nobody

DH is here and FIL but they are doing building work, the only opportunity to get it done. No friends or family to help either.

Feeling very sensitive and weepy as a result of no sleep. Had no idea it would be like this

SesQal · 03/08/2008 10:08

Oh Cal - I've just had a look at your thread. What an awful time you've had you must be absolutely exhausted. You must have felt really lonely in the early hours. Do you think ds will now end up sleeping today? Is someone around today so that you can get some rest?

calsworld · 03/08/2008 09:53

Morning Ses, this is where i've been

Having a bloody miserable day and just want to cry. I've had about 3 hours shut eye and they've been poor quality as DS has been kicking me all night.

He's asking for something to eat now so we'll go into the kitchen and waste some more food as he refuses to put anything in his mouth.

Christ I'm tired. What a fucking holiday.

Sorry.

SesQal · 03/08/2008 09:08

Wow! Where is everyone??!

I'm starting to feel bit frustrated. Have been getting cramps on and off since Thurs and now constantly since middle of yesterday but still no AF. Feeling quite down as I often do before AF too. Am cd28 today and am tempted just to mope around in bed all day but have loads of boring housework to do...

After mc I was glad we'd told quite a few people we were pg as at least they knew we were having a tough time. (And we were in theory 12 weeks!) Now I feel like they all know we're ttc and the spotlight is on so that they can spot any sign we may be pg. My Mum's one of the worst. The other evening she asked me 'how my insides were' and 'did my first period arrive ok?' I felt like telling her that it was none of her business.

Sorry for the Sunday morning rant - I know I'm feeling hormonal so that's magnifying everything at the moment...

Right - I'm going to carry on with my lie in! I may as well make the most of it whilst I've no dc!

SesQal · 02/08/2008 16:28

Hi Tink

Busy as ever today. Was meant to be off work today as have already done a full week. One of my stores didn't have a pharmacist though so I went all the way down to Eastbourne to cover as law says we can't open without a pharmacist on the premises. Had to be there for 8.30 but fortunately they close at 1pm in a Saturday so I'm now home. Out again though fir a BBQ at about 5pm so I need to get ready even though all I feel like doing is sleeping!!

I think I'll try chilling tomorrow... Hope everyone else is getting some chill time this wkend?

GYo · 02/08/2008 15:58

GYo · 02/08/2008 15:57

Hi Ses- good luck in keeping strong til then I know how hard it is to wait.

Are you having a quiet W/E after the busy time with the relatives?

I've just been for hair colour cut. SOooooo much better.

SesQal · 02/08/2008 15:47

Hi GYo
Will probably test Tues if nothing happens before. My head is definitely telling me AF anytime as I'm feeling all my usual symptoms and there was only 1 vaguely well timed Gof this cycle. I know though that it only takes 1 and that AF symptoms are v similar to pg symptoms but the I just don't feel pg! Head now going round in circles!

Moosma - had a look at your chart. Don't think I'm much help though as I've only just started temping. Why are the dots in the FF graph sometimes solid and sometimes not?I had that one day this cycle on my graph too....

GYo · 02/08/2008 15:37

sorry Moosma- i'm not really any good at charts either. Im sure someone will take a look at it for you later.

GYo · 02/08/2008 15:36

Hi KK, NJ, Moosma, SesQal

Just checking in... Ses - Really got my fingers crossed for you. Do you plan to test anytime soon if AF doesnt show

Kooky- weird re the +ve- maybe worth having a GOF anyway... Not sure how accurate those kits are.

Quiet afternoon here now. Trying to have a rest despite dusting and hoovering shouting their names at me loudly.

kookykid · 02/08/2008 14:12

Hey Ses. Have everything crossed for you that it's not TEW. Sill cow - why doesn't she just leave us all alone??!

I'm never good at knowing what is EWCM and what's not. Still, I've been drinking my grapefruit juice and it's really helped with CM in general and TBH am really enjoying GOFing for the first time since DD was born .

SesQal · 02/08/2008 11:49

Hi Kooky! It is v quiet!! I'm not sure about your +ve OPK although I know sometimes your body can try and ovulate twice in a cycle. What's CM like at the moment?

