So I'm pretty much put this month, giving up all hope its happening this month. I know August is still a week away but thought I'd start a thread for the August TTCers. How's everyone doing?

So I knew I was out when CBT dropped on 10 dpo. I didn’t even bother testing so I waited until AF arrived this morning. That makes today CD1 of the 8th postpartum cycle. New cycle, new hope ! Baby dust to everyone here!✨

Confused. Just done an ovulation test looks positive to me but the app has read it at low 0.61 so does this mean its not quite a positive ovulation test?

@inkgirl is the test line as dark, or darker, than the control line? If so, I would say it is positive. Have you been testing before this one to see the progression?

Post a photo of it? The app sometimes reads off the side so it doesn’t quite get the darkest bit

I saw a website once that said how many people who had viable pregnancies had a positive at 9 dpo and it was under 50%! Some like 46%? There is still time for it to turn positive!

Yeah I have about 50 tests since I bought a massive box of combined lh/pregnancy ones so I could test whenever without feeling bad about wasting them.

I'm phoning my doctor in the morning as its been around 6 weeks since ive come off the pill and apart from a false positive ive not had a positive pregnancy test and not had AF arrive. No sign of her either. Other than nausea quite a bit of the time

Caved a took a test 9dpo this morning.. obvs negative. Felt like I was going to start AF early this morning (headache in the usualy spot) but still nothing - just have a feeling I'm out this month!

I saw a website once that said how many people who had viable pregnancies had a positive at 9 dpo and it was under 50%! Some like 46%? There is still time for it to turn positive!

took a test despite it being so early and I can either see a very very faint shadow line or it’s just picking up an indent (most likely). Actually find it quite fun analysing the photos even if it does turn out to be negative.

my previous I had a positive lh strip on the 11th and a decently positive test, dark enough for the apps to pick up as positive, on the 20th so I’m half convinced I’ll see really early again if it is positive.

I am officially out. AF arrived today, three whole days early. I can normally set my watch by my cycle so this was weird but at least I know and I can try again. I’m optimistic.

Sorry your period turned up! But glad you aren’t feeling too down about it. And how weird for it to be 3 days early! A May baby would be lovely, really hope you get one ❤️

I'm 5DPO and not feeling anything different tbh. Will test next weekend when I'll be 12 & 13 DPO. I have a busy week so hopefully time will feel fast!

Anyone else going to test next weekend?

I am 4DPO today - will test next weekend too although it’s my son’s second birthday party so a part of me wants to know after that to not take anything away from his special day!

Congrats on your BFP @ByLoudPeachPlayer

CD9 over here so going to start OPK’s tomorrow I think. Last month ovulation was CD17 and the month before CD14 so who knows what’ll happen this month! I used to be clockwork but my cycle seems to be a bit all over the place since the losses. Going to try and cover as much of next week as possible to maximise our chances as I hate feeling like we wasted a month but it just becomes a lot 😅

AF has arrived here as expected. Gutting that we wanted an 18 month gap and now the smallest we will have is 2 years exactly but who knows how long it will take, it could be 3+ years. I’m next due to ovulate early September if my cycles stay the same length. I then have loads of holiday to use at work after being on Mat leave so I’ll be off the majority of the month and we’re going away (in the UK). I had AL to use so had 2.5 weeks off when we conceived my son with a trip to Spain also so I’m clinging onto the fact it’s a sign 🤣

Sorry to hear AF has arrived. The age gap thing really bothers me too. It’s just getting bigger and bigger! I wish I’d started trying earlier, even though there are very good reasons why I didn’t try for another 21 month gap. But now it’s 3 and a half years when I was aiming for 2 years 9 months and growing all the time 😩

Hope you have a lovely holiday! Where are you going? Holiday worked for someone on the previous thread! They went away after negative at 11 dpo and came back with a Pregnant 2-3 weeks! Really hope it happens for you too!
