I couldn't see that anyone's started a thread for September yet. Seeing as it's tomorrow thought I'd start one now. Seems AF arrived for a few of us at the same time so looks like we'll be in sync over the coming months.
How is everyone doing?

Hey ladies, sorry for disappearing, much like someone else said previously, didn’t want to obsess so took some time off MN. I’m 4dpo now and the obsessive thoughts are creeping in! 😫 Congratulations to the few positives I saw when flicking through the last few pages xx

Think I may get my peak today or tomorrow. CD20 today. Feeling so down that it’s taking so long to conceive and also that my cycles are still long

Sorry to see this but don't lose hope, if it's happened before it can and will happen again! But it's an unbelievable downer to try for so long, as you know I'm in the same boat and we've never even had one BFP. Currently with AF and she's extra heavy and mean this month :(
My hycosy is just over a week away now, I will keep you updated with how it goes and keep my fingers crossed for me and you both. 🤞 🩷

I had an extra mean AF this month as well, so painful! My delusions are saying maybe it hurts more because I have a more viable egg brewing haha. Yes, I believe it will happen for us and for you as well! Let me know how you get on and good luck with it! We're going away next week so hoping a holiday might be the remedy we need. 💕

Omg congratulations @DancingThroughLife02 and @GreenPickle ! Such wonderful news!

I am 11DPO and got a BFN so I am out this month 😢

GoneWithTheWind4 · 03/10/2026 11:52

Nice to see some positives! Congratulations. And hang on in there everyone else! Just popping on for solidarity. Currently approx 5/6DPO. I’ve noted that alll symptoms I feel at this stage of my cycle are the same whether I’m pregnant or not. I said I wouldn’t test until my period is actually due…. However LOL… if I can’t resist, when’s a good time to get a good indication? 10DPO?

I have two kids, had two miscarriages last year, 2 chemicals and am on my final few months of trying!

I tested this morning at 9 DPO and BFN, will try again tomorrow 10 DPO and 12 DPO! Previous cycle I waited until 15 DPO and got a strong BFP so clear answer by waiting, unfortunately was MMC. I haven’t got the willpower this cycle to wait though with it being the first since May!

GreenPickle · 03/10/2026 13:17

Not sure if I have bfp or bfn (leaning towards the latter as if bfp i would have thought a tiny bit darker at 9dpo for me!).

at this point i think a bad bunch of tests - not sure if the line is grey or pink in person as i think i have just stared at it too long and now my eyes are just seeing things

i know you're not meant to read tests when they dry!

I’m in a similar position I have two already 11 and 8 and kind of going for the last hurrah 😂 I’m 4/5DPO but not really any symptoms just yet

Good luck to us xx I personally don’t want to try for much longer. But after 2 recent miscarriages I owe it to the dream of a third child to try a bit longer x

Hi all, I had my GP appointment on Wednesday. She has made a referral to fertility which I was surprised at. But she did say since I already have a diagnosis we can skip the 'TTC for a year then get referred'. So hopefully we will get some advice on how to move forward soon. Currently on Month 7 but cycle 3!

I can definitely see a line! Mine was so light at 9dpo. Do another tomorrow and see if it progresses at all. Keeping everything crossed for you!

It is weird some how months can be so painful/heavy when some months aren't that bad. It must usually be a hormonal difference so maybe you're onto something! Now that I consider how painful my periods can be after a year of trying with nothing I do think it's quite likely I have endo to at least some degree. I mean it's around 10% of women have it so that is a high probability really.
Whereabouts are you with investigating yours now, do you have any upcoming appointments or anything?.

OrangeRainbow · 04/10/2026 09:06

How often is everyone DTD each cycle? My ovulation varies usually between earliest CD12 and latest CD15 - I’m CD8 today we had sex last night and planning to do every other day until I get my peak, but then I worry that I’ll miss the day or two leading up to ovulation if I ovulate on CD12! It’s a minefield, when you research some places say DTD every day some say don’t bother as it doesn’t make much difference

We did the deed everyday in the fertile window for 6 months and the month we DTD just one time (Ovulation +1) is the month I got pregnant haha.. Every day do increase the chance for conception as it brings more sperms that can survive until the egg releases but it’s not that big difference that you should burn yourself out DTD every day. Last month I got pregnant by doing it every other day (chemical) This month we did every other day as well.

