My husband and I did quite a few tests and there was no issue apart from my husband’s DNA fragment rate is 30%. However, doctor said this should ok especially we tried IVF. After transferring two AA embryos and there was no success as well.

Is there any advice? It will be great to hear any one has the similar story of unknown infertility. Thank you!

What age are you?
2x embryo transfer isn’t that much - roughly about 1/3 results in pregnancy (less in older women) so no pregnancy yet woudnt be unusual

Thank you! I am 34 so hopefully there are still some chances

I don’t mean to be flippant but my mother’s advice (which worked with a friend of mine) was just to get drunk and enjoy lots of sex. I really don’t think all the worrying and tension helps. DiL gave up trying and bought a Mercedes sports car- that worked. Another friend of mine accepted a big promotion and got pregnant after years of trying. Wishing you the best of luck.

34 is generally still okay, our fertility experts said that he doesn’t really see outcomes significantly dropping until about age 37. It might be worth talking to your specialist about making sure you make enough embryos so that you are able to use them for a second child in view of that. My understanding is that pgt-a is quite good for patients who are having multiple failed transfers/miscarriages but I wouldn’t put you in that box at this stage

What medication is he on for the fragmentation? I’d put yourself and him on a high dose vitamin regime - pro drive max has the most “stuff” in it

agree with what others have said 2 embryo transfers are still below the average for success rates in IVF I’d keep going x

thank you for that! I think I heard some people got the baby through the first and second try. That is really good to know

DH and I TTC 8yrs and lost 3 pregnancies. No infertility issues ever found in either of us. Also had rounds of IVF and stopped TTC a few years ago. Some things to try:

-Buy a copy of the book 'It starts with an egg' off ebay.
-For DH, but a lycopene supplement. 'Some studies' have shown it can help sperm quality. Its naturally occurring in red/orange fruit and veg anyways
-I took a CQ10 ubiquinol supplement

I asked the consultant about the above supplements and he said that if they aren't prohibitively expensive then give them a try. Some friends tried yoga, acupuncture and/or massage. Wishing you all the best x

Did you eventually get pregnant?
