Thanks for that ladies I will only take one today then....

Night diege have a nice evening...

Diege · 21/07/2008 18:07

LB, your body will 'spread out' the stored dose, so don't worry about missing a day or two (think I read somewhere you have a week or so of not taking before you 'run out'?). Also, don't panic if you do take 'overdose' in one day as you just wee out the unneeded folic acid )(not sure about other vits though).
Right, off for good now as dds are demanding tea!

GYo · 21/07/2008 18:03

Diege so glad work was ok, very glad you have alot of holiday to take now. You deserve a good break

LB I wouldnt take any more now to make up for lack of folic on previous days... not sure a big dose is safe.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/07/2008 18:03

Don't take any more LB, just once a day, if you've been taking them for a while and then miss a few, it isn;t the end of the world because you will have stored all of what you need already.

Diege so glad your day was ok. Hope you now have a lovely restful holiday...

I have forgotten to take my tablets for two days..... I am bloody crap. Is this really bad, should I take more now to make up for it?

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/07/2008 17:32

The tablets are a bit on the big side, but they don't really taste of anything (memories of paracetamol stuck in throat - bleurghhhh!)

Thanks Nat . Might use up the pregnacare then, but the pills look enormous and don't know if I'll be able to swallow them! Sorry to hear you have been feeling up a bit up and down. Not sure how I'll cope when all the hormones start going haywire...

Diege - glad work went ok. Annual leave until Sept 1st sounds great.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/07/2008 17:31

Glad it was OK today, hoorah for holiday A nice long break is what you need, any chance of getting away for a little while?

I have been taking pregnacare, just missed the odd one, maybe once twice a week

Will find out tomorrow, if there is anything to find out!

OP posts:
Diege · 21/07/2008 17:27

x-posts nat - just thinking from your last post you may be a bit low in iron? (esp if not taking pregnacare, though iron in that is pretty much 'token' iron).

Diege · 21/07/2008 17:25

Wow Cals brilliant news . As others have said, your symptoms were just so encouraging!
I'll have everything crossed for you tomorrow GYO, though I'm sure you will be fine .
Work OK - good to get that first day back over and done with, and I am now on annual leave till 1st September (have been saving it up all year).
Hi to all - absolutely shattered now, so will have a good rest. Probably not get back on tonight, so congrats again Cals and speak tomorrow .

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/07/2008 17:24

My boys aren't too bad, DS1 is quite quiet and relaxed, DS2 can be a bit more erm.... flighty than DS1, but they play well together so they give me a break as much as play me up!

Cosmo you can take them all through pregnancy and BF (if you BF) but must admit after doing quite well with them up till 12 weeks, I have been a bit lapse since

Cals - congratulations! Brilliant news!

GYo - sorry to hear about more pinky blood. Fingers crossed for tomorrow. I think I would be the same for thinking the worse. DH is already worrying about something going wrong with our potential bean....

Thinking of switching from folic to pregnacare because I bought three months worth a while ago. Are you meant to take it for the whole 9 months? [sorry, just realising how little I know about this whole preg lark]

GYo · 21/07/2008 17:17

NJ- sorry your worried about lack of movements and not feeling well. Hope the MW is able to shed some light. Maybe you just need a break from running round bet two boys are hard work.

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/07/2008 17:13

Aww LB, not much fun is it? I think feeling down is just all part of it, I spent the first few months so down in the dumps, haven't been too bad in the last week or so. I don't think the weather helps at all, so bloody miserable all the time (although it has been quite nice yesterday and today) I am OK though thanks, starting to get a bit woried about lack of movements, and am getting really breathless for no apparent reason, dizzy etc. have a MW appointment tomorrow anyway, (triple test and they are re-doing my rubella because they cocked it up last time) and I am going to really try and get them to agree to induce at 40 weeks, I'll end up being induced anyway, so have tons of arguments for it!

GYo, I think the doctor would have got you a scan today if she thought it was really bad, she sounds like she's been really helpful and I don't think she'd make you wait if she thought it was over. If it helps any, after my quip about instinct, when I had that bleed I was utterly convinced it was all over, and look how that turned out!

Thanks 2note

thats really made me smile. I love the word bean to describe the embryon/foetus etc...

Fab word... [Grin]

2notenuff · 21/07/2008 17:11

GYo - slap slap

I know you'll be fine and come on tomorrow and tell us all about your little bean.

hugs

x

2notenuff · 21/07/2008 17:10

lardybump - sorry you're feeling sick, its rubbish isnt it?

have you tried the seabands? i thought they were crap until i took them off and the sickness double.

wore them for 16 weeks.

crisps and bread always gave me a bit of respite from the feeling.

You have probably tried everything now but thought i'd tell.

Hope it doesnt last too long for you.

Take care x

Hi NJ

Thanks for asking. Im really not sure. Was feeling excellent after the docs today but since had some more bleeding (same thing pink wet/watery not bright red) and a lot of lower back ache although this morning the doctor suggested it might be Urine infection.

Really not sure what my gut instinct is..
If I was a betting woman- I'd probably say it was all over but Im known for my pesimism!

... Least I will know either way tomorrow after seeing MW and scan. And if its meant to be it will be.

2notenuff · 21/07/2008 17:06

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain - lol

Dh always said last time I dropped when his job was done

lardybump · 21/07/2008 17:05

Err even the thought of doing the deed makes me feel sick........ I am not up to that yet.......

I am fine NJ thanks. Strangely feeling a bit down at the moment, don?t know why but think it is down to lack of sleep and fed up of being sick etc.... How are you??

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/07/2008 17:02

Evening LB how are you?

LOL GYo, how are you feeling about tomorrow? Gut instinct is normally a good guide...

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 21/07/2008 17:01
