Hi guys. Need some advice on what can help.
I've been ttc for a second baby all this year. Each month but one, I've managed to conceive. Unfortunately they all have been losses, one at 6 weeks and the rest around 4 weeks.
My first, I was given progesterone when the heartbeat was seen. I tried progesterone this time but no luck.
I have been tested for blood clotting but thats come up negative.
I am rh- and my son is positive, so I thought maybe I have the antibodies but the epu said that im fine.
What can I do to make it stick? Has anyone been in this situation?
Im gonna crazy with all these losses that I refuse to count any thats under 5 weeks.

I’m so sorry you’re going through all of this, it’s so disheartening and really relate to how you must be feeling.
I do have APS which was picked up on our fertility tests so my protocol during pregnancy is 75mg of aspirin, Tinzaparin injections and progesterone from a positive test, however before I was given that protocol I was going to take the 75mg aspirin anyway because I have seen a lot of stories about people taking it during early pregnancy. Something we also done was look up the protocol of vitamins that helps with sperm DNA fragmentation (something that isn’t checked on a standard sperm analysis) and my partner has been taking that for 4 months and I have been taking coq10, I done quite a bit of research after my 3rd miscarriage and realised that you can have genetic testing done on the baby through the EPU which we did with our 4th and 5th babies, they came back with chromosome abnormalities, we were both then tested to check is we had any translocations/rearrangements which is basically a carrier of bad chromosomes, our results came back clear and neither of us has that, so we were basically just told to keep trying, it was once we found out that two of our babies had chromosome abnormalities that we researched vitamin protocols for the sperm and eggs to try and make them as healthy as can be. I’m not sure if anything that I have said will be of any help for you, but I am always here if you ever want to vent or discuss anything at all. Sending you lots and lots of baby dust✨♥️

Sorry for your losses, it's hard. I had a number of chemicals, then my partner and I started taking the supplements in the recurrant miscarriage section of It Starts With The Egg and next pregnancy resulted in our healthy now-10 month old. Could be a coincidence but I think it was egg or sperm quality causing the chemicals - could be worth you looking into. Good luck xx

Thank you guys

Bit of bad news, I've got a wesk positive for Lupas. Im due another blood test next week to see if I've got it.
That can be a reason for recurring miscarriages.
Im praying its not lupas.
Any advice for that? Im trying not to worry.

I had 11 miscarriages, I swear by aspirin. Good luck x

Did you take the progesterone from conception? It needs to be from that early, if you wait till you find out you’re pregnant it’s likely to be too late. And I would second pp about having aspirin, also from conception

If you have Lupus they can refer you to a Lupus in pregnancy clinic, it isn't the end of the world & they have lots of options to help. I would take a break from trying until you get some definite answers & then be guided by them.

Hi OP,
I was in the same boat. I have been lucky enough to see a reproductive immunologist on the NHS who put me on a protocol of medication.
I don’t have Lupus but another auto immune disease he believes is the cause of the losses. Basically the immune system attacking it. Anyway I take a medicine to calm the immune system along with aspirin and progesterone. Yet to fall pregnant on this but am glad for the support.
I second the above poster who says hold off trying until you have things in place :)

LegoVsFoot · 26/10/2026 12:30

Good luck on your journey x
Autoimmune conditions like lupus can affect conception and pregnancy. I have a similar condition.
My mother also had an autoimmune thyroid condition and had multiple losses due to this, but did manage two successful pregnancies with progesterone and thyroid medication.

Im not eligible for progesterone at conception as I have stage 4 endo and high risk of ectopic.

Thank you all for the responses.
I am getting another blood test done to see if I have lupus. If I do, then I will be given medication to help stay pregnant. Im also taking steps to destress and relax as I feel like my body is in survival mode.

I had exactly this pattern & what finally helped me keep a pregnancy was immunology treatment from Prof Shehata at his CRP clinic. I had an overactive immune system attacking my pregnancies.
