Hi 2Note
Sorry you are feeling low- its good that we all here to help with just that. Sounds like a trip to the doctor is a good idea. It?s amazing how the mind and body are linked- Iam no expert but I've emotions can really effect hormones etc.

Having said that I?ve had virus things before that have left me feeling very tired and nauseous. So it could be an innocent explanation.

Cant remember, was last month your first month of TTC again after DD?

Sending hugs (in a non invasive, virtual kind of way? ) [grin

Morning

Sorry for coming on her moaning but I feel so low today.

Last few days been going to bed early, and also feeling queasy. I just feel wrecked!

Woke this morning at 6am and felt really sick and bursting to do a wee.

I have one test left so thought "what the heck"

Anyway of course it was negative, I dont know why I am surprised!!!

Why do I feel like I am pregnant, these are real feelings. I am struggling to get through the days right now feeling this tired. Had to drink coffee yesterday and I dont normally like it.

I keep crying too or feeling like I am about to. Just when I dropped dd off to school this morning I started to cry whilst walking back home through the playground. Lucky I had my shades on, I left as quick as poss before any mums spotted me.

This is not right! I dont like feeling like this. If I was pregnant I would not mind but Im not so what is it?

Now I am starting to worry there is something wrong with me. I am going to go see my gp and see if he can do a blood test to check my hormone levels. That might explain a few things.

GYo · 23/07/2008 09:30

Tink- did you find out sex last time too?

Ses15 · 23/07/2008 09:29

Having said that, I know my friends called their bean 'pumpkin' as it was due on Halloween!

Ses15 · 23/07/2008 09:25

I bet your both really excited! I agree bean is a good word too!

GYo · 23/07/2008 09:19

just wanted to add that I wasnt worried about AF am on a mission to stay positive now until the next scan in 2 wks.

DH wants to give bean a name but Im slightly reticent but think it will happen anyway. he is rather excited after seeing black blob on screen yesterday.

tinkisagracefulshamu · 23/07/2008 09:08

Ses15 · 23/07/2008 09:07

Morning!

Cosmo & GYo - am sure there will be no AF for either of you!

I had a really vivid dream in the early hours of this morning - I had given birth to a boy of 10lb 23oz!!! Yes I know the 23oz doesn't make sense and yes I know that sounds really painful too! I was lucky though and the dream started after the birth!

Cosmogirl · 23/07/2008 08:57

Morning Tink/GYo,

Gosh I really hope tighter muscles hold it in 1st time. I am 5.2" so if I get really big it could look quite ridiculous! Here's hoping for a nice, little neat bump

15 weeks! Wow Tink. Not long until your next scan then.

GYo · 23/07/2008 08:53

Morning Tink

Time is going really fast, feels like only last week you said you were 11wks.

Is it true that you get bigger quick with 2nd/ 3rd/ 4th pregnancies than the 1st one?

Someone said somethig about tighter muscles hold it all in...

tinkisagracefulshamu · 23/07/2008 08:48

morning

cant believe i am 15 wks tom still getting bigger. dont feel as tired which is great.
i am sure both your afs will be long gone

GYo · 23/07/2008 08:32

Morning Cosmo- was about to post something simiar - very strange.

Am sure AF will stay away but keeping everything crossed anyway.

Cosmogirl · 23/07/2008 08:24

Hello! Is anyone out there? Think this must be a record for longest time with no new posts.

Feeling tired this morning. Period should be due tomorrow, so hoping it doesn't put in an appearance.

GYo · 22/07/2008 18:02

Going home now but back online later to do proper catch up on today....

2notenuff · 22/07/2008 17:50

GYo · 22/07/2008 17:45

tinkisagracefulshamu · 22/07/2008 17:43

i hate being sick too i found polo mints and chewits or starburst helped my nausea.
gr8 news gyo
cosmo at my 1st midwife appointment just ran through all the forms that i had to fill in about family history etc and that was it plus used wheel to work out edd and took blood pressure.
there shouldnt be any blood test or internals. i had my nuchal one plus other bloods @ 12 wks

Ses15 · 22/07/2008 17:43

hi GYo! Sounds like a good appointment. Fairly simple and straight forward but what you expected I guess and still v exciting in it's own way tho!

Cosmogirl · 22/07/2008 17:42

Ah cool, interesting to know what will happen. I live in a small town, so going to have midwife from local hosp, but as hospital has only got a midwifery-led unit I would prefer to have the baby at a hospital in the nearest city. Midwife said I will be able to do everything at that one appointment, so guess will then go to the city hospital for the two scans. All very exciting! Definitely will be taking DH along too for support.

GYo · 22/07/2008 17:36

No internals either, though i was expecting that.

GYo · 22/07/2008 17:35

Hi Cosmo

Great news. Also nice to know we are exactly 2wks apart.

Here is what happened at my 1st MW appt today(clearly eager to tell story to someone who I can tell it to! . Am sure everyone has different story!

1st, she worked out my EDD with that weird wheel thing. Then she filled in lots of forms about medical history, family baby issues and health. She gave me lots of info to read including a slim book on pregnancy that looks rather entertaining but something I might have had when doing my GCSEs. Was really an intro and get to know you. My DH happened to be there and we all laughed a lot and drank tea, which was great to put me at ease.

My next appt is on 20th Aug, she will then take bloods- I should be 10wks by then, all being well. Think those blood test feed into the Nuchal tests... (but might be wrong on that)

Cosmogirl · 22/07/2008 17:29

Just phoned midwife and got appointment for August 17th - they will see me on a Sunday! Was rather shocked at helpfulness of lady and how accommodating - she even said congratulations! I will be 7 and a half weeks by then, all being well. Not sure exactly what she will do but she said something about three blood tests - ick! Do they do internals or anything dodgy like that?

Ses15 · 22/07/2008 17:24

Hi Playing! I'm being slow on the typing again and x-posting!

Ses15 · 22/07/2008 17:22

Cal - I know lots of people who have had implantation cramps early on. They often feel quite low down IYKWIM.

We're having fun with the Irish relatives. The youngest is our nephew who is 15 months and v cute! Making me even more broody!

NatalieJaneIsPregnantAgain · 22/07/2008 17:19

Cramps are perfectly normal and actually good, it shows things are happening, IME MC cramps are more like labour pains than period pains (and I know they are likened to each other, but they aren't quite the same IYKWIM?)
