/08/2008 12:32

Good point twoplease
That can be my new mantra 'I will not test until I'm top of the list' repeat many times over
