Anyone else in the two week wait??

Congratulations on the BFP’s over the last few days ✨

I’m trying to remain measured. I feel completely different to how I’d usually feel at this point in my cycle however I’m trying not to get my hopes up as equally it’s my first proper cycle since February what with back to back losses so it could just be my hormones are out of whack 😕 Desperate to know one way or another though- feels like time is moving backwards 😅

11 dpo for me and still nothing. Trying to tell myself it’s still early but I just don’t feel it’s my month!

@Slippedonmahbeans00 Sorry it’s still negative 😞 Human reproduction is so inefficient and 💩.
No bleeding here yet, I have to make it until Tuesday but just taking it one day at a time. Boobs are super swollen still but I think mentally just waiting for it to fail over the course of the week.
Has anyone else tested this am or got any positive updates? We need some happy news!

@RowsOfFlowers because of my hormone disorder, I have very raised levels of prolactin. This was identified in my pregnancy with my daughter but because care is so disjointed in this country and it has been such a long time since I had a pregnancy that continued, it’s sort of dropped out of the files. So they have to do another test to confirm that things are still the same even though I have been lactating the entire time my daughter has been alive even though she stopped breastfeeding age one. So what I’m actually hoping they will prescribe me is low-dose steroids because that will bring my hormones back under control and stop my uterus creating a hostile environment. I’m pretty certain this is what it’s going to be.

I did do another test this afternoon after holding my way for awhile and the line was a bit darker but it was one of those weird ones where the side of it was super super dark and then the other half of it was a lot lighter. I am not sure what to think. So I have decided I will not be testing anymore at all and I binned the remaining test to stop me from doing it. I have that scan booked on Wednesday and now bloods on Tuesday and I just have to make it to those days.

No cramps or bleeding at the moment. I also found my tests from my daughter, in a photo in my phone, and it seems that she never produce a dark line, all looking not too similar from the one I had this afternoon. So maybe there’s hope.

Out of curiosity, what were you hoping the GP to prescribe you at this stage? Progesterone?

@Or4nge its horrid that they are so blunt. I had similar when I had my miscarriage when I asked for a scan I got a “why? It won’t make any difference if it’s done today or at the appointment later in the week”.

I get for them it’s part of the job and perhaps they just get very clinical about things but I do sometimes think they forget for the person it’s happening to it can be devastating.

I think I am out this month as I tested again today, hoping my period comes on time as I have such long cycles 🙏🏻

Yeah feeling the same, it’s the waiting game that’s the killer 😅 I’m sure I have sore boobs and nausea but maybe I don’t.. x

@Moominmamato3 i went to the doc this morning and they did one there (my pee sample was basically clear though) it wasn’t nice hearing him on the phone to Early Preg Unit saying “the test was basically negative”. So if it makes it until Wednesday they’re going to scan me and see what’s going on. I asked for blood tests and they can’t do them until next week, and he won’t prescribe without bloods despite the fact he said “it’s probably a hormonal insufficiency”. So basically it could be helped, but not on the NHS’s timetable. 🙁 fully expecting to bleed before Wednesday but I’ll keep you posted. I just don’t want this to be number 5, I don’t want it to go away.

10 dpo and negative for me ~ wasn’t expecting a line given its early but still feeling a little deflated if I’m honest as not even a hint of anything!

Thanks @Or4nge that’s reassuring. I have been ttc for 18 months, and I’ve never ever had a line, so I’m feeling cautiously positive 🥹

@maynm the ovulation stick turning positive thing is really unreliable, I wouldn’t waste the stick. Wait until your period is due - I know it’s sooooooo hard.
@RowsOfFlowers they are obvious lines though. Sometimes they never get as dark as the control.

I’ve tested again this morning using FRER and FMU. Line is still faint but appeared a bit quicker than yesterday 🤷‍♀️ I’m still not convinced lol. Blood test booked for Monday.

Just tested at 11 DPO - negative. I’m guessing I’m still early testing, just can’t help myself! Do you think it’s worth using an ovulation test too or just stick to pregnancy? 🤞🏻

@maynm @Kroovy if it makes you feel any better with the testing, I tested last Friday and it was negative. I was 9dpo then and the test was one of those early ones that tells you in words. It was supposed to be able to tell me from five days before.
This is what I’ve got today 14dpo.

I’ve never had a 2 to 3 weeks before on a digital. They always got stuck at one to 2 weeks and then a few weeks later it would go wrong.

The clearly website says that 2 to 3 weeks means that it is measuring above 156 HCG and up to 2600, and apparently chemical pregnancies only ever produced up to 50 so I’m really hopeful that I am past that stage and that this is an actual real pregnancy that might not end in miscarriage! I hardly dare hope!

Let’s hope this is a super lucky thread for everybody because there seems to be a lot so far! Baby dust to everyone who are still waiting to test!

I tested negative at 9 DPO (yesterday). I’m going to test again Sunday or Monday if period doesn’t show up.

I had unprotected sex twice in my fertile window but due to long term ovarian suppression (for medical treatment) this is following the first period I’ve had (over a year later! but yay!). I haven’t got a clue if my cycle will still be 34 days or whether it will be my last period for a while as my body adjusts to having a period again so I’ve made peace and actually just happy to not be in medical menopause for a while. But I figure while it’s here I may as well try! 😅 Good luck everyone! 💕
