Positive or false positive?

Hello! I'm cycle day 24 (no idea how many dpo!) as we were going with the flow this month and not obsessing over tracking (famous last words!) but I guess maybe around 10/11 dpo. Did a test this morning as have lots of cheapies and last few months my cycle has been between 26-28 days.
i left the test to develop and forgot about it for 10/15 mins came back and it's a really faint line.
wondering should I be hopeful? Or is this more likely a false positive? It's the one step brand from Amazon.

i did another test this morning and another positive! I looked at it within 5 mins so I'm also convinced it's positive now! Eeek! How lovely congratulations! 🥳 xx

That’s def positive! You can’t get a false positive, you could get an indent but that’s def a positive! Congrats! I got a positive this morning too 🎉 but still soooo early so waiting to see how it goes 🤞🤞

I don't think it's a bad batch hopefully as I did test a couple days ago and was defo negative but I might do the water test 😂

@Peedthebedjust tested again as have loads of these cheapies and got another very faint positive! 😊 hopefully lines will carry on getting darker next few days x

Just to add that test does look a bit flooded though, make sure when dipping you don’t go past the line

It does look positive and I think if you’d left it an hour or two I’d be more worried about Evap lines but it’s quite a strong line to appear that quickly if it was an evap. I’d test again in the morning. TBH I’d probably just test again today, you might get a negative but you might get a positive and there’s your answer.
I’d also dip a test in water and check it after 15 mins and see how it looks. If it looks the same you know it’s an evap or bad batch. But I might be a bit unhinged for doing that.
