Aw how I have missed you all. I can see us all now, checking in every few minutes to see the results .

I am in a crappy training course all day though so won't be near my computer. I will get a test on the way to work and will try and do it before we start so I can log on quickly...

Thank you all for making me feel a little better.... Good luck to my fellow testers may be a have at least a hat trick this month [higs].

Thank you both

MrsH stop with the twin talk

Yes, go on, PnM join in with the testathon! Sounds like a sponsored event, doesn't it? Just think - we'd raise loads of money if people paid us to POAS

MrsHappy · 17/11/2008 20:12

MOB I agree with PnM - you could never be insensitive. I'm still completely thrilled for you and your DH. You must talk about it all as much as you like. It's very sensible of the clinic to wait to do the scan for a bit - IME scans which are too early result in more questions than answers and by waiting when you have yours you will see everything (two heartbeats, the works )

Go on PnM, you might as well join in with the en masse peeing tomorrow!

Madoldbird · 17/11/2008 20:07

x-posts PnM good evening to you too.

Sounds like a good idea to make a complaint about your appt - otherwise it may well happen to someone else. Bear in mind that if you go through PALS it will be dealt with informally, there is a different procedure for making a formal complaint. Let me know if you want any more details. Not surprised you are still feeling down. Will you have the hsg this next cycle?

PicknMix · 17/11/2008 20:04

Apologies MOB, crossed posts!! Really lovely to hear its finally sinking in. I can only imagine the emotions you're going through at the moment but I hope you can begin to enjoy this time with your DH as you both deserve it - and you can go on about it as much as you like, we're all so chuffed for you, you could never be insensitive

Madoldbird · 17/11/2008 20:02

x-posts - good evening MrsH & mibbes

PicknMix · 17/11/2008 20:01

Evening my lovely ladies,

Caitni it's lovely to hear you had a good weekend but I'm sorry that you think you're out for this month and that you're feeling so down about it. Big to you, I'm hanging on in there with you as am feeling somewhat the same.

RFN2 so pleased you came back to update us and that you have managed to start sorting things with your DH. Sounds like its been an absolute roller coaster for you but pleased the Dr has prescribed you something. Take care of yourself x

Bucky Bucky Bucky! Following on from MrsHs laws of pregnativity, how fab would it be if sods law played its hand this month, giving you a great last month of living 'old Bucky style' in preparation for 9 months of abstainance (sp?)?! Really really hope this is it for you, am hand holding in prep for tomorrow morning!

Your chart is looking soooo good MrsH! Its such a blimmin' struggle swaying from staying hopeful and veering towards feeling like it all might go wrong. Are you going to test tomorrow morning then?

And you Ei - are you testing tomorrow as well?! Crikey, its a big ol' testathon in the WIMBEWAI[N]F club tomorrow, eh?? Think I will look into PALS and complaining about my appt, luckily I have a very grounded DH who can talk me down from most stressful places but would like to make sure it doesn't happen to someone else in future.

Wish I could join in the testing! However I have no idea where I am at in my cycle as haven't been temping (lost a bit of faith in that as my chart always alludes to greater things than it ever turns out to be!). Am kinda waiting for af to show so I can get the HSG out of the way!!

I think I will try and regain my faith in the NHS once I've had these tests done and then call for a cancellation appt as MrsH suggested. Gotta get Christmas out of the way first I guess !

How are you feeling today MOB?? Am still for you!!

Mibbes and JB am at your hiccupy babies! Hope they're behaving themselves!? How are you both coping with big bumps now? Hope you're not getting too many niggles?

Madoldbird · 17/11/2008 20:00

Thanks for the congratulations Bucky, Caitni & JB

Caitni I'm so sorry that it doesn't look like good news your end. I'm not surprised you have been feeling battered. How have you been feeling today? Big higs to you. XXX

Bucky get on and test, woman, i can't stand the suspense Definitely don't worry about all the alcohol, excercise etc. As MrsH says, at this stage any potential bean would only just be getting implanted. You'd better go and get a test tomorrow! May i say, it's lovely to have you around again - just like old times!

