So I'm pretty much put this month, giving up all hope its happening this month. I know August is still a week away but thought I'd start a thread for the August TTCers.
How's everyone doing?

Sounds like its some what normal for periods to be delayed after coming off the pill then. I remember when I came of the pill the first few times I had a bleed within a few days, not even had that. I've got a doctors appointment tomorrow morning to see what my next steps are

If this month doesn’t work we’re going for tests/ ivf. It's weighing on my really heavily even though my bf has been so supportive. He is loving the long campaign I have to say haha. And he just keeps saying don’t worry if it doesn’t work we’ll have tests and ivf and if that doesn’t work we’ll adopt.

But still… it’s not the excitement I thought it would be it’s just so disappointing month after month.

I'm so glad to hear you have a supportive bf. I hope yoy get your positive soon

When I conceived my first I hadn’t had a period in over two months. You can still ovulate and conceive without the bleed! Fingers crossed for you :) after I came off the pill I was a bit wonky, I still am! It’s been about ten months since I came off it. I had wonky periods before my first, they regulated post birth, then the pill threw it all out of rhythm. 🙈

This is how my positive looked for my first pregnancy at 9/10dpo! Congratulations ❤️❤️ I know it probably dosent feel real until you see the words on a digital in a few days ❤️❤️

Same as me and my partner trying but not trying. He's almost 30 though where as I'm 38 so like you its now or never. But with my cycles still not have returned after coming off the pill I don't know what's happening

Did another test this morning and still just a v faint shadow so definitely just an indent, as expected. V early though so would have been unusual to get a positive already. I’m 7/8 dpo now so I’ll probably test until Thursday and then assume it’s not happened

we are trying not trying, so no pressure on ourselves, however, I can’t help but be excited to see the results 🙈
we dtd yesterday and today I have left ovary pain so really hoping it’s my ovulation as it’s typical pain for my ovulation. My cycles are a mess due to PCOS & endometriosis so here’s hoping.
we have 1 LO who is 4 and we are in our mid to late 30s so feels like a now or never scenario!

I can see what you mean I think. Could definitely be the start of something! But could also be dye bleed maybe? Not sure it’s clear enough to tell unfortunately! Did you save your FMU? If so, do another cheapie and see if you get a similar?

Caved and tested this morning as my boobs were hurting which is not normal for me. BFN 😖. I’m 10 dpo so still time but getting less and less likely!

Congratulations @ByLoudPeachPlayer how many DPO are you?

I'm 5DPO and not feeling anything different tbh. Will test next weekend when I'll be 12 & 13 DPO. I have a busy week so hopefully time will feel fast!

Yes il be due to test next week, im 4dpo, cycle 5 TTC baby number 2. Nice to know someone else is testing around the same time.

Had such high hopes this time due to the awkward spotting - but am officially out as AF did show up overnight with a vengeance.

On to the next cycle again 🥲

At least me and DH had a nice trip planned to Lake District so hopefully gets my mind off of it a bit, really really hoping for a sticky baby next cycle.

awww this happened to me last month, sooo annoying because when I was pregnant with my daughter this happened so I assumed it was the same…sooo upsetting, when ur hopes are high, all the best for the next cycle xxx

It doesn’t look quite darker, if I move the line about I can get about 0.75, but definitely high enough I’d be taking it as good enough and just testing to see if it peaks tomorrow or if that is your peak. I’ve had cycles where I’ve ovulated without catching anything above a 0.85 despite testing every couple hours.
