Hi all

GYo - good news about the early scan - keep us posted!

LBox - also feeling really fed up with it all at the moment. September (would have been due date) is looming and I don't even want to think about that at the moment..

I've been having acupuncture which seems to be doing something (AF has been extremely regular - now just need it to stay away!).

2note - I'm shelling out a fortune taking Zita West's conception vits as they seems to have massive amounts of absolutely everything!

GYo · 21/07/2008 11:50

Lbox- understand you feeling fed up. Must be a long road for you now.

Have you thought about having any reflexology? Not had personal experience of this but there was a lady on another thread who'd found it helpful for TTC- she had PCOS.

Try and keep smiling

Playingthe9monthwait · 21/07/2008 11:42

Hi Tink - officially 7+5, in reality 7+1/2. Going with my offical dates for now (only cos its easier) but well aware they will put me back a few days at my scan, potentially as much as a week although I would be surprised if its that much, as I got 2 really clear BFPs on CD35, so must have been "due" a few days before that. just have to wait and see, its not as if a few days will make much of a difference.

lastboxoftampons · 21/07/2008 11:40

Hi Gyo am feeling quite fed up with TTC actually, but other than that, I guess okay

2note I'm also taking Santogen prenatal - but with a ton of other supplements to try to correct various deficiencies on my part!

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 21/07/2008 11:35

GYo, oooh tomorrow, good luck and keep us posted. Well done for prompt service Mr/Mrs Doctor!!

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 21/07/2008 11:34

Too early to test for me, methinks. AF (never guessed what this stands for!) due on 28th. Determined not to do an early test so we have a week yet! Must be strong and not early test!

GYo · 21/07/2008 11:29

Got my early scan appt for tomorrow morning. Cant believe how quickly the doctor sorted it out.

2note i use pronatal vitamins and folic

how far r people i am 14 and a half wks now cant wait to feel bean move

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 21/07/2008 11:22

Thanks, playingthe9monthwait. I suppose I will just have to wait for the 28th!!

Playingthe9monthwait · 21/07/2008 11:13

HappyNewYear - tis hard to know. Could be a symptom, I had them before my BFP or it could be the mind playing tricks. Hard to tell

2note - I am taking Santogen ProNatal (which has folic acid) with Omega 3. Wanted to make sure I was getting the correct amount of vits as well as the folic acid. Taking it rather than pregnacare basically because it has a higher dose of folic acid and is cheaper

GYo · 21/07/2008 10:57

Hi Lbox

Hows things with you?

Thanks for your good wishes- not really had anymore bleeding maybe a tinybit more yesterday but I had to search for it. I guess it could have been leftover from saturday (did a lot of lifting/ stretching to open windows on sat which cant have helped).

2Notenuff- hello. do we know you ? Holland and Barratt if you are really asking

lastboxoftampons · 21/07/2008 10:49

GYo Glad your doc has been so helpful. As for the dating - they'll be able to tell you definitively at your scan. The nurse at my GP got out her wheel and was insisting too. I also tried to tell her that I ovulate late, but she wouldn't listen. When I had my scan they pushed me backed a week and I felt vindicated if not a little at having to 'repeat' week 6! Best of luck with it! Have you had any more spotting?

2notenuff · 21/07/2008 10:37

What types of folic acid is everyone taking?

glaskham · 21/07/2008 10:34

right i'm off to get myself and the kids dressed!! will probs be about later- although ds is still at nursery today and tomorrow and today we're allowed to go in for a party with the kids and to see their reports!!

tata for now ladies!! xxx

HappyNewYearFeet06 · 21/07/2008 10:34

Morning everyone. GYo your GP sounds lovely, unlike mine!

Can anyone answer my question? I have been getting up to go to the loo in the early hours of the morning for the past couple of days. Never had to before (well apart from when pg). Am only 9dpo, so am I reading too much into it? Also have a funny felling really low down. Again, probably me wanting to feel signs!

Any advice? Thanks. x

GYo · 21/07/2008 10:34

yeah he used the wheel thing- I even told him when i thought I'd Ov'd. Guess if Im right and he is wrong then an early scan will be way to early to see much.

Will see

LOL re name change - unknown one... Im sure we will work out who you are

glaskham · 21/07/2008 10:32

London trip is from the 1st Aug - 4th Aug!! I'm so exited!! We're going to see the new Batman film wjile were there too for DH's bday- he's getting so exited!!

Playingthe9monthwait · 21/07/2008 10:30

Morning GYo - glad your gp was nice. TBH gps have no idea about EDD, they use their nice little wheel which assumes you have a 28 day cycle and ov on CD14. Thats why my EDD is 6th March, when in fact it is bound to be later than that. So if you know when you ov'd I wouldn't worry, the scan will soon show who is right.

babytime · 21/07/2008 10:29

Morning

Earlyt scan GYo - thats exciting! I wonder how he worked your dates out? Did he use a little round card?

Cosmo - Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This thread is getting lucky every day.

I am going to change my name now because my dh found out my name and I hate that because I cant talk about him

GYo · 21/07/2008 10:18

Morning Playing, Tink, Glask and everyone else
Happy Anniversary any Glask ? when is the London trip??

No NJ on line this morning?

Hope everyone had lovely w/ends.

Just back from the GP re the bleeding. I was overwhelmed at how pleasant and helpful the doctor was, made me feel much more relaxed about it all and has arranged an early scan this week (awaiting day/time) to check things out.

What is weird is that he thinks I?m more like 6 or 7wks not 5 and half weeks. I know that I ovulated late which makes my last AF quite a long time ago? Not sure anyway he reckons my due date is 14/3 not 19/3.

Playingthe9monthwait · 21/07/2008 10:06

Hi Glask - congrats on your anniversary even if you don't really celebrate it!

glaskham · 21/07/2008 10:03

yeah i find dipping easier too!!

thanks cosmo- we never really celebrate our wedding anniversary- with it being so close to our 'been together' anniversary (the 11th july) and DH's bday (31st july) and on the same day as my sisters bday we tend to celebrate either side with other things!!

Playingthe9monthwait · 21/07/2008 09:59

Cosmo - I find it easier to wee into a container and dip the test in, rather than wee on the test. Maybe try that tomorrow.

Cosmogirl · 21/07/2008 09:58

Thanks Glask! Still not sunk in yet...Congrats on your anniversary!

Playingthe9monthwait · 21/07/2008 09:58

Morning all,

Deige - glad you're coping ok for now, I have been thinking of you this weekend.

GYo - I am sure the pinkish CM is nothing to worry about certainly if it hasn't escalated, but it would be worth mentioning it to your GP.

Cosmo - That looks like a BFP to me. You'll probably find that the FR tests were more sensitive then the Sainsburys tests. I know that the tesco ones read 25ml whereas I have heard that the first response can read as little as 10ml. Test tomorrow with FMU to be sure.

MamaFelix - Congratulations.

Cal - sounds like you had a good break but I think you need to go and buy a test .

Hi everyone else
