Worried my line progression could indicate another ectopic pregnancy

As the title suggests, I’m really concerned my line progression suggests another possible ectopic. This is from dpo 11-16 (I think but not entirely sure). Any comments would be appreciated! Did anyone have lines like this that ended either in a miscarriage or healthy pregnancy?

I think this is a really good and reassuring line progression. Given that hcg only doubles every 48-72 h, I wouldn’t expect any noticeable differences day to day. Try testing every 2-3 days instead of daily/twice daily. You will see a very clear progression this way. Good luck 🍀

Thanks for the reply! I think I’m worried because it doesnt look as if my test has darkened much over the last 3 days and slow rising HCG was a sign of my last ectopic. It’s hard to know if I’m being paranoid or
if tests like this can result in a normal pregnancy (or even a normal miscarriage)

I don't think it's very easy to diagnose an ectopic this way, but fwiw I think the line progression there looks normal. As you've had an ectopic in the past it's recommended to have a scan at 6w to check positioning. Have you been able to speak to your GP/EPU to book that in to give you some reassurance?

Thanks for replying! Yes I’ve got a scan booked but not for another 10 days and they aren’t doing any bloods before that. I’m just concerned about possible rupture in the intervening period so not sure if I should try and push harder for bloods

Try not to worry. I've been exactly where you are now. The wait between a positive test and the 6w scan is agonising I know. It's rare for a rupture to happen before 6w. I actually did end up in a&e at 5w with an ectopic but even though it was extremely painful it wasn't actually rupturing so I was lucky I didn't need to lose a tube. It'll be an extremely hard ten days but just sit tight (and obviously go straight to hospital if you have any significant pain)

My ectopic sign was tests that went up and down. Sometimes light sometimes strong. It is not clear from your tests that that would be ectopic, so far it looks normal but keep tracking. Hcg bloods of course would give a more precise picture

I had the exact same fear as you earlier thisnyear and thankfully all turned out well. I asked for hcg to be taken in addition to the scan and they let me come in for that. I am sure if you explain re previous ectopic they will allow this. My line progression was not as strong as yours and all turned out healthy so far

The tests have got darker which has reassured me slightly but will know more in a couple of days! I’ve told myself today was my last test and I’ll just wait for the scan now. Thanks for checking in 😊

Just to update on here. Had my scan today and it’s not ectopic so that’s good news. But they could only find the gestational sac and yolk sac (no fetal pole). Based on my LMP I’m 6 weeks today but I do think I likely ovulated a little late so who knows. Have another scan in 2 weeks but I’m not filled with confidence!

This was my sign for 2 weeks tests got dark then veey light and then dark. Wven aftwr bleeding started. After 2 weeks it started to get lighter and lighter and at 4 weeks finally negative.

I'm so pleased your scan showed not ectopic. I really don't think it sounds worrying not to have a hb at this stage, especially if you aren't even 6 weeks. Hopefully when you go back you'll see good growth and a heartbeat. Keep us posted!
