Chemical? And ovulation

I had this positive test that looked pink in person on Friday morning. Since then negative tests so assumed either a dodgy test or chemical. My periods not due until Thursday/y and I started bleeding pretty consistently last night.

I’m now assuming chemical for my period to be so early which never happens for me. Any experience of whether ovulation will hopefully still be as expected next month or should I lower my expectations?

So sorry for this. I know it is so confusing. But the beat thing to do ia just be kind on yourself and not put pressure. On the next cycle. It varies woman to woman.

Jul, Aug and Sept 2025 I had eqrly chemicals back to back. VVFL never got darker for 3 days then went negative and then my period was 1 or 2 days late. But the ninly change which is normal anyway is my folocular phase changed by 1 or 2 days. But my Luteal phase was still within 1 day either side of normal.
The best way to really get that data and know is to start BBT charting.

my first pregnancy was a chemical and my experience was that I had a bleed, I think 5 or 6 days. I think my body tried to ovulate and didn’t and then cycle day 30 tried to ovulate again - my OPKs were high for a few days so I think it failed again and then I got my period 2 weeks after that (overall the cycle was about 6 weeks!)

I did however end getting pregnant the second cycle after!

I have read some just have normal cycles and get pregnant quickly after!
