I’m 14 DPO so would have expected a positive to be darker than this? I’m due on today and so far nothing but I feel like I am about to start.

thoughts?

Just an update of sorts really. I tested again this morning and even though there was still a line, it was so much more fainter than the one’s I did yesterday so I’m starting to think I am having a chemical 😕 no AF yet but not feeling very hopeful right now.

Sorry to hear this! Look after yourself 💞

I’m sorry OP, could it have been that your urine was more diluted? 🤞🏼 I tend to find SMU are stronger than my first xx

@Janey3090i’m going off my apps and after doing LH tests I’m supposedly 14DPO which I think is what’s making me a bit hesitant. Worried about it being a chemical but will test again tomorrow and see! 🤞🏻

Try not to worry, the internet is saturated with stories of early positives but I've read loads of stories of people having faint positives at 14dpo and even after who have had successful pregnancies. Today, you are pregnant- wishing you a boring and uncomplicated pregnancy 💐

I’ve just done another with a clear blue ultra early???

Definitely positive, congratulations! Fingers crossed for you!

Definitely positive, both of them! Lines are pink not grey so not an indent! Congratulations!!! My lines started off super faint too! Give it a few days before you decide to re-test and you’d be surprised!

Definitely positive OP, congratulations!! Are you 100% sure on your ovulation date though? Only asking because my clearblue test today looks the same and I'm 10DPO xx

TheDeepBiscuit · 30/07/2026 12:36

Looks positive to me. Congratulations 🎊

For me my tests were a clear positive for the ones I took the day my period was due. It could be that you ovulated late so implantation happened later than planned but if you feel like you usually do before your period that could be more of an indication as I definitely felt different when I got positive tests.
