How many of you got BFP with digital clear blue test at least 3 days before???

babytime · 07/07/2008 11:38

Just got back from shop and due on in three days time.

The test states its 82% accuarate three days before but states you need to use first wee of the day.

Does that mean that it just wont detect at other times of the day or just less chanee.

Its killing me to think I have to wait until tomorrow morning - weak I know

I am also thinking that because I have such strong symptoms that the hormone levels must be high enough for it to detect if i used it now?

Strong taste in mouth
Queasy
Tired
Tingly nipples
Just today got preperiod feelings too which I had with last pregnancy.

What do you think shall I waste one or am I being stupid?

Any news Babytime?

wanaBmama · 07/08/2008 16:18

I took a first response test today 5 days before period due and was negative. Is there ANY chance this could be a false negative??

babytime · 09/07/2008 20:25

if you did not ovulate until late, then you need to make sure you are leaving enough time before you do test.

babyhollie · 08/07/2008 10:50

Hi there i used a clear blue normal and did not pick up and got a bfn..... oh no shall i get a first response.. like i said i did not ovulate until very late i am sure.....

thanks nicola

Litterbug · 08/07/2008 10:10

I would get a clear blue DIGITAL,

because I did a first response at 2pm in the afternoon and it was faint, faint + (the first response i had done the day before was negative) and 10 mins after i did a digital and it said 'pregnant' so it gave me a good clear answer whereas the FR was faint!

babytime · 08/07/2008 10:00

people seem to rate first response on here, I have seen a few comments that digital clear blue are not as sensitive?

but like lulumama said, if your're over due then any should pick it up now.

goodluck x

i would buy whichever HPT is the cheapest, if you are late then any test should pick it up. no point spending £16 when £2 will do IMO.

babyhollie · 08/07/2008 06:35

GOING THIS MORNING WOULD YOU GET a digital clear blue or first response again?

babytime · 07/07/2008 22:55

please keep me updated.. thanks n

babytime · 07/07/2008 22:15

babyhollie - how exciting, i'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I have promised myself not to test until I am one day overdue now.

I should have learnt my lesson from my last pregnancy, used an early tester day before I was due and got BFN, next day I was due no sign of period so done the other in the pack and got very faint positive so now I am holding onto that memory and hoping its the same again - PLEASE!!!

Hi there again I did the digital one on Saturday afternoon late afternoon in Tesco toilets as we were on our way to a hotel for the evening.. it jsut said not pregnant. I did both the first response tests today and bothe withi 5 mins showed a very faint but visble line but it was visible when held up to the light. ummmm may order one off ebay and may buy one at tesco when I do the school run in the morning! lol will keep you all informed. Thanks

Did you do the digital today?

Order one from boots online or ebay that way you know its on its way and by the time it gets here you will get a 100% true answer if you have a faint line on that 1st response i would be pretty certain though!

babyhollie · 07/07/2008 19:58

oh also thanks so much for taking time to put pic in profile....

babyhollie · 07/07/2008 19:57

ummmm I have looked at mine and very similar.. it came up straight away also or within the lime limits etc... shall i go waste some more money tonight on another digital??? OR shall I wait a few more days.. I hate the wait and want to know though do you?
