TTC August 2026

I'm in the exact same boat as you, fell on very quickly, ended in a loss and then 8 consecutive months of negatives. Idk about you but I found the first few months after the loss so hard as I had loads of expecation that it would happen super quickly after as everyone says it does but literally nothing happened. I can't offer much advice but to keep hanging in there, as crap as it is and look after yourself. Sending hugs. 🤗💞

I'm definitely out this cycle, I tested this morning 11dpo and its blank, I use sensitive tests too. Heart rate up again but temp dropped. AF due mon/tues so prepping for cycle 11. Had our doctors appt yesterday and have all the test ordered. I'm not even that bothered about negative tests anymore, we have a few holidays coming up so probably goes in my favour if we're not pregnant yet. After 8 consecutive cycles of negative tests I have 0 expecations so I'm not even disappointed anymore when they're negative, it's just expected haha. They did us a referral to a fertility clinic yesterday, apparently that takes about 5 months so should hear something in January. What is crazy though is that I planned a 2026 baby and now it's looking like a 2028 baby! Never thought things would take that long but that's life. At least we have more time to save money up for maternity 🙃

Hello ladies, I’m joining this thread ☺️ TTC baby #2 - going into cycle 10, with a chemical on cycle 6. Really needing some moral support if I’m honest, finding TTC really hard now as the months go on. Trying to remind myself it can be normal for it to take this long, but it doesn’t feel like that when you’re in the thick of it! Sending some baby dust to all 🫶🏻

I’m feeling fairly hopeful at the moment, I did worry today that maybe I’m closer to ovulation than I thought with increased CM and libido has returned so I’m going to make sure we cover the next few days just in case!

Hi everyone, hope yer doing well. Joining from the July thread. Cycle #3 trying for #3, and about to start the dreaded TWW.

Last month I had a alse positive/indent line and despite my best efforts and assuming it would take longer, I was very disappointed.

First month on clomid this month so wonder if that had any bearing, we'll see in 10-15 days 😂

Thank you, it could be all fine, likely my age! We fell so quickly last year so it’s just been a bit confusing that it’s been 8 months with no hint of a line and we’ve just reached 1 year ttc with no successful pregnancy to show for our efforts. Fingers crossed this is our month!

Firstly I'll nap... 6 times in 1 week is not our norm 😆

No huge plans but we are staying with family next weekend so won't even be able to do a sneaky early test which isn't a bad thing!

Regret testing again, back down to 0.2! Hopefully it goes up again tomorrow otherwise I’ll be wondering if I ovulated or not as well. TBH don’t think mine was anywhere near dark enough to be a success.

Thanks for sharing..I know that for some people it can take longer, but I think the hardest thing is the uncertainty before you get there. I've never been pregnant before so after all this time part of me thinks it just might never happen. My partner's semen analysis was really good so if there is an issue it's probably with me. I do have blood tests booked already, and I might have to get a hycosy if nothing happens in the next few months.

Thanks for the hope and positive stories @Peedthebed and @Silverglass 😊 I really hope this is ovulation too. Just so nervous after getting almost as dark a line last month and it not happening! Will keep an eye of CM and update!

That is such a long time. Did you have any tests, if you don't mind me asking? Did you manage to conceive naturally after 2 years?

I'm on day 26 of my typically 27 day cycle and I suddenly feel so down. I'm afraid it may be because my AF is coming after all. I daren't even do a test, I have seen so many negatives over the last 11 cycles I can't do it anymore. I feel very resigned and down right now. I would normally have a glimmer of hope that it might be the month but I'm just really tearful this month. It's been such a long time .I just wish I could forget all about TTC for a while but I know it wouldn't be possible.

I’ll test again because I have no patience and I have a lot of strips, but I know it’ll have dropped a bit and I’ll need to wait until tomorrow to see anything darker.

Hi ladies, didn’t realise there was an August thread already. So I’m a bit late to the party!

I’m CD5 today. Had my bloods done a couple of days ago and everything was normal (although for follicular phase my fsh was slightly raised and my oestrogen was slightly low but the GP has classed them as normal). So no obvious answer so far as to why we’re not falling. Hubby has his appointment mid August, he’ll be having a SA. 🤞

I would count this as positive personally. The lines look as dark as each other on this photo anyway.

@Silverglass oh exciting! Will you test again tonight or tomorrow?

@BigGirlPants01 good luck for the TWW! Do you have any plans to take your mind off the waiting?

I’m starting to get increase in CM past couple of days but still testing positive for hcg after my loss so not sure I will ovulate any time soon!

That’s as dark as mine got when I got pregnant, so fingers crossed for you!
