Hey, anyone trying to conceive in August? I think I ovulated yesterday so am now in the dreaded two week wait! It’s actually my first time using ovulation strips- the other two just sort of happened! After experiencing my first miscarriage (D&C end of June) I am now desperate to be pregnant (and stay pregnant) again!
Have two boys so am trying for a girl, but really happy with a healthy baby of any gender! I have tried Shettles though of course I’m dubious about its effectiveness. Last DTD on 5th, 7th (I think) or maybe even today.
Fingers crossed for all trying!

I had bleeding with both my first two pregnancies, more for the second then the first. I wasn’t worried at all when I bled for the last one… but it didn’t work out. So now I know I will be on edge if it does happen again.

Thank you, I also didn't know I was pregnant as I had just had a "period" was only CD15 when I had odd symptoms frequent urination and swelling in my uterus and spotting. So was shocked to get a BFP and even all the health care professionals didn't believe me until they did blood work.

I am being patient this cycle. Already having odd symptoms. Putting it down to hormonal imbalance - miscarriage / age.
My expectations mu h lower.

I’m really sorry you went through that.
My second I remember finding out very early but no idea how many DPO or anything.
I also had new stock of the ovulation strips arrive this morning! Already have some of the cheapy pregnancy tests and think I have some 6 days early ones somewhere too…

My youngest juat turned 2 a few days ago.
It would be nice to have the same age gap as it worked out nicely with the first 2.

Thank you, one of them things and more common as we age.
Yes biochemical means implantation occured but has not been diagnosed with a scan or unable to diagnose via ultrasound. So the presence of HCG. My first 3 were + for a few days. But the last one was + for 4 weeks ans HCG was strong but Pregnancy of unknown location (POUL). Bleesing on and off for 5 weeks became anemic. So most traumatic occurance.

With my first I held out until 12dpo was a good egg to wait and was first cycle so had low expectations. My 2nd it was 3rd cycle and I started testing early and got + at 9dpo. I was using BBT and OPks and charting so I knew when I ovulated with my 2nd. Been charting now since Jul 2023.
This cycle will try to wait until 12dpo.....
Just got new stock of OPKs and HPTs 😂😭

Ah I’m sorry to read you have been having a hard time and so many losses. Is a chemical loss where you get the positive test which then turns to negative?
The frustrating thing about a loss is the knock effect it has on your timeline and trying again 😩

I mistyped my original post, it was meant to say DTD on 5th, and think I ovulated yesterday, or perhaps today.
When is the earliest we can test? I never really did any of this with my first two.

Hiya. I had to re read this sounded like my situ. I concieved my 2 boys no problems but now the past 18months experincing issues 4 biochemical losses last one in March/April.
Trying eveything. Have BBT and opks all the supplements since June 2025. I can get pregnant but early loss.the 4 times. The only thing different is I am now 39 38 when we started and the fertility Dr I spoke to said 37 is the drop off and them further decreases at 39. So yeah the only thing that has changed is I am now a senior!

I am currently 4DPO. Would also love a girl but happy with either.