MrsH Wow, sounds like an emotional rollercoaster of a day or so for you. Your chart is looking great, and the cramping can be a good symptom ( i had lots a few days ago). However, i know all too well how awful this being in "limbo" is. Hopefully if you test tomorrow (FMU just to be sure) then you will know either way for sure.

EI Hope you are still testing tomorrow as well! How have you been feeling today? Any good symptoms???

Loads and loads of positive vibes for all the testers tomorrow. i'm more excited than when i did my own test

Well, it's beginning to sink in that i am actually pregnant. I phoned the clinic who were delighted. I have a scan booked for 10th december. It seems ages away, but she said they don't like to do it any sooner incase they can't see things properly, then i'd have to wait a week and go back anyway. I'm still on knicker watch, and panic whenever i feel a slight "dampness". I've also done several more tests I keep worrying that it's such early days, and a lot can go wrong. However it struck me earlier that i am finally pregnant, this is what we have longed for, and, providing it all goes well, i am never, ever going to go through this again - so i need to enjoy every minute of it!

Sorry - i shouldn't go on about it - i don't mean to be insensitive. I just wish we could all be pg together.

MrsHappy · 17/11/2008 19:53

Well it does to me too (it's almost identical to my last pg chart), but the cramps and occasional little threads of red blood make me think otherwise...

mibbes · 17/11/2008 19:42

Wooooo that looks like a very good chart to me

MrsHappy · 17/11/2008 19:37

Here's my chart.

I can't take credit for the Law of Pregnativity, it was Caitni who came up with that one!

mibbes · 17/11/2008 19:28

x posts MrsH ! oooh all very promising for you - is there a link to your chart on the thread ? I love your scientific equation

mibbes · 17/11/2008 19:26

MrsH sounds like it is not all over for you then missus... are you still planning to test tomorrow with Ei ?

Bucky I am trying to remember what day I had imp bleed... I think it was about 10-11dpo and like yours it was more than just spotting but not enough to count as AF. I so hope this is your month hun. If it is then don't even give the alcohol and exercise a second thought, I had a work night out involving wine and cocktails and an afternoon in the pub with several beers during my BFP 2ww (was fed up being good all the time) and was also running twice a week. Fingers crossed xxxxx Oh and be warned if it does look like this is an imp bleed then you will probably not get a BFP for a few days - I had BFN on 13dpo and didn't get BFP until 15dpo. If bean imps late you have a wee bit longer to wait until BFP... oooh am getting excited, sorry !

MrsHappy · 17/11/2008 19:19

Bucky stop that right now!
If you are pg, drinking and going to the gym will not have made any difference - the bean would not have been implanted for long so hardly any time to soak up the gin!
I tend to believe that if my body "should" get pg (i.e. it will all be ok) then I will get pg. If you get a BFP everything will be fine.
Anyway, you should worry about this later when you've tested!
Can you not get your DP to nip to the 24hr Tesco now???
It would not be sod's law at all, but would come under the Law of Pregnativity. In this case, sods law + (alcohol x fags)/1 shag only = triplets.

I am still feeling sick but my boobs no longer hurt and I have had quite a lot of cramping today. I know taking temps at times other than first thing is hardly scientific, but it is really high (37.1) so I don't think the progesterone has fallen off yet. I want to test but I also don't want to IYSWIM. My chart looks great so I am going to be so flipping disappointed if my period shows up and will cry all over the thread...

Bucky2008 · 17/11/2008 19:03

What if its not a BFN...all the alcohol and general not looking after myself. I have been spinning at the gym like a mad woman...

Oh it would so be sod's law!

OP posts:
Bucky2008 · 17/11/2008 19:02

Nope no sign at all. I'm a bit freaked out actually....I don't want to test in case its a BFN . I lost a lot of weight this month and have been pretty stressed...maybe its that?

I guess I'll get a test in the morning on the way to work.

OP posts:
MrsHappy · 17/11/2008 16:40

Any sign Bucky?

I don't want to get your hopes up but implantation bleeding (if you get it - I never did) does often happen around the time your period is due.

As for me, I have mild cramps and spent some of the day feeling sick. No more pink, which is something. Not sure what is going on but I guess I will find out tomorrow.

MrsHappy · 17/11/2008 14:10

Arg! Bucky if you were in the office I would run round to you with a FR I happen to have in my bag!!

