How many of you got BFP with digital clear blue test at least 3 days before???

Just got back from shop and due on in three days time.

The test states its 82% accuarate three days before but states you need to use first wee of the day.

Does that mean that it just wont detect at other times of the day or just less chanee.

Its killing me to think I have to wait until tomorrow morning - weak I know

I am also thinking that because I have such strong symptoms that the hormone levels must be high enough for it to detect if i used it now?

Strong taste in mouth
Queasy
Tired
Tingly nipples
Just today got preperiod feelings too which I had with last pregnancy.

What do you think shall I waste one or am I being stupid?

Oh and it was a 2 pack of first responses, i had done the first test the day before and it was 100% negative!

Litterbug · 07/07/2008 19:48

Right first response is on profile, I did that and it was so faint ... but visable straight away if you know what I mean. So I did the digital straight after and it came up 'pregnant'.

dinny · 07/07/2008 19:48

sorry, missed the fact you'd done it

leave it for a couple of days?

dinny · 07/07/2008 19:47

I did one last week 3-4 days before period (about 3rd wee of the day!) and got BFP v quickly

go on....

Litterbug · 07/07/2008 19:44

I have a picture of it..the first response?

ill put it on my profile... 1 sec ...

babyhollie · 07/07/2008 19:40

oh i did the clear blue digital on saturday afternoon and then the first response today.. I did two.. what a waste of money lol.. was the line very very faint and not bright pink but visible in light? sorry to ask so many questions

Litterbug · 07/07/2008 19:37

I got a faint faint + on first response at 3+3 and did a CB digital straight after and got a 'pregnant'.

babyhollie · 07/07/2008 19:36

OH no poor you. I was due on on the 6th... I tested with clear blue digital and got a bfn but today used a first response and got a very faint line very very faint though.. do you think it will be positive it was very very faint though.. I also tested with some of those cheap testers from one ound shop and showed up bfn three times... what do you think??

I hope you are like me and get what you are after

babytime · 07/07/2008 11:54

Just got my second early positive using First Response. The packet says unlike clear blue you don't have to test with the first wee.

beaniesteve · 07/07/2008 11:43

I would wait until at least tomorrow morning just so you know your wee is not diluted.

Or wait until you are late if you can bear it as the CB ones are expensive.

I have heard that the Digital ones are not as sensitive as the non-digital ones.

I've wasted 5 (tesco) tests this last week, because I was overdue and not sure why so I can't really talk

Teuch · 07/07/2008 11:43

I've always found First Response to be more sensitive.

I would have stocked up on ebay cheapies before now, and being happily peeing on multiple stick per day

However these are rather expensive (though not more accurate!!) tests, therefore you may want to wait...

The anti-testing brigade will be along soon to tell you not to do it until august the day your period would have been due, but as long as you can cope with a possible false negative...piddle away
