CatIs Sleepy

Just saw you on another thread and decided to check back here - this is great news. So pleased for you.

I also lurked on here last week and am so glad that it's a nice strong BFP for you CatisSleepy!! Many congratulations and here's to a happy and healthy nine months!

3Ddonut · 21/07/2008 12:12

Congrats catissleepy I had a little lurk about on this thread last week and saw it pop up in active today so thought I'd check on developments...I'm moved to tears to hear all is well.

pgwithnumber3 · 21/07/2008 12:08

CatisSleepy a chemical pregnancy would definitely be out of your system now, they usually end around the time of your period, you will be fine. You most definitely would not have a strong line on the test.

Jacanne, sorry to hear that.

CatIsSleepy · 21/07/2008 11:19

jacanne thank you . Hope you have better luck next time.

Catissleepy - I'm so pleased for you - sending you lots of sticky vibes

I had a chemical pregnancy last month.

2notenuff · 21/07/2008 10:40

You sound fine!

I'll try

CatIsSleepy · 21/07/2008 10:38

yes and it came up within seconds babytime, so faster than when I tested last week which has got to be a good sign...

not sure re early scan-am away for 10 days or so from Saturday so will see the doc when I get back and see what she says.

ok so fingers crossed for you- you really need to keep your mind off it til thursday then don't you!

OP posts:
babytime · 21/07/2008 10:25

Oh thats fantastic news -

If it had ended then the line would be fainter surely?

I think you're fine. You hear of so many people on here who have periods and bleeding during pregnancy. Are you still going to call you gp just to check, maye get an early scan?

I bet you feel good now!

I am holding out testing until Thursday, that would make me 6 weeks. I spoke to a few others on here who did not get a positive until at least 6 weeks so I thought I would do it then otherwise I would end up buying more tests

I do feel different and just felt queasy a few mins ago but then had a yogurt and feel ok.

Also when having sex its alot more slippy I remember this happening with other pregnancies...

I really am driving myself mad now!!!

My dh found out my name so I am going to change it today. I hate it when he knows it because I cant talk about him then

I am going to change today and when I come back on saying its me - you'll know its me

CatIsSleepy · 21/07/2008 10:17

ah you are sweet pgwith!
have you had your scan yet?

still can't quite believe it actually! am getting used to the idea

haven't checked my due date exactly yet but must be middle/end of March

WooHoo!!!!!! Fantastic news, I knew you said you had been away but I have still been checking all weekend to see if you updated.

You must be over the moon!

Tell me about the hunger, just about to go and make my second breakfast! Already had porridge and now want egg on toast.

Keep this thread going so we know how you are getting on. You will be due a few weeks after me? (12 weeks tomorrow)

CatIsSleepy · 21/07/2008 09:44

babytime-I saw your other thread-did you decide not to test yet then?

sorry to keep you dangling ladies-could not get onto computer on friday morning as dh was using it, then I left for my weekend away around lunchtime. In any case I decided to wait til this morning to do my test.

Positive came up almost instantly and was very strong- so I guess I'm still pregnant
very early days still so fingers crossed. Still no symptoms- except feeling ravenously hungry!

thanks for all your kind messages, I appreciate it alot x

CatisSleepy, I will be on here when DD2 gets up tomorrow and I want an answer on the result of your test!

Good luck if you do test, fingers, toes and everything else crossed for you.

CatIsSleepy · 17/07/2008 13:28

that's how I feel too neolara-the earlier the better

neolara · 17/07/2008 13:27

Thanks Catisleepy. I actually feel OK about it. I have had two other miscarriages in the past and because of this, I feel that if it is going to go wrong, it's much better for it to happened now instead of weeks or months down the line.

Good luck with your testing tomorrow. Sounds like it could be OK.