How confusing (and also exciting)

Bucky2008 · 17/11/2008 13:54

MrsH . I was so hopeful....

Just dropping in quickly because confusion reigns in the Bucky household today.

TMI Alert...yesterday evening I though AF had arrived. I had no cramps or anything just got some brown discharge and figured that the was the start of AF. It was a bit more than spotting, maybe a pantyliner amount (sorry I did say TMI) not a pad, just a pantyliner...Anyway, that was it...then it just went. I went for my day 2-4 blood test today thinking this would be day 2, but half the day has gone now and still nothing at all? I have a day off today so I have been busy, and I am sure that she will show up later, but I am a bit bamboozled...I am trying not to get my hopes up, but the only time this has happened before was the one time I was pg.

Surely this is too late to be implantation . I don't have any tests and I don't want to go out in the cold and rain when she will no doubt turn up proper as soon as I return with the test!

OP posts:
mibbes · 17/11/2008 13:46

This thread sounds like there is at least one more BFP to come in the next few days, Ei, Bucky, MrsH... who will it be..? Ideally all of you . Like JB says, you never know MrsH, maybe imp spotting...

JB My baby has started having hiccups about twice a day, so another wee hiccuper over here !

I'll be keeping a close eye on progress here and crossing everything for everyone waiting to test...xxxx

JollyBear · 17/11/2008 13:32

MOB

I'm so happy for you! That is just such fantastic news. I've been thinking about you all weekend but have been unable to get on MN has we've had family visiting. I'm so so pleased for you.

MrsH I'm sorry you think AF is on the way. If you are not due yet then at the risk of sounding annoyingly optimistic, it could be implantation perhaps?

PnM What a dreadful appointment. Your boss sounds like he would be really understanding if you managed to get a cancellation at short notice. Going private for one appointment sounds like a good plan though.

Ei LOL at gathering the ladies together for a group hug! I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed for tomorrow.

Bucky How lovely to see you. A late AF and no testing! You must have nerves of steel . Seriously, I'm willing like mad for you to get a BFP.

Caitni I'm sorry that you think you are out this month too . It could be implantation, it happened to mibbes. She was convinced she was having her usual spotting and then got a BFP. I want you all to get BFPs so very much.

Thanks for all your good wishes for me and Jollycub. I was wondering if the hiccups would carry on after the birth mrsH, sounds like I'll have a hiccupy baby like your DD!

MrsHappy · 17/11/2008 12:08

Pah. I think I am out.
I've started cramping, my cervix feels a bit open and just had a pinkish wipe.
Am strangely disappointed. You'd think I would be used to this by now.

MrsHappy · 16/11/2008 21:04

Oh Caitni ((((higs)))) to you. It's just not fair.

Yes to synchronised testing Ei. First thing on Tues morning (assuming my temps are still up, otherwise I won't waste the pee stick)!

I am completely exhausted today. Even my DH has noticed and has asked whether there is something he should know. The last time I had a nap in the day I was up the spout so we're crossing fingers here. And with that I am off to bed.

Caitni · 16/11/2008 20:25

MOB OHMYGOD!!!! I am SOOOOO happy for you and your DH . A huge congratulations on your BFP. You deserve it so much. You have put a big smile on my face. I just knew when I woke up this morning that there'd be good news once I got to a computer .

And to everyone else. Sorry for the short post, but not really in the form for MN tonight. I've been spotting since yesterday (am now 10dpo) with plummeting temps so feeling annoyed/depressed/ that yet another cycle is biting the dust. (TMI alert) This spotting is showing up nearly every time I wipe (yet more TMI) when usually i have to "rummage" to find any...Just waiting now for AF to show. Had a great weekend but feeling a bit battered by the whole ttc lark.

But I hope there are plenty more BFPs when I check in again

HappyandEiknowit · 16/11/2008 20:04

you know not to test early with anythin other than FMU!! but great that there may be a line if you be a good girl wait til tuesday now to test i will do one with you so we can get syncronised BFPs (or you will get one and i will move swiftly onto cycle 13)
bucky lovely to see you and wowzer your AF is late eh??!![nudge][nudge] you dont think you could be pregnant could you?? i soooo hope you are
hello to everyone else
xx ei xx