Baby2pls · 04/10/2026 18:28

We do O-2, O-1, and O day. Did this last pregnancy as well x

I’ve heard this a lot but because my ovulation changes every month it’s hard to do the 2 days before. I could start 2 days before my earliest possibility day but then if I ovulate on the later side I’ll end up having to DTD about 7/8 days in a row 🤣

I think a bad bunch of tests! I dipped one in water and that showed a line. So cruel as I deep down though they could have been positive!

negative on ultra early clearblue digital. I know I’m only 10dpo but I don’t think this cycle is the one for me unfortunately.

going to wait for Thursday/Friday to see if period comes. If nothing by Saturday, may test! I will be lying low from MN for a while to get my bearings but will come back in an Oct/Nov cycle group after ovulation ❤️

good luck everyone ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Yeah endo's been in the back of my mind for a while too, even before TTC. Sometimes I can take 2 paracetamol, 2 ibuprofen and 2x 30mg codeine and maybe after an hour I'll get some pain relief. That being said since sorting out my vit D and iron my periods tend to be better overall. This cycle though I needed all of those and still had some pain :( When I had my ultrasound I had 2 small fibroids and one is in the muscular lining which can cause painful periods. Luckily, they're not in a place where they'll implact fertility.

We've had our blood and STD tests and I've had my fertility ultrasound. Husband has his SA in a few weeks and then we need to meet with the consultant and hopefully I can get a hycosy booked in from there if we still don't have success. We have a holiday next week though so hoping that will be the missing piece we need as so many people say they went on a holiday and it happened haha.

Have you got a lap or anything booked to check for endo? My consultant did suggest that could be an option but I'm reluctant to have a GA and surgery if it's not 100% required.

Yes I remember you mentioning they found fibroids. It's fortunate that they don't seem to be in a position that usually impact fertility but I do think it's possible for any fibroid of any size and placement to have some impact you know. Like it may not fully prevent pregnancy but it may reduce the chances a bit due to local inflammation etc. This is what my GP seemed to suggest, she said they don't usually affect fertility but they can do, even if they look OK on scans. As I had one smallish one found which is also within the wall/outer part and it isn't indenting the endometrium but yet I still haven't conceived so you never know, it might have had some impact, especially if I don't have endo and it's the only thing 'wrong'. I have quite a strong gut feeling that I have both the fibroid and endo though.

I remember you said you were waiting for the SA, definitely good to get that done as male factor can be overlooked and some make factor stuff can be easy to resolve.

They haven't mentioned a lap to me yet. All I have had was blood tests (which frustratingly I haven't had the results of for months as they just expect you'll wait until the next appointment) and booked in for this hycosy. I'm not sure if lap is the typical pathway for fertility now, as surgery of any kind is known to potentially reduce fertility long term so they might just focus on establishing is the tubes are open and if they aren't it might be straight to IVF. This is just what I've gathered from limited information though so I could be wrong.

I hope you enjoy your time away and that you get to properly relax a bit, even better if it turns out to be the month for you 💛 best of luck!

I’m something like cd34. Flo and premom don’t like my long cycles. Might ask my doctors for metformin :/

MinnieTux · 05/10/2026 12:25

Cycle 10, 4DO, feeling quite sad and down like it's not going to happen naturally. Ive had such a hard year already losing my mam in May, and don't think I've got the strength in me to go through fertility treatment right now.

Got a GP appt today to discuss iron levels as mine are "borderline" but in reality low, and hand started acupuncture for general wellbeing / fertility support.

GoneWithTheWind4 · 05/10/2026 14:35

CD 23: weighing up the early tests, but I need to remember that even if it showed up now it could be a chemical! So I should save myself £10…. But symptom spotting like mad: very sore boobs! Are they more sore than usual? Can’t figure it out. I’m going to hold onto my £10 and not give myself false hope either… shall test IF period doesn’t show up on Sunday x

ByKindOpalPoet · 05/10/2026 16:48

Currently 10dpo and just got a BFP :) quietly confident after a chemical last month (got the BFP at 13dpo only for a chemical to happen two days later)
