It's funny how your mind and body play tricks on you as well: I was absolutely sure AF was coming, in foul mood, felt all shrivelled up and greasy haired, cold sore, usual AF stuff. Then it suddenly melted away on the day it was due..

Only on day 29 (AF always on day 27) and already feeling far too excited, lines get darker every day but going to stop testing for at least a week. once you've m/c it spoils the excitement a bit!

I too can't believe the luckiness of this thread, we should start one in the antenatal section too!

Hants · 20/07/2008 21:39

I have heard it can take between 3 - 12 months to conceive. Have you spoken to your doctor? Might be worth it if you don't get any luck in the next couple of months, might give you some advice. I have really sore boobs (huge nips!) and period type cramps (same as my DS 4 yrs ago). I had no PMT at all last week, which is why I had a feeling I was pregnant, as I am usually really tense and snappy when due on.

pandagirl03 · 20/07/2008 21:33

well i hope we can, i had a section with dd so i worry about any damage.

pandagirl03 · 20/07/2008 21:32

i am a bit over weight, but saying that i was alot heavier when i had dd. Have lost weight since. But dh is fit and healthy.

Hants · 20/07/2008 21:12

if you go by your previous track record, only a couple of months to go. I know each month is like a lifetime, at least you know you can. Are you both fairly fit and healthy?

pandagirl03 · 20/07/2008 21:11

have you any symptoms of pregnancy hants??

pandagirl03 · 20/07/2008 21:10

been trying for 8 months now, took us 10 months to fall with dd. Looks like i will have to wait this out.

Hants · 20/07/2008 21:05

Well I did my first test the day before AF (which you would think would work??) then did a week later. Fingers crossed you get the result you want, have you been trying long?

pandagirl03 · 20/07/2008 21:00

Hi Hants, well AF was due on the 19th so i thought it would be good to test on the 19th?? I will read link thanks. I dont really 'feel' pregnant tho with my dd i felt it, wierd sort of feeling. But then i guess each one is different.

Hants · 20/07/2008 20:50

welcome pandagirl03, you may have tested too early, most of us BFPs had. Check out this link - good luck

turtle23 · 20/07/2008 20:49

Can I just add that this wasn't really in the plan! We were going to wait til October/November, but had a little "accident" and have been feeling queasy/metallic and funny all day.

Hants · 20/07/2008 20:45

ohmigod turtle23.....16 wks old!!!! I think I would want BFN if I was you! Good luck either way

pandagirl03 · 20/07/2008 20:45

Well i have been watching this thread, congats on all the bfp's. My AF was due on 19th did a test but did it in the afternoon and if was BFN. Very strange as it normally comes dead on the 19th. Have felt very tired for last week or so and bloated on and off.

turtle23 · 20/07/2008 20:42

Can I add myself at the last second? Due tomorrow and can't decide whether I want it to be positive or not...DS is only 16 weeks old...gulp

Cosmogirl! OMG Congratulations! Another BFP!
Must be really estatic

Well i did a stupid thing today, POAS after my 2nd MU and a cup of coffee, then thought i saw a very very very faint line which i presume might be an evaporation line..i asked dh abt the line and he said 'maybe' which is not assuring at all
really tested at a wrong time cos' i don't feel pregnant at all, no sore bbs, no bloatness, no nausea..nothing..
anywayz might test tmr to confirm whether i am/am not pregnant.

Cosmogirl · 20/07/2008 11:59

Hi ladies,

Well tested this morning with FMU and a line came up!! Could not believe it after the two last week that were completely blank. I think I must be 11 or 13 dpo. Good luck to those still waiting for AF or waiting to test. x

greenbeanie · 20/07/2008 11:17

Cote: that sounds encouraging - good luck with the testing. Codeine should be ok as it is from the same family as pethidine etc that's used in labour but it can make you constipated!!
SueGeneris: Sorry to hear you weren't lucky this month, but it will be great to have some company - perhaps we can manage it next time

Ooh, Cote D'A, I bet you are! Don't worry too much about medicines, it doesn't have a placenta yet anyway...