I woke up crampy again this morning but still no AF. I'm CD27 today. Have other AF symptoms as my hormones are making my brain feel all over the place and I've got the usual outbreak of spots so I'm sure TEW is on her way!

kookykid · 02/08/2008 10:48

Wow, quiet, quiet, quiet on here today!

OK, someone sort this out for me - got a + on an OPK today. What is going on??

Sorry, Moos, I'm no good with charts. But, I'm a fan of testing! Go for it!

moosma · 01/08/2008 22:51

Evening all, just popping in, sorry I haven't been very good at keeping up, but I have read all of today's, just now I can't remember what I was going to say to you all!

Cal, sorry to hear your DS is suffering so badly, I don't know if it's similar but when DD2 had hand foot and mouth (did your DS have that a while ago or am I imagining things?) recently she really liked eating bananas from the fridge

NJ, our last family trip to the hairdresser cost £75! And mine was wonky! Oooh, that reminds me, all you on FB have a look at my photos, there are some of the DDs being bridesmaids for my brother's wedding

If anyone's feeling wise could somebody stalk my chart please? I know we're not actually supposed to be ttcing yet but I would like to know what the hell's going on in there! I think I might test in the morning just to rule it out, but I could do with a bit of an MN shoulder to lean on!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 01/08/2008 18:00

It has been fairly quiet over the last few weeks, think everyone is too busy either GOF'ing or being sick, I hope not both!!

OP posts:
calsworld · 01/08/2008 17:41

Can't believe how quiet its been in here today, hope all the ttc'ers are busy gof'ing!

Have a good one ladies!

C

Playingthe9monthwait · 01/08/2008 17:08

Made me chuckle too . Right think its time for me to be going home. Have a good weekend ladies.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 01/08/2008 15:37

lost of sex

Playingthe9monthwait · 01/08/2008 15:20

Afternoon all, had to actually do some work this afternoon, most put out!

Glad you're staying relaxed KK, I know people get fed up with hearing it, but it really does help. I honest believe I only caught so quickly because I really didn't expect to, so was very relaxed about it and just went for the lost of sex route. Certainly keeps things simplier!

Cal I want a nap!!!

Ses - fingers crossed its not AF and this will be your month!

Nat - hair cuts sound like a bargin to me

Cosmo - good luck with telling your parents

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 01/08/2008 15:19

KK, I am sure she thought of herself as one lucky lady to get to know your DD. On a different note, well done on being so relaxed this cycle, I am 100% certain that the more stressed you get TTC'ing, the less likely it is to happen.

Cal poor little boy Having had no (or if DS1 did have it while I was pregnant with DS2, very little) experience with CP, for the ones in his mouth, would he eat ice cream or very cold yoghurts etc? Just wondered if it would give him some relief. It might be worth asking the chemist if you can use anything like bonjella as well? Piriton is supposed to help a bit as well. And oats in a little organza bag (or some such) in his bath. Hopefully family descending will keep his mind too busy to feel poorly.

Ses I saw a picture of that girl on the front of some magazine in M&S, it is sad isn't it?

calsworld · 01/08/2008 14:49

Hi KK, that's very good re chilled outness, that's what I was like my last (successful) cycle...I'm sure it helps. Also sounds like you've got the GOF's covered well so all is left is a huge dollop of luck - I hope this is your month!

KK, can you get me some bacon and bread whilst you're out as I can't go anywhere with DS . Cabin fever. Me. After only two days....LOL, not as bad as DS who keeps asking for his shoes! He misses nursery and all his little friends

kookykid · 01/08/2008 14:45

Cal, just typed in your name wrong and it came out as cola! Your poor DS . Bless him trying to rub his tongue!

Am on CD20 today (but check me out - I had to go and LOOK! That's how chilled I've been this cycle!). Thought I'd OVd around CD16 but think I had more EWCM yesterday so we GOFed again last nigth just in case. Planning to test on the 11th with Glask and Gruffalo, but will be away with the ILs tehn so may hold out a bit longer if AF doesn't arrive.

Righto got to go and wake up DD and trawl around Tesco. Yuk.

SesQal · 01/08/2008 14:36

Hi Cal! Your poor DS! Sounds like he's got a thorough dose of the pox poor boy
